Fixed point properties for nonexpansive representations of topological semigroups

In this paper, we study a fixed point and a nonlinear ergodic properties for an amenable semigroup of nonexpansive mappings on a nonempty subset of a Hilbert space.

Fixed point theorems and convergence theorems for some generalized nonexpansive mappings

We introduce some condition on mappings. The condition is weaker than nonexpansiveness and stronger than quasinonexpansiveness. We present fixed point theorems and convergence theorems for mappings satisfying the condition.     

On a hybrid method for a family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space

We prove strong convergence theorems by the hybrid method given by Takahashi, Takeuchi, and Kubota for a family of relatively nonexpansive mappings under weaker conditions. The method of the proof is different from the original one and it shows that the type of projection used in the iterative method is independent of the properties of the mappings. We also deal with the problem of finding a zero of a maximal monotone operator and obtain a strong convergence theorem using this method.     

Convergence of non-cyclic infinite products of operators

Using a geometric approach (in particular, angles between subspaces), we establish useful estimates regarding convergence of infinite products involving orthogonal projections and other (possibly nonlinear) nonexpansive operators in Hilbert space.

Some fixed point results on L-embedded Banach spaces

In this paper we prove that w-fixed point property and w^★-fixed point property are equivalent concepts for L-embedded Banach spaces which are duals of M-embedded spaces. Similar results will be obtained with respect to the normal structure. These equivalences will be applied to establish new fixed point results for different examples. We will also prove the existence of fixed points for both nonexpansive and asymptotically regular mappings defined on subsets of L-embedded Banach spaces which are sequentially compact for the abstract measure topology. We will check that our results do not hold in the case of the weak topology.     

Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive semigroup in Banach spaces

Let K be a nonempty closed convex subset of a reflexive and strictly convex Banach space E with a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm, and a nonexpansive self-mappings semigroup of K, and a fixed contractive mapping. The strongly convergent theorems of the following implicit and explicit viscosity iterative schemes {xn} are proved.
