Principle of temperature,velocity and pressure of upper atmospheric wind measurement for the Voigt profile

Using the accurate expression of the Fourier transform of the pure Voigt spectral line profile, we present the principle of the passive optical method to measure temperature, velocity, and pressure of atmospheric wind for the Voigt profile. Through discussion, from the Gaussian, Lorentzian and Voigt profiles, we find that velocity will not be affected, pressure can be derived for Lorentzian and Voigt profiles, and temperature will be affected greatly. By simulation and comparison, we find that temperature derived from the Voigt profile is greater than that from the Gaussian profile, and it is less than that from the Lorentzian profile. This discussion will be significant in accurate upper atmospheric wind measurement.

Traveling wavefronts in diffusive and cooperative Lotka-Volterra system with delays

Existence of traveling wave front solutions is established for diffusive and cooperative Lotka-Volterra system with delays. The result is an extension of an existing result for delayed logistic scaler equation to systems, and is somewhat parallel to the existing result for diffusive and competitive Lotka-Volterra systems without delay. The approach used in this paper is the upper-lower solution technique and the monotone iteration recently developed by Wu and Zou (J. Dynam. Differential Equations 13 (2001) 651-687) for delayed reaction-diffusion systems without the so-called quasimonotonicity.

混合超图是含有两类超边的超图,一类称为C-超边,一类称为D-超边,它们的区别主要体现在染色要求上．混合超图的染色,要求每一C-超边至少有两个点染相同的颜色,而每一D-超边至少有两个点染不同的颜色．所用的最大颜色数称为对应混合超图的上色数,所用的最小颜色数称为对应混合超图的下色数．上、下色数与边数有密切关系．作者在文献[2]中证明了具有最小上色数的3一致C-超图边数的一个下界为‘n(n-2)/3’,其中n为对应混合超图的顶点数．该文证明当n=2k 1时,该下界是可以达到的．

Calcul à la rupture en présence d'un écoulement : formulation cinématique avec un champ de pression approchéYield design formulation for porous media subjected to flow,using approximate pressure field

We attempt here to use the kinematic method of yield design in the case of a porous medium subjected to flow (with or without free surface), without looking for the exact solution of the pressure field. The method proposed here is based on the use of approximate pressure fields. In this paper, we show how, under different conditions concerning the yield criterion and the velocity field, the use of such approximate fields allows one to obtain a necessary condition for stability without having to find the real pressure field. Nonlinear boundary value problem of first order impulsive functional differential equations

This paper discusses nonlinear boundary value problem for first order impulsive functional differential equations. We establish several existence results by using the lower and upper solutions and monotone iterative techniques. Two examples are discussed to illustrate the efficiency of the obtained results.
