1.2 W中红外ZnGeP2光参量振荡器   总被引:6,自引:1,他引:5  
报导了利用Tm,HoGdVO4激光器抽运双谐振ZnGeP2光参量振荡器实验研究.Tm(5%),Ho(0.5%)GdVO4晶体采用液氮制冷方式,工作在77 K温度条件下.以25 W波长为800 nm的光纤耦合激光二极管抽运,2 μm激光最大平均功率7 W,脉冲宽度小于30 ns, 脉冲重复频率5 kHz到20 kHz可调.非线性频率转换晶体ZnGeP2长15 mm,55?切割,OPO谐振腔为平平腔,腔长约25 mm.在5W的2 μm激光抽运下,脉冲重复频率10 kHz,实现了信号光3.7 μm及闲频光4.5 μm中红外激光输出,参量光脉冲宽度为15~17 ns,最大平均功率大于1.2 W,光-光转换效率为20%.测量参量光输出光束全宽度远场发散角4 mrad,光束质量M2因子小于3.  相似文献

An all-fiber LD-clad-pumped Tm-doped fiber laser was reported, and the CW maximal output power reached 24 W at nearly 1.94 μm. The double-clad Tm-doped fiber had a demission of 25/250 μm with the core NA 0.1 and inner-clad NA 0.46. A matched passive multi-mode FBG acted as the front cavity. Cooling by the water, the 56% high slope efficiency was achieved and threshold was 6.4 W, respected to the launched pump power. At the low power pump, the fiber laser spectrum had only one peak at 1.936 μm. Increasing the launched pump power, the output laser wavelength grew to 3–4 peaks. Because the multi-mode FBG reflectivity was not very high, both ends of the fiber laser had laser output power, and the ratio was nearly 10:1.  相似文献

An efficient, stable diode-end-pumped simultaneous continuous-wave (CW) dual-wavelength laser operating at 1.319 and 1.338 μm in a Nd:YAG crystal has been demonstrated. A total output power of 6.3 W is achieved at an absorbed pump power of 15 W, with a slope efficiency of 43.5%. The instability of output power is less than 1%. With a type Ⅱ critical phase-matched KTP crystal inserted into the cavity as frequency doubler, a maximum output power of 200 mW in red region is acquired. In addition, a sixwavelength laser operation at 1.319 μm, 1.338 μm, 1.356 μm, 659.5 nm, 669 nm, and 678 nm is observed.  相似文献

A doubly resonant ZnGeP2 (ZGP) optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a novel Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser was demonstrated. Cryogenic Tin(5 at.-%), Ho(0.5 at.-%):GdVO4 laser with high pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 10 kHz at 2.05 μm was employed as pumping source of ZGP OPO. The 15-mm-long ZGP crystal, 55° cut for I-type phase-matching with low absorption coefficient less than 0.05 cm^-1 at 2 μm, was placed in a piano-piano cavity with resonator length of 30 mm. The ZGP OPO generated a total combined output power of 1.2 W at 3.75 and 4.52 μm under pumping power of 5.3 W, corresponding to slope efficiency of 40% from incident 2μm laser power to midinfrared (Mid-IR) output. A widely tunable range from 3.0 to 6.5 μm was achieved by changing the crystal angle only 3.5°.  相似文献

We report on crystal growth, spectroscopy, thermal conductivity and (4)I(11/2)→(4)I(13/2)-laser performance of Er:Lu(2)O(3). Pumping with an optically pumped semiconductor laser at 971 nm, 1.4 W of cw output power with a slope efficiency of ~36% at 2.85 μm was obtained at room temperature. This exceeds the Stokes efficiency due to an upconversion process recycling population of the lower laser level back into the upper laser level, yielding the highest efficiency of any Er-sesquioxide laser around 3 μm. Under diode pumping, 5.9 W of output power with 27% of slope efficiency was achieved with an M(2) of 1.2 to 1.4.  相似文献

报道了2μm被动调Q的Ho∶YAG激光器,该激光器采用Tm~(3+)光纤激光器作为泵浦源,使用多层石墨烯作为可饱和吸收体。在连续波激光输出模式下,当泵浦功率为4.2 W时,获得了750 mW激光输出,输出激光中心波长为2.09μm,斜率效率为29.6%。在连续波激光器谐振腔中插入多层石墨烯可饱和吸收体并调整谐振腔,获得了脉冲激光输出。当泵浦功率为4.2 W时,获得最小脉冲宽度3.1μs、重复频率66.6 kHz的脉冲激光输出,其最大平均输出功率为170 mW,斜率效率为12.6%,光束质量因子M_x~2=1.15,M_y~2=1.12。  相似文献

The diode-pumped Nd:YxGd1-xVO4 crystal continuous wave (CW) laser operating at 1.06 μm with a simple plane-concave cavity and a "V-shaped" folded cavity for intracavity frequency-doubling have been studied. With the incident pump power of 8 W, an output power (1.06 μm) of 3.4 W was achieved,giving an optical conversion efficiency of 42.5%. 884 mW of stable green radiation was generated with the incident pump power of 5.9 W, giving an optical conversion efficiency of 15%.  相似文献

An efficient CW bismuth fiber laser operating around 1.46 μm with an efficiency of >50% and an output power of >20 W has been developed on a bismuth-doped GeO(2)-SiO(2) fiber. The laser demonstrates weak dependence of the output power on temperature in comparison with bismuth lasers operating near 1.15 and 1.3 μm. The laser generation has been obtained in the range 1.39 to 1.54 μm. The first linearly polarized bismuth-doped fiber laser at 1.46 μm based on a PANDA-type fiber has been demonstrated.  相似文献

We report a low noise continuous-wave (CW) single-frequency 1.5-μm laser source obtained by a singly resonant optical parametric oscillator (SRO) based on periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN). The SRO was pumped by a CW single-frequency Nd:YVO4 laser at 1.06 μm. The 1.02 W of CW single-frequency signal laser at 1.5 μm was obtained at pump power of 6 W. At the output power of around 0.75 W, the power stability was better than ±1.5% and no mode-hopping was observed in 30 min and frequency stability was better than 8.5 MHz in 1 min. The signal wavelength could be tuned from 1.57 to 1.59 μm by varying the PPLN temperature. The 1.5-μm laser exhibits low noise characteristics, the intensity noise of the laser reaches the shot noise limit (SNL) at an analysis frequency of 4 MHz and the phase noise is less than 1 dB above the SNL at analysis frequencies above 10 MHz.  相似文献

An efficient 2 μm room temperature Ho:YVO(4) laser resonantly pumped by a 1.94 μm Tm:YAP laser is demonstrated, for the first time to our knowledge, in this Letter. Up to 8.58 W of laser output at 2053 nm is obtained with the optical-to-optical conversion efficiency as much as 41.2%. The output beam had quality of M2 factor with Mx(2) of 3.58 and My(2) of 1.76 at 8 W output level. In addition, we also obtained 4.18 W laser output at 2066 nm and 7.04 W at 2040 nm from the Ho:YVO(4) laser with conversion efficiency of 27.8% and 33.8%, respectively.  相似文献

为了获得高效率3 m~5 m中红外激光输出,利用电光调Q晶体RbTiOPO4(RTP),通过高重复频率驱动调Q同步技术和LD侧面泵浦技术,获得高重频窄脉宽1.06 m激光输出,泵浦非线性晶体周期极化钽酸锂(PPLT)进行频率变换,实现高功率3 m~5 m中红外激光输出。在电源输入电流20 A、调Q驱动频率10 kHz的条件下,获得15 W的1.06 m激光。利用该1.06 m激光泵浦PPLT获得最高功率为2.6 W的3.9 m中红外激光,1.06 m到3.9 m的转化效率为17.3%。实验结果表明:通过高重频电光调Q技术和LD侧面泵浦技术,可以实现高重频窄脉宽1.06 m偏振光输出,泵浦PPLT可获得高功率高效率3.9 m中红外激光输出。  相似文献

With a plano-concave cavity,diode-pumped continuous-wave(CW) and actively Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser operating at 1.34 μm is demonstrated.Maximum CW output power of 4.76 W and Q-switched average output power of 2.64 W are obtained with output coupler(transmission T = 3.9%).For the Q-switching operation,the theoretically calculated pulse energy and pulse width,with a pulse repetition frequency(PRF) range of 5-40 kHz,coincide with the experimental results.With a T = 11.9% output coupler,the maximum peak power of 24.3 kW and minimum pulse width of 6.5 ns are obtained when the PRF is 10 kHz.To the best of our knowledge,this is the shortest actively Q-switched pulse duration ever obtained in a 1.3-μm Nd-doped vanadate laser.  相似文献

An all-solid-state mid-infrared optical parametric oscillator with wide tunability by using two identical multi-grating periodically poled 5-mol.-% MgO-doped lithium niobate cascaded is reported. The pump laser is an acousto-optically Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with 150-ns pulse width at repetition rate of 10 kHz. Wide tunability from 2.789 to 4.957μm at the idler wavelength is achieved by varying the temperature from 40 to 200 ~C and translating the grating periods from 26 to 31 μm with a step of 0.5μm. When the incident pump average power is 8.15 W, the maximum idler output average power is 2.23 W at 3.344 μm and the optic-optic conversion efficiency is about 27.4%.  相似文献
