Recently, continuous‐time nonstationary Gabor (NSG) frames were introduced in adaptive signal analysis. They allow for efficient reconstruction with flexible sampling and varying window functions. In this paper, we focus on the existence and construction of NSG frames in the discrete‐time setting. We provide existence results for painless NSG frames and for NSG frames with fast decaying window functions. We also construct NSG frames with noncompactly supported window functions from a known painless NSG frame. Some examples are provided to illustrate the general theory. 相似文献

It is well known that an ordered tournament OWh(v) exists if and only if v ≡ 1 (mod 4), v ≥ 5. An ordered triplewhist tournament on v players is said to have the three person property if no two games in the tournament have three common players. We briefly denote such a design as a 3POTWh(v). In this article, we show that a 3POTWh(v) exists whenever v>17 and v ≡ 1 (mod 4) with few possible exceptions. In this paper, the 3D Navier–Stokes (N–S) equation and Cahn–Hilliard (C–H) equations were solved using a free‐energy‐based lattice Boltzmann (LB) model. In this model, a LB equation with a D3Q19 velocity model is used to recover continuity and N–S equations while another LB equation with D3Q7 velocity model for solving C–H equation (Int. J. Numer. Meth. Fluids, 2008; 56 :1653–1671) is applied to solve the 3D C–H equation. To avoid the excessive use of computational resources, a moving reference frame is adopted to allow long‐time simulation of a bubble rising. How to handle the inlet/outlet and moving‐wall boundary conditions are suggested. These boundary conditions are simple and easy for implementation. This model's performance on two‐phase flows was investigated and the mass conservation of this model was evaluated. The model is validated by its application to simulate the 3D air bubble rising in viscous liquid (density ratio is 1000). Good agreement was obtained between the present numerical results and experimental results when Re is small. However, for high‐Re cases, the mass conservation seems not so good as the low‐Re case. An evaluation of the ICPL (isotope-coded protein labeling) non-isobaric labeling technique was performed using two different biological models. Two samples containing phage T4 capsids were mixed in a 1:1 ratio after being labeled with the light or heavy versions of the ICPL reagent. The analysis of this proteome demonstrated the feasibility of this approach for differential quantitative proteomics and was employed to optimize the experimental parameters of the ICPL workflow. ICPL-mediated analysis of two more complex proteomes, those of a Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium virulent strain and an isogenic attenuated mutant, and its comparison with the results obtained in a 2D-PAGE “classical” approach confirmed that ICPL is a valuable alternative to other labeling techniques currently in use. In addition, our results suggest that labeling at the peptide level instead of following the standard ICPL workflow should increase both the number of proteins quantified and the reliability of the quantification. 相似文献

Wavelet bi‐frames with uniform symmetry are discussed in this paper. Every refinable function in the bi‐frame system is symmetric, which is very useful in the image processing and curve and surface multiresolution processing. By the aid of the lifting scheme, bi‐frame multiresolution algorithms can be divided into several iterative steps, and each step can be shown by a symmetric template. The template‐based procedure is established for constructing bi‐frames with uniform symmetry and N > 2 generators. In particular, we take the bi‐frame with three generators as an example to provide a clearer picture of the template‐based procedure for constructing bi‐frames. Three types of bi‐frames with three generators are studied, and some examples with certain smoothness are constructed. These examples include some bi‐frames with interpolating property.
