In this paper, we investigate excited characteristic of the weakly interacting quasi-one-dimensional (11)) and quasi-two-dimensional (2D) Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) in harmonic potential trap. The energ3, spectrum and the analytical expression of the sound velocity are obtained and analyzed. Compared with 3-Dimensional homogeneous Bose-condensed gas occasion, the sound velocity of 21) Bose-Einstein condensation in harmonic potential trap is smaller.  相似文献

An overview of the physics of spinor and dipolar Bose–Einstein condensates (BECs) is given. Mean-field ground states, Bogoliubov spectra, and many-body ground and excited states of spinor BECs are discussed. Properties of spin-polarized dipolar BECs and those of spinor–dipolar BECs are reviewed. Some of the unique features of the vortices in spinor BECs such as fractional vortices and non-Abelian vortices are delineated. The symmetry of the order parameter is classified using group theory, and various topological excitations are investigated based on homotopy theory. Some of the more recent developments in a spinor BEC are discussed.  相似文献

The dynamical phenomena of the Landau–Zener tunneling of the superfluid fermi gases in a double-well potential in deep BEC regime is investigated in this paper. The contribution of the higher order term representing the lowest approximation of beyond mean field corrections is considered. By using the corresponding classical Hamiltonian of the system, the fixed points and adiabatic energy levels are studied. The critical parameter for the number of fixed points evolution from two to four is obtained. For the nonlinear Landau–Zener tunneling, the tunneling probability with sweeping rate αα is numerically given. At the adiabatic limit, the tunneling probability is not zero in certain regime, while it goes to zero in the other regime. Exponential dependence of the transition probability on the sweeping rate αα in certain case is obtained.  相似文献

综述了近年来有关蒸发冷却133Cs原子样品的实验进展,分析了磁囚禁133Cs原子玻色爱因斯坦凝聚(BEC)的困难,并在此基础上提出了一个全光型冷却与囚禁133Cs原子BEC的新方案.该方案主要由一个来自半导体激光(λ=0852μm)的倒金字塔形中空光束重力光学囚禁(pyramidal-hollow-beam gravito-optical trap,缩写为PHB GOT)和一个来自Ar+激光(λ=05013μm)的圆锥形中空光束重力光学囚禁(conical-hollow-beam gravito-optical trap,缩写为CHB GOT)组成.在PHB GOT中,冷原子经历了一个有效的中空光束感应的Sisyphus冷却(也即强度梯度冷却)和抽运光感应的几何冷却,原子温度将被从磁光囚禁(MOT)温度(约为60μK)冷却至几个光子反冲极限(约为2μK);而在Ar+中空光束囚禁(CHB GOT)中,冷原子将被Raman冷却或速度选择相干粒子数囚禁技术(velocity-selection coherent population trap,缩写为VSCPT)进一步冷却至光子反冲极限以下,并被激光频率高于原子共振频率的(也即蓝失谐的)covering光束压缩.我们就PHB冷却的动力学过程进行了Monte-Carlo模拟,并计算了Ar+中空光束囚禁133Cs原子的光学势.研究结果表明,实现一个全光学冷却与囚禁的133Cs原子BEC是可能的 关键词: 倒金字塔型中空光束重力光学囚禁 强度梯度冷却 氩离子中空光束囚禁 喇曼冷却 铯原子BEC  相似文献

对于束缚在双阱中的两组分玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚体,本文研究了基于光缔合机制形成分子的过程中,量子隧穿所起的作用.该双阱外势可以在实验上利用磁场生成的谐振子势和由蓝失谐光或射频源生成的中心势垒来实现.在合适的光场中,我们分析了系统在不同初始状态下的短时极限量子动力学,同时对系统做了在平均场近似下的数值计算分析.我们发现无论是隧穿强度还是初始状态的制备都对系统的动力学有很大的影响.我们还计算了同核分子在这些情况下的结果,并和异核分子计算的结果作了比较.量子化的光缔合光场在分子形成过程的影响也在文章中给予了讨论.  相似文献

The Gross--Pitaevskii equation which describes the motion of a Bose--Einstein condensed (BEC) atom in an elongated trap is solved analytically, and a solitary-wave solution is obtained in the low-density case without neglecting the effect of the interatomic interaction on the transverse function. It is shown that this effect leads to the velocity of the solitary wave slowing down and the profile of the solitary wave widening.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the condensate fraction (CF) of fermionic pairs in the BCS-BEC crossover for three- component Fermi gas with both asymmetric interactions and unequal chemical potentials in two-dimensional free space. By using the functional-path-integral method, we have analytically derived the number densities and bound-state energy, from which the off-diagonal long-range order is analyzed in terms of the asymptotic behavior of the two-body density matrix. The explicit formula of CF is obtained as a function of the bound-state energy and population imbalance. It is demonstrated that the CF spectrum with respect to the bound-state energy can be used to characterize the quantum phase transition between the two kinds of Sarma phases as well as the transition from three-component to two-component superfluid. Moreover we obtain the same analytic formula of CF in the BCS superfluid phase as that of homogeneous Fermi gas with equal chemical potentials.  相似文献

Atomic Bose–Einstein condensates (BECs) can be viewed as macroscopic objects where atoms form correlated atom clusters to all orders. Therefore, the presence of a BEC makes the direct use of the cluster-expansion approach–lucrative e.g. in semiconductor quantum optics–inefficient when solving the many-body kinetics of a strongly interacting Bose. An excitation picture is introduced with a nonunitary transformation that describes the system in terms of atom clusters within the normal component alone. The nontrivial properties of this transformation are systematically studied, which yields a cluster-expansion friendly formalism for a strongly interacting Bose gas. Its connections and corrections to the standard Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov approach are discussed and the role of the order parameter and the Bogoliubov excitations are identified. The resulting interaction effects are shown to visibly modify number fluctuations of the BEC. Even when the BEC has a nearly perfect second-order coherence, the BEC number fluctuations can still resolve interaction-generated non-Poissonian fluctuations.  相似文献
