Variable-Coefficient Hyperbola Function Method and Its Application to （2＋1）-Dimensional Variable-Coefficient Broer-Kaup System

Based on a new intermediate transformation, a variable-coeFficient hyperbola function method is proposed.Being concise and straightforward, it is applied to the (2 1)-dimensional variable-coeFficient Broer-Kaup system. As a result, several new families of exact soliton-like solutions are obtained, besides the travelling wave. When imposing some conditions on them, the new exact solitary wave solutions of the (2 1)-dimensional Broer Kaup system are given. The method can be applied to other variable-coeFficient nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.     

Dark Spatial Solitary Wave Due to Cascaded x^（2） Nonlinearity

The formation of the dark spatial solitary wave in cascaded second harmonic generation processes is numerically studied based on the nonlinear-coupled equations. It is shown that the solitary wave exists when the effective three-order nonlinearity induced by cascaded second-order nonlinearity is negative.     

Baeicklund Transformation and Multiple Soliton Solutions for （3＋1）-Dimensional Potential-YTSF Equation

We study an approach to constructing multiple soliton solutions of the (3 1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation. We take the (3 1)-dimensional potential- YTSF equation as an example. Using the extended homogeneous balance method, one can find a Backlund transformation to decompose the (3 1)-dimensional potential-YTSF equation into a set of partial differential equations. Starting from these partial differential equations, some multiple soliton solutions for the (3 1)-dimensional potential-YTSF equation are obtained by introducing a class of formal solutions.     

广义特征坐标系计算膨胀波与激波优越性的数值验证

最近提出的以流体速度和声速的线性组合为速度而运动的广义特征坐标系,是-个更为-般的坐标系统,当参数取不同特殊值的时候,就可以得到其他经典的坐标系统.这种坐标系的最大特点是,它能跟随膨胀波(当然也可以跟随激波和接触间断)运动,从而在使用同-计算格式的前提下,使得膨胀波的计算精度更高.对膨胀波和激波进行数值试验,结果显示广义特征坐标系在计算膨胀波和激波时明显优于传统的坐标系.     

颗粒Reynolds正应力轨道模型及后台阶两相流动数值模拟

用随机过程理论建立气固两相耦合脉动量Lagrange方程,并建立了气固两相流随机颗粒轨道模型中颗粒Reynolds正应力的Lagrange方程.将新的模型运用于各向同性的湍流衰减的流场中,模拟颗粒的湍流扩散特性,与文[1]中的模型和实验结果作比较,并使用新模型模拟了后台阶两相流动.     

基于几何区域分解的三维输运问题并行迭代算法

对三维直角坐标下的输运隐式差分方程,研究了基于几何区域分解的并行迭代算法,给出了串、并行迭代误差估计.并对相关数值结果进行了分析、比较.     

On the properties of electromagnetic waves propagating inside moving dielectric media

The properties of electromagnetic waves propagating inside isotropic or uniaxial dielectric media moving in an arbitrary direction are analysed. The scalar products of electromagnetic field vectors inside these moving media are investigated in the kEB system from Maxwell's equations and Lorentz-covariant constitutive relations. Several important equations are derived. They are useful in discussing problems such as the energy density and radiation pressure, which are of interest in theoretical studies and many application subjects.     

A hierarchy of lattice soliton equations and its Darboux transformation

A new discrete spectral problem is introduced and the corresponding hierarchy of the lattice soliton equations are derived by means of the trace identity. We find a new Darboux transformation of the lattice soliton equation, through which the explicit solutions are shown.     

Form invariance and conserved quantities of Nielsen equations of relativistic variable mass nonholonomic systems

In this paper, the definition and criterion of the form invariance of Nielsen equations for relativistic variable mass nonholonomic systems are given. The relation between the form invariance and the Noether symmetry is studied.Finally, we give an example to illustrate the application of the result.     

The dispersive properties of a dielectric-rod loaded waveguide immersed in a magnetized annular plasma

Propagation properties of electromagnetic waves in a dielectric-rod waveguide immersed in a magnetized annular plasma are presented in this paper. The dispersion relations are derived and calculated. The results show that the dielectric-rod loading can make the structure less dispersive and the transmission frequency-band broadened.
