The dynamics of a neural network model in neutral form is investigated. We prove that a sequence of Hopf bifurcations occurs at the origin as the delay increases. The direction of the Hopf bifurcations and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are determined by using normal form method and center manifold theory. Global existence of periodic solutions is established using a global Hopf bifurcation result of Krawcewicz et al. and a Bendixson's criterion for higher dimensional ordinary differential equations due to Li and Muldowney. 相似文献

A novel direct proportional pressure-regulating valve is presented in this paper, and its working principle is introduced. The pressure of feedback chamber is controlled by two orifices. The lumped parameter double-mass dynamic model considering both the spool mass and the plunger mass is established. The model consists of the subsystem models with hydraulic fluid dynamic, valve mechanic and electromagnetic. The numerical model is validated through experiments. With the model, the spool and pressure dynamics are analysed by comparing the changes of the simulation parameters. The effects of orifice diameters, lap, spring stiffness, viscous damping coefficient on the stability of spool and pressure are investigated. The results show that a fixed relationship between the orifice diameters of the valve can be achieved. A larger overlap is beneficial to improve the stability of the spool. It is aimed to propose a parametric design method for the valve optimization.
White light interferometer can be used to measure the amplitude extinction ratio (ER) of polarizer and coupling distribution in fiber. A LiNbO3 polarizer coupled with a polarization maintaining fiber and a silica planar waveguide at the two ends was measured using white light interferometer. According to the principles of optical coherence domain polarimeter (OCDP) technique, the test scheme is analyzed and presented to measure the ER of LiNbO3 polarizer with its apparatus proposed correspondingly. By analyzing the interference intensity, both the ER of LiNbO3 polarizer and its coupling crosstalk with optical fiber and waveguide are obtained. The results illustrate that the ER of a 5 mm-long LiNbO3 polarizer is 71 dB and the crosstalk of the coupling points are around 40 dB. The results have good agreement with analysis. 相似文献
A massive cubic press, with a maximum load of 1400 tons on every WC anvil, has been installed at the High Pressure Laboratory of Peking University. High-P experiments have been conducted to examine the performance of the conventional experimental setup and some newly developed assemblies adopting the anvil-preformed gasket system. The experimental results suggest that (1) the conventional experimental setup (assembly BJC2-0) can reach pressures up to about 6 GPa with a large cell volume of 34.33 cm3; (2) the anvil-preformed gasket system, despite decreasing the P-generating efficiency, extends the P-generating capability up to about 8 GPa at the expense of reducing the cell volume down to 8.62 cm3 (assembly BJC2-6); (3) due to the large cell volume, it is possible to make further modifications to extend the pressure range, as readily demonstrated, to about 10 GPa (assembly BJC5-7); (4) the effect of high temperature on the pressure generation of the press is not significant. It follows that this cubic press can be very useful in synthesizing materials of large volume at high pressures and to the studies such as high-P phase equilibrium, trace element partitioning and isotope fractionation in the research fields of Earth and planetary sciences. 相似文献
