A New 3D Four-Wing Chaotic System with Cubic Nonlinearity and Its Circuit Implementation

A new 3D four-wing smooth autonomous chaotic system in which each equation contains a cubic product term is presented and physically implemented. Spectral analysis shows that the four-wing chaotic attractor has extremely wide frequency bandwidth compared with that of the Lorenz system and other four-wing chaotic systems, which is important in some relevant engineering applications such as secure communications.

High-Current Multi-Finger Mesa InGaAs/InP DHBTs

Characteristics of single- and multi-finger mesa InGaAs/InP double heterojunction bipolar transistors （DHBTs） are compared. The current gain decreases with the increasing number nf of the emitter fingers due to the mutual thermal interaction between the fingers. The Kirk current can be as high as 150mA for four-finger DHBT. No degradation of the peak of the current gain cutoff frequency ft is found for multi-finger DHBTs. The peak of the maximum oscillation frequency fmax decreases with an increase of nf due to the increasing parasitic resistance of the base. The results are very helpful for applications of the common-base DHBTs in power amplifiers operating at very high frequencies.     

Analysis of ultra-short pulse shaping with programmable amplitude and phase masks

Specified ultra-short pulse waveforms could be synthesized with high-resolution zero-dispersion pulse shaping system.The system and parameters are analyzed and discussed.The pulse shaping system with optimized parameters could resolve the frequency components of ultra-broad bandwidth pulse and prevent the spatial shaping of individual frequency components.The specified waveforms,Meyer wavelet and square root raised cosine pulses,are generated with programmable amplitude and phase masks.     

一种提高频率选择表面通带透射比的新方法

为得到带宽较窄且透射比较高的频率选择表面(FSS)结构,以Y环单元为基础提出了一种提高通带透射比的新方法,即在周期单元内设置圆形孔径,运用谱域Galerkin方法对这种结构的传输特性进行了数值分析,确定R=0.4 mm,单元周期内圆孔个数为12,中心频点15 GHz的透射比提高0.12 dB;采用镀膜与光刻相结合的技术...     

Rainbow trapping based on long-range plasmonic Bragg gratings at telecom frequencies

The group velocity of long-range surface plasmon polaritons (LRSPPs) in a wide frequency bandwidth at infrared frequencies is significantly reduced by dielectric gratings of graded thickness on both sides of a thin metal film. This structure can reduce the propagation loss of slow surface plasmons in "rainbow trapping" systems based on plasmonic Bragg gratings. Compared with dielectric gratings of graded thickness on a single side of a metal film, the proposed structure is able to guide slow light with a much longer propagation distance for the same group index factor. Finite- difference time-domain simulation results show that slow LRSPPs with the group velocity of c/14.5 and the propagation distance of 10.4 μm are achieved in dielectric gratings of uniform thickness on both sides of a thin metal film at 1.62 μm.     

Morlet小波在确定局部周期中的应用

本文通过引入改进的Morlet小波变换核函数,得到了等幅值的Morlet小波变换(MMWT)和功率谱(MMPS).理论及实验均表明,MMPS不但能够准确的确定信号的局部周期,而且使相同振幅(强度)的谐波产生了相同大小的MMPS,弥补了MPS的不足.对于MMWT还给出了相应的Morlet小波变换尺度与频率转化公式.     

随机交配群体两对连锁杂合基因频率的演变模型

用差分方程组建立具有两对连锁杂合基因的随机交配群体4种基因10种基因型频率逐代演变的数学模型,把它们看成影射,发现不动点集位于一个超平面与一个超曲面的交集.超平面具有类似分岔点的性质,故逐代计算中需进行归一化处理.对育种工作中在哪一代选种有指导意义.     

Active TLCGD control of plane asymmetric buildings under earthquake excitation

The sealed,tuned liquid column gas damper (TLCGD) with gas-spring effect extends the frequency range of application and efficiently increases the modal structural damping.Active tuned liquid column gas damper (ATLCGD) is developed for the vibration control of plane asymmetric buildings subjected to earthquake excitation,improving the performance of the passive control scheme.The active behaviour is obtained by adjusting the pressure at the end of the liquid column using a pressurised reservoir.The classical linear quadratic regulator (LQR) design is presented as a straightforward approach to optimal control.Numerical simulations indicate a significant vibration reduction of plane asymmetric buildings by active control within the strong motion of the dynamic response.
