Nonlinear Time Series Analysis Since 1990:Some Personal Reflections

Abstract I reflect upon the development of nonlinear time series analysis since 1990 by focusing on five majorareas of development. These areas include the interface between nonlinear time series analysis and chaos,thenonparametric/semiparametric approach,nonlinear state space modelling,financial time series and nonlinearmodelling of panels of time series.     

Solvothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Layered Thioantimonate(Ⅲ) [C4H9NH3]2Sb4S7

An inorganic-organic hybrid thioantimonate(Ⅲ) [CH3(CH2)3NH3]2Sb4S7 1 with layered structure was synthesized by solvothermal method.1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P with a = 7.0124(11), b = 11.919(2), c = 14.879(3) (A), α = 108.791(3), β = 102.441(3), γ = 92.846(2)o, V = 1140.1(3) (A)3, Mr = 859.71, Z = 2, Dc = 2.504 g/cm3, μ= 5.324 mm-1, F(000) = 804, S = 1.013, the final R = 0.0297 and wR = 0.0618 for 3534 observed reflections with I＞2σ(I). 1 consists of [C4H9NH3] cations and two-dimensional [Sb4S7]n2n-anion which is composed of three SbS3 trigonal pyramids and one SbS4 unit joined by sharing common corners. The anionic layers are stacked perpendicularly to the c axis of the unit cell forming two-dimensional channels between the layers. The [C4H9NH3] cations interdigitate in a bilayer and reside in the 2D channels leading to a sandwich-like arrangement of the anion and cations.

用于压缩光探测的高共模抑制比平衡零拍探测器

根据光电二极管的等效电路图,基于自减方案的平衡零拍探测器的光电管(ETX500)产生的光电流的位相差异主要由等效电容引起,通过给两个光电管施加不同的偏置电来补偿等效电容的差异获得高共模抑制比的平衡零拍探测器,在探测器中安装任意两个ETX500,获得了63.8dB的高共模抑制比,并且当激光功率达到探测器的饱和功率54 mW时,激光光场的噪声谱在2 MHz处高于电子学噪声37dB,该探测器能很好地满足压缩态探测对低噪声、线性增益及高共模抑制比的要求。     

Influence of mixed common solvent on the co-assembled morphology of PS-<Emphasis Type="Italic">b</Emphasis>-PEO and CdS quantum dots

The hybrid structures of polystyrene-b-poly(ethylene oxide) (PS-b-PEO) block copolymer and inorganic nanoparticles with good stability and biocompatibility have potential applications in drug delivery and bioimaging. Spherical co-assemblies of PS₁₂₀-b-PEO₃₁₈ and oleylamine-capped CdS quantum dots (QDs) are produced successfully in this work by adding water to a mixed common solvent, such as N,N-dimethylmethanamide (DMF)/chloroform, DMF/tetrahydrofuran (THF), or DMF/toluene. The energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectrum indicates that QDs are located at the interface between the core and shell of the spherical co-assemblies. The co-assembly process during water addition is traced by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and turbidity measurement. Spherical co-assemblies are formed through budding from bilayers of the block copolymer and QDs. The morphology of the co-assemblies is related to the miscibility of the QD-dispersing solvents with water and the morphology changes from a spherical to a vesicle-like structure with DMF/toluene. Increasing THF content in the mixed solvent causes morphological transitions from spherical co-assemblies to multi-branched cylinders and micelles where QDs are located in the central core. Increasing chloroform content yields vesicle-like structures with protruding rods on the surface. The mechanism of the morphological transitions is also discussed in detail.

Degree distribution of the greatest common divisor of polynomials over 𝔽q

We study the degree distribution of the greatest common divisor of two or more random polynomials over a finite field ??_q. We provide estimates for several parameters like number of distinct common irreducible factors, number of irreducible factors counting repetitions, and total degree of the gcd of two or more polynomials. We show that the limiting distribution of a random variable counting the total degree of the gcd is geometric and that the distributions of random variables counting the number of common factors (with and without repetitions) are very close to Poisson distributions when q is large. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 本文在Hilbert空间的框架下,研究无限族非扩张映象T_1,T_2,…的迭代程序x_n+1=λ_(n+1)y+(1-λ_(n+1))T_(n+1)x_n的收敛性问题．在适当的条件下,证明了该迭代序列收敛于这一非扩张映象族的最近的公共不动点．其结果改进和推广了引文中相应的结果．
