The cavitated bifurcation problem in a solid sphere composed of two compressible hyper-elastic materials is examined. The bifurcation solution for the composed sphere under a uniform radial tensile boundary dead-load is obtained. The bifurcation curves and the stress contributions subsequent to the cavitation are given. The right and left bifurcation as well as the catastrophe and concentration of stresses are analyzed. An exact solution to cavitation is found in tension of a class of Cauchy elastic membranes. The constitutive relationship of materials is based on Hookean elastic law and finite logarithmic strain measure. A variable transformation is used in solving the two-point boundary-value problem of nonlinear ordinary differential equation. A simple formula to calculate the critical stretch for cavitation is derived. As the numerical results, the bifurcation curves describing void nucleation and suddenly rapidly growth of the cavity are obtained. The boundary layers of displacements and stresses near the cavity wall are observed. The cata-strophic transition from homogeneous to cavitated deformation and the jumping of stress distribution are discussed. The result of the energy comparison shows the cavitated deformation has lower energy than the homogeneous one, thus the state of cavitated deformation is relatively stable. All investigations illustrate that cavitation reflects a local behavior of materials. 本文研究了一种组合不可压超弹性材料圆柱体中空穴的生成与增长问题,得到了这种材料受表面均布拉伸死荷载和轴向拉压共同作用下空穴生成问题的解析解,得到了不同组合情况下圆柱体中空穴生成时的临界载荷及分叉曲线,发现组合材料可以发生右分叉,也可以发生左分叉;给出了空穴生成后的应力分布,并讨论了所存在的应力间断和应力集中问题;通过能量比较分析了解的稳定性,讨论了发生右分叉或左分叉的条件,并分析了材料中预存微孔的增长情况。  相似文献

This paper summarizes the authors' research on local bifurcation theory of nonlinear systems with parametric excitation since 1986. The paper is divided into three parts. The first one is the local bifurcation problem of nonlinear systems with parametric excitation in cases of fundamental harmonic, subharmonic and superharmonic resonance. The second one is the experiment investigation of local bifurcation solutions in nonlinear systems with parametric excitation. The third one is the universal unfolding study of periodic bifurcation solutions in the nonlinear Hill system, where the influence of every physical parameter on the periodic bifurcation solution is discussed in detail and all the results may be applied to engineering.  相似文献

采用长轴承解析模型研究滑动轴承支承的平衡单盘柔性转子-轴承系统的自激振动,把结合打靶法的延续算法应用于柔性平衡转子-轴承系统Hopf分叉后周期解的追踪和求解上,基于Floquet理论对周期解的稳定性加以分析.通过持续追踪周期解频率变化并与失稳固有频率进行对比,分析了自激锁相现象,研究了非线性油膜力自激源对系统的作用机理.运用Poincare映射、分叉图、及Lyapnov指数对周期解分叉、混沌及进入和脱离混沌的过程进行了分析.  相似文献

We investigate the resonant double Hopf bifurcation in a diffusive complex Ginzburg–Landau model with delayed feedback and phase shift. The conditions for the existence of resonant double Hopf bifurcation are obtained by analyzing the roots’ distribution of the characteristic equation, and a general formula to determine the bifurcation point is given. For the cases of 1:2 and 1:3 resonance, we choose time delay, feedback strength and phase shift as bifurcation parameters and derive the normal forms which are proved to be the same as those in non-resonant cases. The impact of cubic terms on the unfolding types is discussed after obtaining the normal form till 3rd order. By fixing phase shift, we find that varying time delay and feedback strength simultaneously can induce the coexistence of two different periodic solutions, the existence of quasi-periodic solutions and strange attractors. Also, the effects on the existence of transient quasi-periodic solution exerted by the phase shift are illustrated.

In this paper, the dynamical behavior of a linear Hamiltonian system under two kinds of impulsive control is discussed by means of both theoretical and numerical ways. The existence and stability of the periodic solution are investigated. Moreover, the conditions of existence for a Neimark?CSacker bifurcation are derived by using a discrete map. Numerical results for phase portraits, periodic solutions, and bifurcation diagrams are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

A delayed oncolytic virus dynamics with continuous control is investigated. The local stability of the infected equilibrium is discussed by analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation. By choosing the delay ?? as a bifurcation parameter, we show that Hopf bifurcation can occur as the delay ?? crosses some critical values. Using the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction, explicit formulae are derived to determine the direction of bifurcations and the stability and other properties of bifurcating periodic solutions. The weakly nonlinear resonant response of an orthogonal double pendulum to planar harmonic motions of the point of suspension is investigated. The two pendulums in the double pendulum are confined to two orthogonal planes. For nearly equal length of the two pendulums, the system exhibits 1:1 internal resonance. The method of averaging is used to derive a set of four first order autonomous differential equations in the amplitude and phase variables. Constant solutions of the amplitude and phase equations are studied as a function of physical parameters of interest using the local bifurcation theory. It is shown that, for excitation restricted in either plane, there may be as many as six pitchfork bifurcation points at which the nonplanar solutions bifurcate from the planar solutions. These nonplanar motions can become unstable by a saddle-node or a Hopf bifurcation, giving rise to a new branch of constant solutions or limit cycle solutions, respectively. The dynamics of the amplitude equations in parameter regions of the Hopf bifurcations is then explored using direct numerical integration. The results indicate a complicated amplitude dynamics including multiple limit cycle solutions, period-doubling route to chaos, and sudden disappearance of chaotic attractors.  相似文献

为了研究碳纳米管在冲击扭矩作用下的动力屈曲,采用了连续模型将碳纳米管模拟成半无限长的弹性连续圆柱壳。将冲击扭矩作用下碳纳米管的动力屈曲问题归结为由于扭转应力波传播导致的分叉问题,此分叉问题被化为一个非线性方程组的求解。最后进行了数值分析,讨论了碳纳米管的不同参数对动力屈曲的影响,发现碳纳米管有极强的抗冲击性,临界屈曲剪应力可高达几百吉帕。  相似文献

In this paper, a more general two-neuron model with distributed delays and weak kernel is investigated. By applying the frequency domain approach and analyzing the associated characteristic equation, the existence of bifurcation parameter point is determined. Furthermore, we found that if the mean delay is used as a bifurcation parameter, Hopf bifurcation occurs for the weak kernel. This means that a family of periodic solutions bifurcates from the equilibrium when the bifurcation parameter exceeds a critical value. The direction and stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are determine by the Nyquist criterion and the graphical Hopf bifurcation theorem. Some numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also given.  相似文献
