In this study, a bilinear cohesive zone model is employed to describe the transformation toughening behavior of a slowly propagating crack along an interface between a shape memory alloy and a linear elastic or elasto-plastic isotropic material. Small scale transformation zones and plane strain conditions are assumed. The crack growth is numerically simulated within a finite element scheme and its transformation toughening is obtained by means of resistance curves. It is found that the choice of the cohesive strength t0 and the stress intensity factor phase angle φ greatly influence the toughening behavior of the bimaterial. The presented methodology is generalized for the case of an interface crack between a fiber reinforced shape memory alloy composite and a linear elastic, isotropic material. The effect of the cohesive strength t0, as well as the fiber volume fraction are examined. 相似文献

边坡工程施工中常用到预裂爆破,预裂爆破参数对爆破降震起着非常重要的作用。通过大量的预裂爆破试验,得出了适用于该边坡的炮孔直径、炮孔间距、线装药密度、不耦合系数等一系列常规预裂爆破参数。通过ANSYS/LS-DYNA数值模拟,得出了与4种炮孔直径对应的理想的预裂爆破参数,且与爆破试验的结果基本一致。通过回归分析,得出了用于该边坡选取预裂爆破参数的简易公式,用以指导该工程的后续施工。实践证明,采用爆破试验与数值模拟相结合的方法,对于爆破参数的优化选择,效果明显。 相似文献

有杆抽油系统悬点示功图的特征参数是合理选择地面机电设备的主要依据.由于井下工况的复杂性和部分参数难以确定,使得基于求解高维时变非线性方程的传统方法的计算结果存在偏差.本文将传统方法和神经网络相结合,给出了一种能比较精确地确定定向井有杆抽油系统悬点示功图特征参数的方法,避免了建立和求解复杂的非线性动力学方程.首先依据传统方法,计算出简化悬点示功图的特征参数.然后考虑抽油杆柱弹性振动、抽油杆与油管之问的库仑和粘性摩擦、气体和供液能力等因素的影响,利用BP神经网络和RBF神经网络建立了不同工况下悬点示功图特征参数的计算模型.利用现场实测数据对建立的神经网络进行了训练和测试.测试结果表明了本文方法的正确性和有效性. 相似文献

Both linear-spring-dashpot (LSD) and non-linear Hertzian-spring-dashpot (HSD) contact models are commonly used for the calculation of contact forces in Discrete Element Method (DEM) simulations of granular systems. Despite the popularity of these models, determination of suitable values for the contact parameters of the simulated particles such as stiffness, damping coefficient, coefficient of restitution, and simulation time step, is not altogether obvious. In this work the relationships between these contact parameters for a model system where a particle impacts on a flat base are examined. Shape memory alloys (SMAs) provide an attractive solid-state actuation alternative to engineers in various fields due to their ability to exhibit recoverable deformations while under substantial loads. Many constitutive models describing this repeatable phenomenon have been proposed, where some models also capture the effects of rate-independent irrecoverable deformations (i.e., plasticity) in SMAs. In this work, we consider a topic not addressed to date: the generation and evolution of irrecoverable viscoplastic strains in an SMA material. Such strains appear in metals subjected to sufficiently high temperatures. The need to account for these effects in SMAs arises when considering one of two situations: the exposure of a conventional SMA material (e.g., NiTi) to high temperatures for a non-negligible amount of time, as occurs during shape-setting, or the utilization of new high temperature shape memory alloys (HTSMAs), where the elevated transformation temperatures induce transformation and viscoplastic behaviors simultaneously. A new three-dimensional constitutive model based on established SMA and viscoplastic modeling techniques is derived that accounts for these behaviors. The numerical implementation of the model is described in detail. Several finite element analysis (FEA) examples are provided, demonstrating the utility of the new model and its implementation in assessing the effects of viscoplastic behaviors in shape memory alloys. 相似文献

This study examined the constitutive modeling of shape memory polyurethanes (SMPUs). SMPUs exhibit a thermo-responsive shape memory behavior, i.e., a thermally fixed temporary shape at a low temperature that returns to its original (permanent) shape when heated. This unique property arises from the molecular configuration of their hard and soft segments; the latter can form a variable state ranging from a rubbery (active) to rigid (frozen) phase according to temperature, while the former undergoes little deformation and acts as a fixed net between the soft segments. In this study, a three-phase phenomenological model (one hard segment phase and two (active and frozen) soft segment phases) was developed to describe the deformation behavior of SMPUs according to their microstructure. The stress and strain relationships of each phase are described mathematically using one three-element viscoelastic and two Mooney–Rivlin hyperelastic equations, respectively. The total stress was calculated by combining those equations via some internal variables that can track the volume fractions of the active and frozen phases and a non-mechanical frozen strain. For validation, the cyclic thermo-mechanical behavior of a SMPU was predicted. These predictions were compared with the experimental results with reasonable agreement between them. 相似文献

为充分利用成组疲劳试验数据和疲劳强度试验数据,获得较高精度的P-S-N曲线,提出了一种建立P-S-N曲线的双加权最小二乘法。该方法充分考虑了疲劳试验方法、疲劳试验数据分散性和试件样本容量对P-S-N曲线建立的影响,构建了不同来源误差的分配模型。它首先利用疲劳试验的最小样本容量判据处理成组试验数据,导出试验数据分布p分位点的置信区间长度,并进行第一次加权拟合。再结合疲劳强度试验数据,进行第二次加权拟合,推导出了任意可靠度下的P-S-N曲线。作者对17组金属材料和PMMA(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯)材料进行了统计分析以验证所建立的P-S-N曲线的拟合能力、合理性和预测精度,结果表明建立的P-S-N曲线具有较高的精度和可信度。 相似文献
