Stability of Conjugated Carbon Nanocones

We use interlacing techniques to prove that carbon nanocones who have a Fries Kekulé structure have closed Hückel shells, and that this result can be extended to all conjugated cones where each edge belongs to a hexagonal face and the configuration of the non-hexagonal faces are consistent with a Fries Kekulé structure. Cones with Fries Kekulé structure or substructure are topical—not only from a valence bond theoretical point of view—since a previous ab initioanalysis favored cones where the pentagons at the tip are configured as in a Fries Kekulé structure. The question of interdependence will therefore be addressed.     

Kolbe Synthesis on a Platinum Anode Modified with Thiocyanate Ions

The Kolbe synthesis on a smooth platinum anode modified with thiocyanate ions is studied in acetate buffer solutions. The modification is shown to result in the oxidation of carboxylate ions to percarboxylate ions. The peracetate formation is proved in a preparative synthesis where it is isolated and identified using IR spectroscopy.     

The number of simple modules of a cellular algebra

Let n be a natural number, and let A be an indecomposable cellular algebra such that the spectrum of its Cartan matrix C is of the form {n, 1, …., 1}. In general, not every natural number could be the number of non-isomorphic simple modules over such a cellular algebra. Thus, two natural questions arise: (1) which numbers could be the number of non-isomorphic simple modules over such a cellular algebra A ? (2) Given such a number, is there a cellular algebra such that its Cartan matrix has the desired property ? In this paper, we shall completely answer the first question, and give a partial answer to the second question by constructing cellular algebras with the pre-described Cartan matrix.

利用算子的一致可逆性质,定义了一个新的谱集,分别给出了有界线性算子满足(ω)性质的充分条件和必要条件,并在此基础上得到算子与其算子演算满足(ω)性质的判定条件。     

Intensity fluctuations in thermal light with orthogonally polarised multiple-peak spectrum

The moment generating function of the integrated light intensity of thermal radiation having multiple peak spectrum is obtained. Cases of two-peak and three-peak spectra where different peaks are in orthogonal states of polarisation are considered. The moment generating function is shown to be the product of two simpler generating functions.     

IR Properties of Randomly Sea Surfaces

Sea surfaces should be considered as randomly rough surfaces at the infrared(IR) and optical bands. The geometric model of sea surfaces has been obtained by using image processing. Based on the electromagnetic scattering theory, the Laser Radar Cross Section(LRCS) for the sea surfaces is analyzed at IR band and the scattering properties of the sea surfaces have been gotten.     

C－半群的谱与其生成元谱之间的关系

本文首次给出了Ｃ－半群的预解集和谱的概念，得到了Ｃ－半群的谱与其生成元谱的一系列结果．     

非简并双光子Jaynes-Cummings模型腔场谱中的量子干涉

研究了两模二项式光场与二能级原子在高Q腔中发生双光子相互作用过程的腔场谱,给出了弱初始场条件下腔场谱的数值计算结果,讨论了两模腔场谱间的量子干涉.结果表明:两模腔场谱间的量子干涉随着频差的增大而呈现出周期性的衰减振荡,其振荡周期约为0·16g(g为原子与光场的相互作用强度系数),频差大于1·6g时干涉效应已经很弱.量子干涉还与初始场强度有关,随着初始场最大光子数的增加,量子干涉效应逐渐增强,但当光子数大于4时,干涉效应迅速减弱,当最大光子数大于6时,量子干涉现象几乎消失.     

零势场中变质量粒子的束缚能谱

结合点正则变换(PCT)与分析转移矩阵(ATM)两种方法,得到了零势场中变质量粒子的束缚能谱.通过计算变质量粒子穿透零势场的概率,发现并解释了透射谱中共振峰与本征能量的一一对应关系.
