对压电材料用于损伤监测的理论和数值分析做了一些研究。首先,设计了一种用压电材料进行损伤监测的模型。然后,对这个模型进行分析,找出简单有效的解答办法,将求解过程分解为断裂力学分析和压电分析两部分,并通过适当的假设,进行了详细的理论推导。通过正电有限元程序进行仿真计算,将数值计算结果与理论解进行比较以验证提出理论的正确性,并分析得到了裂纹参数与压电层表面电势变化之间的关系和普通弹性材料泊松比对波峰参数的影响。最后,用提出的方法验算了两个例题。从结果来看,理论结果和数值结果非常接近。  相似文献

基于弹塑性有限元理论建立了钢管混凝土柱-钢梁节点荷载-位移全过程非线性有限元模型,在单元分析中采用改进的AUL表述推导得到梁柱单元刚度矩阵方程,同时考虑了材料的物理非线性和单元的几何非线性,并编制了非线性有限元程序NLFEACFST。采用该模型对相关研究者和作者进行的节点试验进行了分析,理论计算结果与试验结果比较表明,该模型具有很好的适用性和精度。在理论分析模型得到试验结果验证的基础上,对典型的中柱节点进行了荷载-位移全过程非线性特性分析,并对影响节点承载力和荷载-位移骨架曲线的因素进行了参数分析,为进一步从理论研究钢管混凝土框架结构的力学性能创造了条件。  相似文献

A new, two-dimensional (2D) homogenization theory is proposed. The theory utilizes a higher-order, elasticity-based cell model (ECM) analysis. The material microstructure is modeled as a 2D periodic array of unit cells where each unit cell is discretized into four subregions (or subcells). The analysis utilizes a (truncated) eigenfunction expansion of up to fifth order for the displacement field in each subcell. The governing equations for the theory are developed by satisfying the pointwise governing equations of geometrically linear continuum mechanics exactly up through an order consistent with the order of the subcell displacement field. The formulation is carried out independently of any specified constitutive models for the behavior of the individual phases (in the sense that the general governing equations hold for any constitutive model). The fifth order theory is subsequently specialized to a third order theory. Additionally, the higher order analyzes reduce to a theory equivalent to the original 2D method of cells (MOC) theory when all higher order terms are eliminated. The proposed 2D theory is the companion theory to an equivalent 3D theory [T.O. Williams, A three-dimensional, higher-order, elasticity-based micromechanics model, Int. J. Solids Struc., in press].Comparison of the predicted bulk and local responses with published results indicates that the theory accurately predicts both types of responses. The high degree of agreement between the current theory results and published results is due to the correct incorporation of the coupling effects between the local fields.The proposed theory represents the necessary theoretical foundations for the development of exact homogenization solutions of generalized, two-dimensional microstructures.  相似文献

In this paper, an asymmetric theory of nonlocal elasticity with nonlocal body couple is developed on the basis of the axiom system in nonlocal continuum field theory. The Galileo invariance is used for determining the explicit form of the constitutive equations. It is shown that both continuum field theory and quasicontinuum theory give the same constitutive equations and field equations for the general theory of nonlocal elasticity. Finally, the relations among nonlocal theory, couple stress theory, and higher gradient theory are investigated.  相似文献

A new type of plate theory for the nonlinear analysis of laminated plates in the presence of delaminations and other history-dependent effects is presented. The formulation is based on a generalized two length scale displacement field obtained from a superposition of global and local displacement effects. The functional forms of global and local displacement fields are arbitrary. The theoretical framework introduces a unique coupling between the length scales and represents a novel two length scale or local-global approach to plate analysis. Appropriate specialization of the displacement field can be used to reduce the theory to any currently available, variationally derived, displacement based (discrete layer, smeared, or zig-zag) plate theory.The theory incorporates delamination and/or nonlinear elastic or inelastic interfacial behavior in a unified fashion through the use of interfacial constitutive (cohesive) relations. Arbitrary interfacial constitutive relations can be incorporated into the theory without the need for reformulation of the governing equations. The theory is sufficiently general that any material constitutive model can be implemented within the theoretical framework. The theory accounts for geometric nonlinearities to allow for the analysis of buckling behavior.The theory represents a comprehensive framework for developing any order and type of displacement based plate theory in the presence of delamination, buckling, and/or nonlinear material behavior as well as the interactions between these effects.The linear form of the theory is validated by comparison with exact solutions for the behavior of perfectly bonded and delaminated laminates in cylindrical bending. The theory shows excellent correlation with the exact solutions for both the inplane and out-of-plane effects and the displacement jumps due to delamination. The theory can accurately predict the through-the-thickness distributions of the transverse stresses without the need to integrate the pointwise equilibrium equations. The use of a low order of the general theory, i.e. use of both global and local displacement fields, reduces the computational expense compared to a purely discrete layer approach to the analysis of laminated plates without loss of accuracy. The increased efficiency, compared to a solely discrete layer theory, is due to the coupling introduced in the theory between the global and local displacement fields.  相似文献

Presented here is a general theory for the three-dimensional nonlinear dynamics of elastic anisotropic initially straight beams undergoing moderate displacements and rotations. The theory fully accounts for geometric nonlinearities (large rotations and displacements) by using local stress and strain measures and an exact coordinate transformation, which result in nonlinear curvature and strain-displacement expressions that contain the von Karman strains as a special case. Extensionality is included in the formulation, and transverse shear deformations are accounted for by using a third-order theory. Six third-order nonlinear partial-differential equations are derived for describing one extension, two bending, one torsion, and two shearing vibrations of composite beams. They show that laminated beams display linear elastic and nonlinear geometric couplings among all motions. The theory contains, as special cases, the Euler-Bernoulli theory, Timoshenko's beam theory, the third-order shear theory, and the von Karman type nonlinear theory.  相似文献

In this study a continuum theory is proposed which predicts the dynamic behavior of thermoelastic layered composites consisting of two alternating layers. In constructing the theory, it is noted that the governing equations for a single layer, derived in Part I, hold in each phase of the layered composite. The theory is completed by supplementing these equations with continuity conditions and using a smoothing operation. The derivation of the continuity conditions is based on the assumption that the layers are perfectly bonded at interfaces. To assess the theory, spectra from the exact and the derived theory are compared for waves propagating in various directions of the composite. The match between the two is excellent. For waves propagating normal to layering the theory predicts both the banded and periodic structure of the spectra. The region of validity of the theory on the wave number-frequency plane can be enlargened by increasing the orders of the theory and the continuity conditions.  相似文献

A density functional theory is applied to calculating the local density profiles of colloids confined in a slit-like pore as well as the radial distribution functions of bulk colloids. The interaction between the colloidal particles is described using a hard-core Yukawa model. The excess Helmholtz energy functional is a combination of the modified fundamental measure theory of Yu and Wu (2002) for the hard-core contribution and a corrected mean-field theory for the attractive contribution. Comparison with the results from the Monte Carlo simulations shows that the corrected theory improves the density profiles of colloids in the vicinity of contact over the original mean-field theory. Both the present corrected theory and simulations suggest that there are depletion and desorption for the colloid with strong attraction between particles at low temperature.  相似文献

An Nth order two-dimensional theory is derived for strongly coupled piezoelectric layers that is suitable for use in analyzing electro-mechanical transducer response in circumstances where the field variations over the transducer face are important. Specific formulae are given for the widely used ceramic PZT-5.The first few branches of the dispersion curves for PZT-5 are obtained numerically for both the three-dimensional theory and the approximate two-dimensional theory. The correspondence of these curves at long wavelengths is used to determine a single correction factor. The face boundary conditions accommodate unknown traction and voltage so that the theory can be used in transducer applications.  相似文献
