A study has been carried out to compare results obtained from pore-level simulations conducted on three-dimensional idealized spherical-void-phase geometric models to similar results obtained from a solver based on volume-averaging and local thermal non-equilibrium. The purpose of the comparison is to establish closure coefficients for the viscous and form drag terms in the volume-averaged momentum equations and the interstitial convective exchange coefficient required to couple the volume-averaged energy equations for the solid and fluid constituents. A method is also described for determining the solid-phase conduction shape factor, which is shown to be important for accurate volume-average simulation of highly conductive porous materials. The shape factor has been addressed in previous literature (using various terminology) and accounts in a bulk manner for resistance due to the elongated conduction path and for changes in the effective heat flow area along the conduction path. The conduction shape factor is a function of the geometry only and is found herein from a detailed comparison between pore-level and volume-averaged simulations of conjugate heat transfer. The conduction shape factor vastly improves volume-averaged predictions of the overall heat transfer and the temperature distributions in the porous material.  相似文献

1-Methyl-3,4-dihydroquinoxalin-2(1H)-one was heated with a range of aldehydes to generate intermediate azomethine ylides which underwent [3 + 2] cycloaddition reactions with N-methyl or N-phenylmaleimide to give substituted tetrahydropyrroloquinoxalinones. Only one (racemic) stereoisomer was formed in each case and the stereochemical outcome was verified by single crystal X-ray analysis. The products from this multicomponent reaction could be oxidised with DDQ to the pyrroloquinoxalinones.  相似文献

The structure of a constrained bicyclic chiral derivatizing agent (CDA), 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,4-epoxynaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid, THENA 1, was modified by replacing both exo-methylene protons with deuterium atoms. The modified CDA, THENA-d22, could be used to assign the absolute configuration of chiral secondary alcohols with good reliability. Compared with THENA, the multiplicity of the methylene proton signals in the 1H NMR spectra of THENA-d2 derivatives is less complicated and the new CDA thus offers simpler NMR spectra for data interpretation.  相似文献

Side‐effects from allograft, limited bone stock, and site morbidity from autograft are the major challenges to traditional bone defect treatments. With the advance of tissue engineering, hydrogel injection therapy is introduced as an alternative treatment. Therapeutic drugs and growth factors can be carried by hydrogels and delivered to patients. Abaloparatide, as an analog of human recombinant parathyroid hormone protein (PTHrp) and an alternative to teriparatide, has been considered as a drug for treating postmenopausal osteoporosis since 2017. Since only limited cases of receiving abaloparatide with polymeric scaffolds have been reported, the effects of abaloparatide on pre‐osteoblast MC3T3‐E1 are investigated in this study. It is found that in vitro abaloparatide treatment can promote pre‐osteoblast MC3T3‐E1 cells’ viability, differentiation, and mineralization significantly. For the drug delivery system, 3D porous structure of the methacrylated gelatin (GelMA) hydrogel is found effective for prolonging the release of abaloparatide (more than 10 days). Therefore, injectable photo‐crosslinked GelMA hydrogel is used in this study to prolong the release of abaloparatide and to promote healing of defected bones in rats. Overall, data collected in this study show no contradiction and imply that Abaloparatide‐loaded GelMA hydrogel is effective in stimulating bone regeneration.  相似文献

The crystal structure of methyl α‐d ‐mannopyranosyl‐(1→3)‐2‐O‐acetyl‐β‐d ‐mannopyranoside monohydrate, C15H26O12·H2O, ( II ), has been determined and the structural parameters for its constituent α‐d ‐mannopyranosyl residue compared with those for methyl α‐d ‐mannopyranoside. Mono‐O‐acetylation appears to promote the crystallization of ( II ), inferred from the difficulty in crystallizing methyl α‐d ‐mannopyranosyl‐(1→3)‐β‐d ‐mannopyranoside despite repeated attempts. The conformational properties of the O‐acetyl side chain in ( II ) are similar to those observed in recent studies of peracetylated mannose‐containing oligosaccharides, having a preferred geometry in which the C2—H2 bond eclipses the C=O bond of the acetyl group. The C2—O2 bond in ( II ) elongates by ~0.02 Å upon O‐acetylation. The phi (?) and psi (ψ) torsion angles that dictate the conformation of the internal O‐glycosidic linkage in ( II ) are similar to those determined recently in aqueous solution by NMR spectroscopy for unacetylated ( II ) using the statistical program MA′AT, with a greater disparity found for ψ (Δ = ~16°) than for ? 本文采用激光爆破法高能原子氧束源研究了纳米粘土增强环氧树脂复合材料的抗原子氧性能. 研究了四种样品:纯环氧树脂,纳米粘土含量为1 wt%,2 wt%和4 wt%的纳米粘土增强环氧树脂复合材料,结果表明腐蚀深度随着纳米粘土含量的增加而降低,当掺杂纳米粘土含量为4 wt%时,腐蚀深度为纯环氧树脂腐蚀深度的28%∽37%;X射线光电子能谱(XPS)分析表明原子氧轰击后,材料表面C-C/C-H键比例减少,C-O键、酮类比例增加,表面氧化程度增加,掺杂纳米粘土的材料表面生成了新的碳酸盐,掺杂4 wt%纳米粘土的复合材料表面氧化程度增加最小;扫描电子显微镜(SEM)结果显示含有纳米粘土的复合材料表面被原子氧轰击后在纳米粘土团簇处形成了“块状”物质,掺杂4 wt%纳米粘土的复合材料,“块状”物质尺寸和分布密度最大;综合腐蚀深度,XPS,以及SEM结果表明,虽然所有表面都一定程度地被原子氧腐蚀和氧化,但掺杂纳米粘土的复合材料表面由于生成了“块状”物质,阻挡了原子氧进一步腐蚀其下的材料,提高了抗原子氧性能.  相似文献

The influences of the molar mass (low, medium, and high) and content of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVOH) dispersed by melt-blending in an ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer on the morphology, microstructure, thermal, mechanical, and oxygen barrier properties were investigated. Multilayer films with external low-density polyethylene layers and inner EVOH/PVOH blend layer and respective monolayer films were elaborated and characterized. EVOH/PVOH blends exhibited a good compatibility because of the initial presence of PVOH segments in EVOH. The detailed quantitative analysis of the morphology performed for all blends showed that the finest dispersion was obtained with the PVOH with the lowest molar mass. The properties of the films as a function of the PVOH content and its molar mass were determined herein. Significant improvement of barrier properties was obtained at moderated water activities (up to aw = 0.6) by using the PVOH with the lowest molar mass. Compared to the neat EVOH material, the oxygen permeability coefficients decreased by a factor 2 by adding 15 vol% PVOH while the thermal and mechanical properties remained similar.  相似文献
