首先简单介绍超冷原子注入的微脉塞(MAZER)的基本理论和研究进展,然后具体介绍我们目前关于超冷V型三能级原子注入的双模微脉塞(双模MAZER)的研究工作.我们研究了原子相干性对这种双模MAZER系统中原子的发射几率和原子通过腔的透射几率的影响.结果表明,原子的发射几率随腔长变化的曲线中存在共振峰和非共振平台;当两个模的耦合强度之比一定时,不同注入原子相干性对应的发射几率共振峰呈现出相当大的区别.在原子透射几率随原子动量的变化曲线中也存在共振峰和非共振平台.腔长对原子的速度具有选择性,当腔长给定时,通过适当选择原子的相干参量,可调节原子通过腔的透射几率,从而可对原子的速度进行选择.  相似文献

利用投影算符技巧从刘维方程出发导出了二能级原子约化密度算符主方程,研究了压缩真空库场中二能级原子的非简并双光子荧光谱特性.发现与真空库或热库中双光子荧光不同,在非简并双光子情况中存在一种新型振荡现象,它具有上下两个阈值,在上下阈值之间原子发生振荡,在两阈值之外原子将不发生振荡.在两阈值之间原子的非简并双光子荧光谱呈现正峰结构,在两阈值之外双光子荧光谱具有负的峰结构.光谱形状强烈地依赖于双光子自然线宽,但光谱是非相敏性的,这是未曾预料到的. 关键词:  相似文献

建立了超冷V型三能级原子注入的微波激射的腔场光子统计的量子理论,研究了原子相干性对光子统计性质的影响.发现腔内原子的发射概率随腔长变化的曲线中存在着共振峰和非共振平台,原子相干性对这些共振峰和非共振平台的绝对大小和相对比例具有灵活的可调性.原子发射概率的这些特点对腔场光子统计产生了直接的影响.平均光子数随腔长变化的曲线中也存在着共振峰和非共振平台;给定腔长,适当调节原子相干参量,可以使光子数分布向大、小光子数两个方向灵活地移动,平均光子数也相应地增加和减少.研究中还发现,适当选取原子相干参量,光子统计在大 关键词: 微波激射 超冷V型三能级原子 原子相干性 光子统计  相似文献

We study the interaction of a pair of coupling two-level atoms with a single mode of the radiation field in an ideal cavity via two-photon resonant transition and/or degenerate Ramancoupled processes.In particular, we consider the emission spectra for both two-photon processes. 使用平面波展开法计算了二维正方格子介质柱光子晶体在改变中央介质柱半径的情况下谐振腔的模式,根据所计算的局域模式场分布的对称关系,研究了二维光子晶体谐振腔模式的简并性.结果表明:具有C4v对称群光子晶体谐振腔,存在着二重简并偶极模和二重简并六极模,同时也存在非简并单极模和四极模,二重简并模的90°旋转态与其形成简并对.模式的简并与非简并可以直观地通过考察模式场分布的对称关系而得到.  相似文献

研究了级联三能级系统中孪生色锁随机光场的相位共轭阿秒和频极化拍频(ASPB)不对称新效应。从理论上分析了自关联单光子简并四波混频(DFWM)和双光子非简并四波混频(NDFWM)信号辐射场与物质间不对等效应、混合型太赫兹失谐振荡特性,及双光子非简并共振四波混频信号的延时不对称性;同时也分析了由干涉计两臂不平衡色散效应引起的阿秒和频极化拍频信号的延时不对称性,即阿秒和频极化拍频信号的最大值相对于零延时有一个小偏移,结果表明该不对称性并这不影响阿秒和频极化拍频零差探测两偶极禁戒跃迁能级分裂的总体精度。阿秒和频极化拍频作为一种消除多普勒增宽的超快调制过程,从理论上说它可以扩展到任何两偶极禁戒跃迁能级系统。  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the effects of detuning on the velocity selection for ultracold three-level atoms in Λ configuration using mazer action. We find sharp resonances in the transmission probability with respect to the detuning. Our results show that the velocity selection of ultracold atoms can easily be tuned and enhanced using off-resonant field in a bimodal cavity.  相似文献

Two independent photons, produced through the spontaneous emission of two separate emitters subject to uncorrelated dephasing processes, can display two-photon interference (i.e. coalescence into a two-photon state) when they are incident simultaneously on a beamsplitter, in a manner analogous to that of twin photons produced through degenerate parametric fluorescence. The presence of dephasing processes, however, reduces the interference contrast (i.e. the probability of coalescence), by the ratio of the coherence time to the lifetime of the emitter. The degenerate two-photon emission process is treated on the basis of quantum theory. Neglecting relaxation mechanisms, solutions in short time approximation are given. Relevant quantities as the mean photon number, second order correlation, field fluctuations and the uncertainty product are analyzed. It is shown, that an initial coherent state does not tend to a two-photon coherent state by two-photon emission as it can be expected from the results given by Yuen.  相似文献

The properties of the two-mode mazer operating on V-type three-level atoms are studied. The effect of the oneatom pumping on the two modes of the cavity field in number-state is asymmetric, that is, the atom emits a photon into one mode with some probability and absorbs a photon from the other mode with some other probability. This effect makes the steady-state photon distribution and the steady-state photon statistics asymmetric for the two modes. The diagram of the probability currents for the photon distribution, given by the analysis of the master equation, reveals that there is no detailed balance solution for the master equation. The computations show that the photon statistics of one mode or both modes can be sub-Poissonian, that the two modes can have anticorrelation or correlation, that the photon statistics increases with the increase of thermal photons, and that the resonant position and strength of the photon statistics are influenced by the ratio of the two coupling strengths of the two modes. These properties are also discussed physically.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the velocity selection of ultracold three-level atoms in Λ configuration using a mazer. Our model is the same as discussed by Arun et al. [R. Arun, G.S. Agarwal, M.O. Scully, H. Walther, Phys. Rev. A 62 (2000) 023809] for mazer action in a bimodal cavity. We show that the initial Maxwellian velocity distribution of ultracold atoms can be narrowed due to the presence of resonances in the transmission through dressed-state potential. When the atoms are initially prepared in one of the two lower atomic states then significantly better velocity selectivity is obtained due to the presence of dark states.  相似文献

The dissipation of the field in the two-photonJaynes-Cummings model (JCM) with degenerate atomic levels was studied.The initial degenerate atomic state affects the field coherence loss,when the degenerate atom is initially in an equal probability superposition state,the field coherence loss is smallest,It is found that the degeneracy of the atomic level increases the period of entanglement between the atom and the field.When the degeneracy was considered,the coherence properties of the field could be affected by the reservoir qualitatively,if a nonlinear two-photon process is involved.This is different from the dissipation of one-photon JCM with degenerate atomic levels.  相似文献
