In this paper, we consider a generalized model of the two friction models, both of which have two different types of control forces with time-delayed feedback proposed by Ashesh Sara et al. By taking the time delay as the bifurcation parameter, we discuss the local stability of the Hopf bifurcations. Under some condition, the generalized model harbors a phenomenon that the equilibrium may undergo finite switches from stability to instability to stability and finally become unstable. By applying the method introduced by Faria and Magalhaes, we compute the normal form on the center manifold to determine the direction and stability of the Hopf bifurcations. Numerical simulations are carried out and more than one periodic solutions may exist according to the bifurcation diagram given by BIFTOOL. Finally a brief conclusion is presented. 相似文献

Current theories from biosocial (e.g., the role of neurotransmitters in behavioral features), ecological (e.g., cultural, political, and institutional conditions), and interpersonal (e.g., attachment) perspectives have grounded interpersonal and romantic relationships in normative social experiences. However, these theories have not been developed to the point of providing a solid theoretical understanding of the dynamics present in interpersonal and romantic relationships, and integrative theories are still lacking. In this paper, mathematical models are used to investigate the dynamics of interpersonal and romantic relationships, via ordinary and stochastic differential equations, in order to provide insight into the behaviors of love. The analysis starts with a deterministic model and progresses to nonlinear stochastic models capturing the stochastic rates and factors (e.g., ecological factors, such as historical, cultural and community conditions) that affect proximal experiences and shape the patterns of relationship. Numerical examples are given to illustrate various dynamics of interpersonal and romantic behaviors with particular emphases placed on sustained oscillations and transitions between locally stable equilibria that are observable in stochastic models (closely related to real interpersonal dynamics), but absent in deterministic models. 相似文献

Monte Carlo method was applied to simulate the oscillatory behavior during partial oxidation of methane under non-isothermal condition. The simulation was performed to examine the influences of heat transfer constant and particle size on the kinetic oscillation. The oscillatory period and amplitude were observed to increase with the increase of heat transfer constant. It is the first time so far as we know that two arrays of multi-channel soft x-ray detectors are used to generate twodimensional (2D) images of sawtooth oscillation on the HT-7 tokamak using the Fourier-Bessel harmonic reconstruction method, and using the singular value decomposition to analyse the data from soft x-ray cameras. By these two arrays, 2D image reconstruction of soft x-ray emissivity can be obtained without assumption of plasma rigid rotation. Tomographic reconstruction of the m=1 mode structure is obtained during the precursor oscillation of the sawtooth crash. The crescent-shaped mode structure appearing on the contour map of the soft x-ray emissivity is consistent with the quasiinterchange mode. The characteristics of the m=1/n=1 mode structure observed in the soft x-ray tomography are as follows: the magnetic surface is made up of the crescent-shaped “hot core” and the circular “cold bubble”. The structure of the magnetic surface rotates in the direction of the electron diamagnetic drift and the rotation frequency is the oscillation frequency of soft x-ray signals. 相似文献
