The requirement of green and sustainable materials to prepare heterogeneous catalysts has intensified for practical reasons over the past few decades. Carbohydrates are possibly the most plentiful and renewable organic materials in nature with inimitable physiochemical properties, plausible low-cost and large-scale production, and sustainability features could be exploited in the generation of nanostructured heterogeneous catalysts. This review article outlines the organic transformations catalyzed by diverse carbohydrate-based nanostructured catalysts in greener and environmentally friendly processes. Selected examples are highlighted for a variety of organic reactions exploiting the proposed catalysts’ reactivity and reusability, and interactions with the intrinsic nature of the applied carbohydrate supports; advantages and speculated challenges of the introduced catalysts are deliberated as well. 相似文献
A rapid, selective, and sensitive liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the quantitation of the novel CDK5 inhibitor ‘20–223' in mouse plasma. Separation of analytes was achieved by a reverse-phase ACE Excel C18 column (1.7 μm, 100 × 2.1 mm) with gradient elution using 0.1% formic acid (FA) in methanol and 0.1% FA as the mobile phase. Analytes were monitored by MS/MS with an electrospray ionization source in the positive multiple reaction monitoring mode. The MS/MS response was linear over the concentration range 0.2–500 ng/mL for 20–223. The within- and between-batch precision were within the acceptable limits as per Food and Drug Administration guidelines. The validated method was successfully applied to plasma protein binding and in vitro metabolism studies. Compound 20–223 was highly bound to mouse plasma proteins (>98% bound). Utilizing mouse S9 fractions, in vitro intrinsic clearance (CLint) was 24.68 ± 0.99 μL/min/mg protein. A total of 12 phase I and II metabolites were identified with hydroxylation found to be the major metabolic pathway. The validate method required a low sample volume, was linear from 0.2 to 500 ng/mL, and had acceptable accuracy and precision. 相似文献

The relative rates of arylation of primary alkylamines with different Pd-NHC catalysts have been measured, as have the relative rates of arylation of the secondary aniline product in an attempt to understand the key ligand design features necessary to have high selectivity for the monoarylated amine product. As the substituents on the N-aryl ring of the NHC increase in size, selectivity for monoarylation increases and this is further enhanced by chlorinating the back of the NHC ring. Computations have been performed on the catalytic cycle of this transformation in order to understand the selectivity obtained with the different catalysts. 相似文献

We present the first unquenched lattice-QCD calculation of the form factors for the decay \(B\rightarrow D^*\ell \nu \) at nonzero recoil. Our analysis includes 15 MILC ensembles with \(N_f=2+1\) flavors of asqtad sea quarks, with a strange quark mass close to its physical mass. The lattice spacings range from \(a\approx 0.15\) fm down to 0.045 fm, while the ratio between the light- and the strange-quark masses ranges from 0.05 to 0.4. The valence b and c quarks are treated using the Wilson-clover action with the Fermilab interpretation, whereas the light sector employs asqtad staggered fermions. We extrapolate our results to the physical point in the continuum limit using rooted staggered heavy-light meson chiral perturbation theory. Then we apply a model-independent parametrization to extend the form factors to the full kinematic range. With this parametrization we perform a joint lattice-QCD/experiment fit using several experimental datasets to determine the CKM matrix element \(|V_{cb}|\). We obtain \(\left| V_{cb}\right| = (38.40 \pm 0.68_{\text {th}} \pm 0.34_{\text {exp}} \pm 0.18_{\text {EM}})\times 10^{-3}\). The first error is theoretical, the second comes from experiment and the last one includes electromagnetic and electroweak uncertainties, with an overall \(\chi ^2\text {/dof} = 126/84\), which illustrates the tensions between the experimental data sets, and between theory and experiment. This result is in agreement with previous exclusive determinations, but the tension with the inclusive determination remains. Finally, we integrate the differential decay rate obtained solely from lattice data to predict \(R(D^*) = 0.265 \pm 0.013\), which confirms the current tension between theory and experiment.
A self-assembled Fe4L6 cage complex internally decorated with acid functions is capable of accelerating the thioetherification of activated alcohols, ethers and amines by up to 1000-fold. No product inhibition is seen, and effective supramolecular catalysis can occur with as little as 5 % cage. The substrates are bound in the host with up to micromolar affinities, whereas the products show binding that is an order of magnitude weaker. Most importantly, the cage host alters the molecularity of the reaction: whereas the reaction catalyzed by simple acids is a unimolecular, SN1-type substitution process, the rate of the host-mediated process is dependent on the concentration of nucleophile. The molecularity of the cage-catalyzed reaction is substrate-dependent, and can be up to bimolecular. In addition, the catalysis can be prevented by a large excess of nucleophile, where substrate inhibition dominates, and the use of tritylated anilines as substrates causes a negative feedback loop, whereby the liberated product destroys the catalyst and stops the reaction. 相似文献
A new preparation route is developed for the synthesis of needle-like crystals of [Au(S2CNH2)2]SCN, which avoids disproportionation of the AuI salt used as a starting material. In the crystal structure, the two crystallographically independent AuIII centers are in a square-planar environment of two S2CNH2 ligands. The Hirshfeld surface analysis reveals the presence of noncovalent intermolecular S⋅⋅⋅S interactions, which are essential for the spatial arrangement of the molecules. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations including dispersion and damping corrections result in a unit cell volume very close to the value determined experimentally. Thermal decomposition in an inert atmosphere generates black needles with lengths of up to 500 μm. X-ray powder diffraction and pair distribution function analyses demonstrate that the needles are composed of nanosized crystals with a volume-weighted average domain size of 20(1) nm. According to results of X-ray photoemission experiments, the black needles are covered by a nitrogen-rich carbon nitride with composition near (CN)2N. 13C solid-state NMR investigations indicate that two different carbon species are present, with signals corresponding well to heptazine units as in melon and triazine units as in poly(triazin imide) type compounds. Scanning transmission electron microscopy tomography evidences that the needles are composed of slightly elongated nanoparticles. 相似文献
