This study reports a sensitive kinetic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of thiocyanate. In acidic solution, Methylene Blue (MB) is oxidized by bromate to form a colorless compound. The reaction is accelerated by trace amounts of thiocyanate and can be followed by measuring the absorbance at 664 nm. The absorbance of the reaction decreased with an increase in the reaction time. Under the optimum experimental conditions (0.56 M of sulfuric acid, 3.9 x 10(-5) M of MB, 3.0 x 10(-3) M of bromate, 180 s, 25 degrees C), thiocyanate can be determined in the range 5.0 - 180 ng/ml. The relative standard deviations (n = 8) are 2.81 and 1.43% for 10.0 and 150 ng/ml thiocyanate, respectively. The detection limit of this method is (3sigma) 3.8 ng/ml. This method was successfully applied to the determination of thiocyanate in real samples.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive method is described for the determination of trace amounts of molybdenum, based on its reaction with thiocyanate and its extraction (into toluene) as an ion-association complex formed with adogen (methyltrioctylammonium chloride). The molar absorptivity is 2.13 x 10(4) l.mole(-1).cm(-1) at lambda(max) 467 nm. The method has been applied to molybdenum determination in steels.  相似文献

A new chemiluminescence (CL) flow-injection method is proposed for the determination of 1,3-dichloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin (DDH). The method is based on the chemiluminescent reaction of DDH and luminol-H(2)O(2) in an alkaline medium (pH 12.0-12.5). The concentration of the analyte shows a good linear relationship with the produced luminescence intensity in the range of 3.0x10(-8) to 8.0x10(-6) mol l(-1). The detection limit of the proposed method is 1.0x10(-8) mol l(-1) and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) is 4.7% (n=5) at 5.0x10(-7) mol l(-1). This method was successfully applied to the determination of trace amounts of this disinfectant in water samples obtained from five different swimming pools. Satisfying recovery values were also obtained.  相似文献

A mixed-ligand complex of vanadium(V) with N-benzohydroxamic acid and thiocyanate formed at various acidities can be extracted into methyl isobutyl ketone, and used for photometric determination of trace amounts of vanadium in materials such as alloy steels and rocks. The absorption maximum of the violet mixed-ligand complex is at 535 nm. The values for the simple complex are 505 nm and molar absorptivity 7.4 x 10(3)l.mole(-1).cm(-1).  相似文献

A simple and sensitive fluorescence quenching method for the determination of trace nitrite has been developed. The method is based on the reaction of Rhodamine 110 with nitrite in acidic medium to form a new compound, which has much lower fluorescence. The optimum experimental conditions were studied. The linear range was obtained at a nitrite concentration of 1.0 x 10(-8)-3.0 x 10(-7)mol l(-1) with a detection limit of 7.0 x 10(-10) mol l(-1) (S/N=3). The proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of nitrite in tap water and lake water without extraction.  相似文献

A new fluorescent reagent 2-amino-5,7-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridine (ADMND) was proposed for the determination of trace nitrite. The reaction is based on the diazotization of naphthyridine amine with nitrite to form a diazonium salt that hydrolyzed when boiling to give hydroxyl group substituted naphthyridine. Fluorescence quenching degree of ADMND by nitrite ion is linear in the nitrite concentration range of 1 x 10(-7) to 2.5 x 10(-6)mol l(-1) with a detection limit of 4.06 x 10(-8)mol l(-1). Reaction and determination acidity for nitrite is the same which made the method much simpler compared with the widely accepted fluorescence method with DAN as a fluorescence reagent.  相似文献

7-(4,6-Dichloro-1,3,5-triazinylamino)-4-methylcoumarin (DTMC) was synthesized as a completely new chemiluminescent reagent, and with it a novel chemiluminescence method was developed for the determination of hydrogen peroxide in the absence of any added catalyst or co-oxidant. The chemiluminescence intensity of the DTMC-H(2)O(2) system could be enhanced by the addition of cation surfactants. The chemiluminescence intensity was directly proportional to the concentration of H(2)O(2) in the range 1.0 x 10(-7)-4.0x10(-4) mol l(-1), and the detection limit was 4.0 x 10(-8) mol l(-1). The relative S.D. was 4.9% for 1.0 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) of H(2)O(2) (n=10). The selectivity of this method was high, and most of the transition metal ions have no effect on the determination. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of trace amounts of hydrogen peroxide in snow water. A possible mechanism of the chemiluminescence reaction is also discussed.  相似文献

A spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of nickel is described. At pH 6, nickel reacts with p-acetylarsenazo to form a 1:2 coloured complex with an absorption maximum at 630 nm. The apparent molar absorptivity is 6.5 x 10(4) l.mol(-1) . cm(-1) . Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 0-0.8 microg/ml. The proposed method is selective, sensitive and can be applied to the determination of nickel in aluminum alloy.  相似文献

A very sensitive and selective procedure was developed for trace measurement of zirconium based on the cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry of the zirconium-alizarin red S(ARS) complex at a carbon paste electrode (CPE). The 2nd-order derivative linear scan voltammograms of the zirconium-ARS complex were recorded by a model JP-303 polarographic analyzer from 0.0 to -1.0 V (vs. SCE). Optimal analytical conditions were found to be: an acetic acid (0.1 mol l(-1))-potassium biphthalate (0.08 mol l(-1)) buffer solution (pH 4.8) containing 4.0 x 10-6 mol l(-1) ARS; accumulation potential, 0.0 V; accumulation time, 180 or 90 s; rest time, 10 s; scan rate, 250 mV s(-1). The results showed that the complex can be adsorbed on the surface of the CPE, yielding one peak at -0.51 V, corresponding to the reduction of ARS in the complex at the electrode. The detection limit was found to be 1.0 x 10(-10) mol l(-1) (S/N = 3) for 240 s accumulation. The linear range was 2.0 x 10(-10)-4.0 x 10(-7) mol l(-1). The developed method was applied to the determination of trace zirconium in the ore samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A PVC membrane electrode based on a cadmium-salen (N,N'-bis-salicylidene-1,2-ethylenediamine) complex as an anion carrier is described. The electrode has an anti-Hofmeister selectivity sequence with a preference for thiocyanate at pH 1.5-11.0. It has a linear response to thiocyanate from 1.0 x 10(-6) to 1.0 x 10(-1) mol L(-1) with a slope of 59.1 +/- 0.2 mV per decade, and a detection limit of 7 x 10(-7) mol L(-1). This electrode has high selectivity for thiocyanate relative to many common organic and inorganic anions. The proposed sensor has a fast response time of approximately 15 s. It was applied to the determination of thiocyanate in a milk sample.  相似文献

A new method for the indirect determination of thiocyanate with ammonium sulfate and ethanol by extraction-flotation of copper in the presence of ascorbic acid is described. A small amount of Cu(II) is reduced to Cu(I) by ascorbic acid, then Cu(I) is precipitated with SCN-. In the course of phase separation of ethanol from water, the precipitated CuSCN stays in the interface of ethanol and water. A good linear relationship is observed between the flotation yield of Cu(II) and the amount of SCN-. Using 1.0 ml of 1 x 10(-3) M ascorbic acid solution, 50 micrograms of Cu(II), 3.5 g of (NH4)2SO4 and 3.0 ml of ethanol with a total volume of 10 ml, the concentration of thiocyanate could then be determined by determining the flotation yield of Cu(II). The detection limit for thiocyanate is 5 x 10(-5) M. Every parameter was optimized and the reaction mechanism was studied. The method is simple and rapid and it was successfully applied to the determination of thiocyanate in urine and saliva of smokers and non-smokers and in venous blood of patients infused with sodium nitroprusside.  相似文献

This paper describes a simple and highly selective method for separation, preconcentration and spectrophotometric determination of trace amounts of mercury. The method is based on the flotation of an ion-associate of HgI4(2-) and ferroin between aqueous and n-heptane interface at pH 5. The ion-associate was then separated and dissolved in acetonitrile to measure its absorbance. Quantitative flotation of the ion-associate was achieved when the volume of the water sample containing Hg(II) was varied over 50 - 800 ml. Beer's law was obeyed over the concentration range of 3.2 x 10(-8) - 9.5 x 10(-7) mol l(-1) with an apparent molar absorptivity of 1 x 10(6) l mol(-1) cm(-1) for a 500 ml aliquot of the water sample. The detection limit (n = 25) was 6.2 x 10(-9) mol l(-1), and the RSD (n = 5) for 3.19 x 10(-7) mol l(-1) of Hg(II) was 1.9%. A notable advantage of the method is that the determination of Hg(II) is free from the interference of the almost all cations and anions found in the environmental and waste water samples. The determination of Hg(II) in tap, synthetic waste, and seawater samples was carried out by the present method and a well-established method of extraction with dithizone. The results were satisfactorily comparable so that the applicability of the proposed method was confirmed in encountering with real samples.  相似文献

A flow-injection electrochemiluminescent method for L-cysteine determination has been developed based on its enhancement of the electrochemiluminecence of luminol at a glassy carbon electrode. This method is simple and sensitive for cysteine determination. Under the selected experimental parameters, the linear range for cysteine concentration was 1.0 x 10(-6) - 5.0 x 10(-5) mol/l, and the detection limit was 0.67 micromol/l (S/N = 3). The relative standard deviation for 11 measurements of 1.0 x 10(-5) mol/l cysteine was 4.5%. The proposed method has been applied to the detection of cysteine in pharmaceutical injections with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A method based on micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography with electrochemical detection was developed for the determination of cytosine, 5-methylcytosine (5-MC), thymine, adenine, and guanine in the hydrolysates of DNA. The working electrode was fabricated in a novel self-positioning carbon disc electrode system that can align the capillary outlet with the working electrode without a three-dimensional micromanipulator. The five analytes could be well separated within 10 min in a 40 cm length capillary at a separation voltage of 9 kV in a 40 mmol/l borate buffer (pH 10.0) containing 100 mmol/l sodium dodecyl sulfate. Good linearity was observed between peak current and concentration of bases over three orders of magnitude with the detection limits (SIN=3) ranging from 1.28 x 10(-6) to 5.02 x 10(-6) mol/l. This proposed method demonstrated long-term stability and reproducibility with relative standard deviations of less than 5% for both migration time and peak current (n=7). It has been successfully applied to determine bases including 5-MC in the hydrolysates of fish sperm DNA, calf thymus DNA, and DNA isolated from spleen cells of female mice.  相似文献

A new spectrofluorimetric method was developed for determination of trace amount of Coenzyme II (NADP). Using europium ion-doxycycline (DC) as a fluorescent probe, in the buffer solution of pH 8.44, NADP can remarkably enhance the fluorescence intensity of the Eu(3+)-DC complex at lambda=612 nm and the enhanced fluorescence intensity is in proportion to the concentration of NADP. Optimum conditions for the determination of NADP were also investigated. The dynamic range for the determination of NADP is 3.3 x 10(-7) to 6.1 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) with detection limit of 6.8 x 10(-8) mol l(-1). This method is simple, practical and relatively free interference from coexisting substances and can be successfully applied to determination of NADP in synthetic water samples and in serum samples. Moreover, the enhancement mechanisms of the fluorescence intensity in the Eu(3+)-DC system and the Eu(3+)-DC-NADP system have been also discussed.  相似文献

A rapid, simple, and accurate spectrophotometric method is presented for the determination of fluoxetine by batch and flow injection analysis methods. The method is based on fluoxetine competitive complexation reaction with phenolphthalein-beta-cyclodextrin (PHP-beta-CD) inclusion complex. The increase in the absorbance of the solution at 554 nm by the addition of fluoxetine was measured. The formation constant for fluoxetin-beta-CD was calculated by non-linear least squares fitting. Fluoxetine can be determined in the range 7.0 x 10(-6)-2.4 x 10(-4) mol l(-1) and 5.0 x 10(-5)-1.0 x 10(-2) mol l(-1) by batch and flow methods, respectively. The limit of detection and limit of quantification were respectively 4.13 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) and 1.38 x 10(-5) mol l(-1) for batch and 2.46 x 10(-5) mol l(-1) and 8.22 x 10(-5) mol l(-1) for flow method. The sampling rate in flow injection analysis method was 80+/-5 samples h(-1). The method was applied to the determination of fluoxetine in pharmaceutical formulations and after addition to human urine samples.  相似文献

This paper presents a convenient determination method for carbaryl in polluted water by micellar-stabilized room temperature phosphorescence with Na(2)SO(3) as oxygen scavenger. The effect of various experimental conditions on the determination of carbaryl is discussed in detail. The analytical curve of carbaryl gives a linear dynamic range of 2 x 10(-7)-6 x 10(-5) mol/l., and a detection limit of 2 x 10(-7) mol/l. A recovery of 90-100% was obtained for 0.05-0.1 ppm carbaryl.  相似文献

对茶叶中的茶氨酸和γ-氨基丁酸(GABA)建立了柱前衍生方法,并利用高效液相色谱法(HPLC)对衍生物进行了测定。采用邻苯二甲醛(OPA)及N-乙酰-L-半胱氨酸(NAC)为衍生试剂,考察了脯氨酸(Pro)、茶多酚(Tp)及维生素C(Vc)等对衍生体系的影响,并对色谱分离条件进行了优化。结果表明,茶氨酸与GABA衍生物在色谱柱上的保留行为与分离效率主要受流动相pH及缓冲盐浓度的影响;Pro、Tp及Vc对茶氨酸的衍生产率影响较小。而Vc可以提高GABA检测的灵敏度,并能稳定衍生用储备液。GABA与茶氨酸衍生后的方法检出限(LOD)分别为3.01×10~5mmol/L和7.98×10~5mmol/L;定量限(LOQ)分别为9.99×10~5mmol/L和2.658×10~4mmol/L;线性范围分别为0.01~0.4 mmol/L(相关系数为0.996)和0.05~0.8 mmol/L(相关系数为0.995);方法的回收率分别为99.29%~119.60%和93.18%~141.06%(除本身含茶氨酸量高的绿茶中回收率为62.88%外)。这说明经优化的柱前衍生-高效液相色谱体系可用于茶叶中两种特征性氨基酸的测定。  相似文献

A novel method is proposed for the determination of trace amount of oxalic acid in the present article. In 1.0M hydrochloric acid medium, oxalic acid can react with the zirconium(IV) in Zr(IV)-(DBS-arsenazo) complex and replaces the DBS-arsenazo to produce a hyperchromic effect at 520 nm. The hyperchromic degree is proportional to the concentration of the oxalic acid added over a defined range. Based on this property, a new method for the spectrophotometric determination of trace oxalic acid was developed. Beer's law is held over the concentration range of 9.0 x 10(-6) to 5.0 x 10(-4)M for oxalic acid with a correlation coefficient of 0.9995. The apparent molar absorptivity of the method is epsilon520 nm = 1.16 x 10(3)L mol(-1)cm(-1) and the detection limit for oxalic acid is 0.815 microg/mL. The developed method was directly applied to the determination of oxalic acid in tomato samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

本文利用痕量硫氰根离子对溴酸钾氧化罗丹明6G反应的抑制作用,建立了痕量硫氰根离子的荧光动力学检测方法。方法检测限0.4ng/mL。线性范围0.4-32.0ng/mL。应用于吸烟人和非吸烟人唾液、湖水、血清中痕量硫氰根离子的测定,结果令人满意。  相似文献
