Quantum communication is a new technology requiring a stable and reliable laser source for communication security. A new kind of polarization-locked vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) with polarization maintaining (PM) fiber pigtail is fabricated as a decoy state laser source. The VCSEL is packaged in a standard butterfly box integrated with thermoelectric coder (TEC) and thermistor. The optical pulse width of full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) is smaller than 400 ps with a 100-MHz on/off modulation frequency. The results reveal that modulation range is better than 4. Moreover, the polarization is stable, and the power extinction ratio is larger than 25. The center wavelength is 850 nm, and the SMSR is better than 40 dB.  相似文献

A novel fiber-optic current sensing scheme is proposed by converting the Faraday rotation to the optical signal's degree of polarization (DOP) change. In this scheme, the lightwave passes through a fiber resonant cavity multiply and experiences Faraday rotation simultaneously. Its main merit is immunity from the environment disturbance to the fiber used in ordinary Faraday rotation sensor. Brief theoretical analysis and simulation are given to show its basic characteristics. Experimental results are demonstrated and the feasibility of the proposed method is also shown.  相似文献

采用AgNO3和KNO3混和熔盐作为离子交换源,在K9玻璃上制备了跑道形波导谐振腔滤波器。利用ASE宽带光源和光谱仪对器件特性进行了测试,得到的该滤波器自由光谱范围为0.176nm。对比对Cr=4dB和3dB带宽δλ=0.13nm来说,耦合系数和传输损耗分别为к=0.9和α=3.2dB/cm。测试了环形腔的热光调相特性,在16℃的变化范围内实现了2π的相移。通过分析,波导材料的热光系数约为1.49×10-5/℃。该滤波器不仅可用于滤波、传感等领域,而且也可与其它波导结构相结合实现新的功能。  相似文献

基于遗传算法设计了斜边三角形光纤光栅(EFBG)的折射率调制函数;提出了光纤外径沿轴向变化、在拉应力下可获得可调谐的斜边三角形光纤光栅;计算分析了该器件多个物理参量对反射光谱的影响。在实验中,采用紫外激光扫描辐照方法,制备了短波边斜边带宽为0.7nm、反射率为96%的斜边三角形光纤光栅;采用程序控制氢氟酸腐蚀方法获得外径从原始62.5μm减小到45μm、在85mm长度内按设计要求变化的光纤光栅。对该光纤光栅施加从。到1.715N变化的拉力时,其反射光谱短波边的斜边带宽从0.7nm增加到2.3nm,实现了一种带宽大范围可调的斜边光纤光栅。  相似文献

提出了一种光纤布喇格光栅的铝槽封装工艺,并对铝槽封装光纤光栅传感器的应变与温度传感特性进行了实验研究和理论分析.与裸光纤光栅的测试结果比较表明,铝槽封装工艺基本不改变光纤光栅应变传感的灵敏性,但是温度灵敏度系数提高了3.5倍.经过该工艺封装的光纤光栅可以探测识别0.2 με的应变与0.02℃的温度变化.  相似文献

A novel beam-steering external cavity diode laser using an intracavity lead lanthanum zirconate titanate(PLZT) electro-optic ceramic deflector is proposed and demonstrated experimentally.The laser consists of a semiconductor laser with single mode fiber coupled output,polarization controller,PLZT electro-optic ceramic deflector,and output concave mirror.By applying proper driven electrical signals on the PLZT electro-optic deflector,the beam deflection angle achieves 5.8 mrad at 1 000 V.A high-speed beam-steering property with less than 120-ns switching time is also observed.Moreover,a good beam quality with Gaussian spatial profile and a linear polarization state are obtained.  相似文献

The X-ray spectrometer used in high-energy-density plasma experiments generally requires both broad X-ray energy coverage and high temporal, spatial, and spectral resolutions for overcoming the difficulties imposed by the X-ray back- ground, debris, and mechanical shocks. By using an elliptical crystal together with a streak camera, we resolve this issue at the SG-II laser facility. The carefully designed elliptical crystal has a broad spectral coverage with high resolution, strong rejection of the diffuse and/or fluorescent background radiation, and negligible source broadening for extended sources. The spectra that are Bragg reflected (23° 〈 θ 〈 38°) from the crystal are focused onto a streak camera slit 18 mm long and about 80 μm wide, to obtain a time-resolved spectrum. With experimental measurements, we demonstrate that the quartz(1011) elliptical analyzer at the SG-II laser facility has a single-shot spectral range of (4.64-6.45) keV, a typical spectral resolution of E/△E = 560, and an enhanced focusing power in the spectral dimension. For titanium (Ti) data, the lines of interest show a distribution as a function of time and the temporal variations of the He-α and Li-like Ti satellite lines and their spatial profiles show intensity peak red shifts. The spectrometer sensitivity is illustrated with a temporal resolution of better than 25 ps, which satisfies the near-term requirements of high-energy-density physics experiments.  相似文献

采用AgNO3、KNO3混和熔盐作为离子交换源,在K9玻璃上制备了跑道形谐振腔滤波器。测试得到该滤波器的自由光谱范围为0.178 nm,两个输出端口的衬比度分别为1.47 dB和6.5 dB,分析得到耦合器的分束比和谐振腔的传输损耗分别为к=0.16和α=8.1 dB/cm。利用热光效应在16℃的温度变化范围内,滤波器实现了2π的相位调制,同时分析得到波导材料的热光系数约为1.28×10-5/℃。  相似文献

提出了一种采用光纤光栅滤波器获得具有一定间隔双波长成分的光脉冲光谱实现毫米波副载波光信号产生的方法。利用逆工程算法,设计了一种变迹叠栅(Moiré)光纤光栅滤波器,给出了相应的模拟结果;并在实验上初步制作了相应的光纤光栅滤波器,验证其可行性。同时基于所设计的光纤光栅和波分复用技术,提出了一种频移键控光纤无线通信系统Radio Over Fiber系统,为下一代的高速大容量的光纤无线通信系统系统提供一种可行的备选解决方案。  相似文献
