Experimental evidence for anisotropic response of a driven vortex lattice

We present kinetic inductance measurements in current driven Josephson junction arrays. Measurements performed with circular coils indicate that this technique is very sensitive to the vortex mobility. Results obtained with anisotropic detection coils provide experimental evidence for the anisotropic response of a driven vortex lattice. Anisotropic behavior is obtained when rising the temperature or the mean vortex velocity as indicated by the loss of the superconducting shielding capability, first in the direction of vortex motion and then in the perpendicular direction.     

Analytical study of a flattened Gaussian beam through multi-apertured optical imaging systems of B = 0

By using the methods of the matrix decomposition and expansion of the hard-edged aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, the recurrence propagation expressions for a flattened Gaussian beam (FGB) through multi-apertured optical imaging systems of B = 0 are derived and illustrated with numerical examples. Comparisons with the straightforward numerical integration of the Collins formula and with the previous work are made. It is shown that the main advantages of our methods and results are the more accuracy and great reduction of computer time.     

Duality Theory in Fuzzy Linear Programming Problems with Fuzzy Coefficients

The concept of fuzzy scalar (inner) product that will be used in the fuzzy objective and inequality constraints of the fuzzy primal and dual linear programming problems with fuzzy coefficients is proposed in this paper. We also introduce a solution concept that is essentially similar to the notion of Pareto optimal solution in the multiobjective programming problems by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all fuzzy numbers. We then prove the weak and strong duality theorems for fuzzy linear programming problems with fuzzy coefficients.     

An Improved Synthesis of Retinoic Acid from β-Ionone

A convenient and large-scale preparation of retinoic acid 1 from β-ionone in five steps with 38% overall yield is described.The key steps are the epoxidization of 2 with a new methylated agent and the condensation 4 with tetraethyl methylenediphophonate in one-pot procedure to prepare 6.     

Pressure induced transitions in calcium: a tight-binding approach

A tight-binding (TB) hamiltonian for calcium is built with a high precision parametrization technique based on density functional calculations of the energy bands and the total energy at various lattice volumes. The new set of TB parameters is appropriate to study phenomena under pressures as high as 20 GPa. Specifically, both the metal to nonmetal transition at 4 GPa and the structural transition fcc to bcc at 19 GPa are well reproduced. These transitions and several static properties are in excellent agreement with experiments. Phonon frequencies, plasmon energy, melting temperature and the coefficient of thermal expansion were calculated with a molecular dynamics scheme of this TB hamiltonian.

一种新的超分辨记录点的读出技术

提出一种新的超分辨记录点的读出技术—超分辨反射膜技术，详细分析了其原理。用该技术，以Sb为超分辨反射膜，SiN为介电层，在激光波长为632．8nm和光学头的数值也径为0．40的读出光学系统中实现了直径为380nm的超分辨记录点的读出。同时研究了Sb薄膜厚度对读出信噪比的影响规律，发现最佳的Sb薄膜厚度为28～30nm，所得的信噪比为38～40dB。
