Micron grade boron-doped diamond crystals with octahedral morphology are successfully synthesized in a Fe-Ni- C-B system under high pressure and high temperature (HPHT). The effects of the additive boron on synthesis conditions, nucleation and growth, crystal morphology of diamond are studied. The synthesized micron grade diamond crystals were characterized by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. The research results show that the V-shaped section of synthetic diamond moves downwards to the utmost extent due to 0.3a wt% (a is a constant.) boron added in the synthesis system. The crystal colour is black, and the average crystal size is about 25μm. The crystal faces of synthetic diamond are mainly (111) face. The synthesis of this kind of diamond is few reported, and it will have important and widely applications. 相似文献

Improving the thermal stability of diamond and other superhard materials has great significance in various applications. Here, we report the synthesis and characterization of bulk diamond–cBN–B_4C–Si composites sintered at high pressure and high temperature(HPHT, 5.2 GPa, 1620–1680 K for 3–5 min). The results show that the diamond, cBN, B_4C,B_xSiC, SiO_2 and amorphous carbon or a little surplus Si are present in the sintered samples. The onset oxidation temperature of 1673 K in the as-synthesized sample is much higher than that of diamond, cBN, and B_4C. The high thermal stability is ascribed to the covalent bonds of B–C, C–N, and the solid-solution of B_xSiC formed during the sintering process. The results obtained in this work may be useful in preparing superhard materials with high thermal stability. 相似文献

Pyrite tailings are the main cause of acid mine wastewater. We propose an idea to more effectively use pyrite, and it is modified by exploiting the reducibility of metal represented by Al under high-pressure and high-temperature (HPHT) conditions. Upon increasing the Al addition, the conductivity of pyrite is effectively improved, which is nearly 734 times higher than that of unmodified pyrite at room temperature. First-principles calculations are used to determine the influence of a high pressure on the pyrite lattice. The high pressure increases the thermal stability of pyrite, reduces pyrite to high-conductivity Fe7S8 (pyrrhotite) by Al. Through hardness and density tests the influence of Al addition on the hardness and toughness of samples is explored. Finally we discuss the possibility of using other metal-reducing agents to improve the properties of pyrite. 相似文献

According to the interference theory of double-grating interferometers, the feature of Moire fringe imaging in each region is investigated and a novel micro-displacement measuring method based on optical path modulation is proposed. The basic measurement principle is that the displacement is measured through Moire fringe shifting, which is caused by the whole phased object thickness variation, in the case of non-relative movement of gratings. The object displacement measured can be changed into the phased object variation inserted in region Ⅱ using a mechanical arrangement. The principle of the micro-displacement measurement is analyzed theoretically. The light intensity of the distributing image in each interference region is given no matter whether we insert the phased object or not. The effect on the Moire fringe of the whole thickness variation of the phased object is also discussed. It is confirmed that the Moire fringe shifts with phased object variation by calculation with MATLAB. The experimental result proves that the resolution of this method is 2.1093 μm, and the resolution of the system is 0.5273μm after a four-subdivision circuit. 相似文献

运用有限元理论,基于ANSYS对国产六面顶压机的铰链梁、工作缸和销轴进行了接触分析。模型中首次引入销轴,约束销轴的运动,使凸耳处的载荷情况更接近实际工况,避免了对铰链梁和工作缸单独分析所进行的大量近似和简化。模拟结果表明:铰链梁上的vonMises应力峰值主要分布在凸耳内通孔处,最大应力值为348.32 MPa;工作缸上的von Mises应力峰值主要分布在工作缸底部圆弧处,最大应力值为242.87 MPa;应力峰值均低于许用应力(486.67 MPa)。模拟结果得到了大量高压实验的验证。 相似文献

There is a widespread interest in lead telluride (PbTe) as a good thermoelectric material. We report the temperature dependence of thermopower S(T) and resistance R(T) for PbTe at the different pressures of from 1.8GPa to 5 GPa obtained by using the cubic anvil high pressure apparatus. With increasing pressure, R(T) and S(T) decrease. The effect of pressure on R(T) is larger than that on S(T). The power factor that is determined by thermopower and resistivity increases with increasing pressure. This method is an efficient tool for synthesizing good thermoelectric materials at high pressure and high temperature. 相似文献

利用温度梯度法,在6.2—6.4 GPa,1270—1400℃条件下,通过在NiMnCo-C体系中添加不同比例的锌粉成功合成出3 mm左右的大尺寸金刚石单晶.研究了锌添加对金刚石颜色、形貌、内部氮杂质以及晶体结晶度的影响.结果表明:随着锌添加量逐渐增加,晶体的颜色逐渐变浅,晶体的透光性增强;当锌添加比例达到3 wt.%时,晶体表面出现大量不规则的凹坑;晶体内氮杂质主要以C心形式存在,随着锌添加量的增多晶体内氮含量逐渐降低,基于锌的除氮能力总结出两种可能的除氮机制;拉曼光谱测试结果表明,在锌添加量小于3.0 wt.%的研究范围内,锌的添加有利于提高晶体的结晶度.本研究不仅有助于天然金刚石形成机制的探究,而且对丰富金刚石的种类以及扩展人工合成金刚石的应用领域都有着重要意义. 相似文献

The effect of the catalyst height on the morphology of diamond crystal is investigated by means of temperature gradient growth(TGG) under high pressure and high temperature(HPHT) conditions with using a Ni-based catalyst in this article. The experimental results show that the morphology of diamond changes from an octahedral shape to a cuboctahedral shape as the catalyst height rises. Moreover, the finite element method(FEM) is used to simulate the temperature field of the melted catalyst/solvent. The results show that the temperature at the location of the seed diamond continues to decrease with the increase of catalyst height, which is conducive to changing the morphology of diamond. This work provides a new way to change the diamond crystal morphology. 相似文献
