报道了2μm被动调Q的Ho∶YAG激光器,该激光器采用Tm~(3+)光纤激光器作为泵浦源,使用多层石墨烯作为可饱和吸收体。在连续波激光输出模式下,当泵浦功率为4.2 W时,获得了750 mW激光输出,输出激光中心波长为2.09μm,斜率效率为29.6%。在连续波激光器谐振腔中插入多层石墨烯可饱和吸收体并调整谐振腔,获得了脉冲激光输出。当泵浦功率为4.2 W时,获得最小脉冲宽度3.1μs、重复频率66.6 kHz的脉冲激光输出,其最大平均输出功率为170 mW,斜率效率为12.6%,光束质量因子M_x~2=1.15,M_y~2=1.12。  相似文献

A 2.09-μm in-band pumped passively Q-switched Ho: YAG laser is demonstrated. Single layer graphene deposited on a quartz substrate is used as the saturable absorber for the Q-switched operation. The minimum pulse width of 2.11μs is obtained at an average output power of lOOmW, corresponding to a pulse repetition frequency of 57.1 kHz and the pulse energy of 1.75 μJ. The beam quality factors M^2 of the Q-switched laser are 1.18 and 1.22 in the horizontal and longitudinal direction, respectively. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of the passively Q-switched laser is 4.3%, which is the highest conversion efficiency in the 2 μm wavelength, to the best of our knowledge. It shows clearly that the Ho: YAG crystal is a potential gain medium in the 2 μm range for the graphene application.  相似文献

A continuous-wave Nd:KGd(WO4)2 single-longitudinal-mode laser is demonstrated with Fabry-Perot etalons in a simple linear cavity. The thermal lens effect is dramatically lowered by propagating the laser beam along the ‘athermal’ direction inside the laser crystal, which is very beneficial to removing the heat generated in the mode selection process. The maximum single-longitudinal-mode output power obtained is 64.8 mW at incident pump power of 4.7 W, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 1.3% and a slope efficiency of 1.7%.  相似文献

We experimentally investigate the continuous-wave(cw)and acousto-optical(AO)Q-switched performance of a diode-pumped Ho:(Sc_(0.5)Y_(0.5))_2SiO_5(Ho:SYSO)laser.A fiber-coupled laser diode at 1.91m is employed as the pump source.The cw Ho:SYSO laser produces 13.0 W output power at 2097.9 nm and 56.0%slope efficiency with respect to the absorbed pump power.In the AO Q-switched regime,at a pulse repetition frequency of 5 kHz,the Ho:SYSO laser yields 2.1 mJ pulse energy and 21 ns pulse width,resulting in a calculated peak power of 100 k W.In addition,at the maximum output level,the beam quality factor of the Q-switched Ho:SYSO laser is measured to be about 1.6.  相似文献
