Numerical analysis to predict turning characteristics of rigid suspension tracked vehicle 总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7
Numerical analysis was developed to calculate the steering properties of a rigid suspension tracked vehicle turning on soft terrain. The developed numerical analysis is based on a method to solve a set of non-linear equations. To verify the numerical analysis, an experiment on a model-tracked vehicle turning with a steering ratio of 1.6 on a loose sandy terrain was carried out. The comparison between measured and calculated values shows that the numerical analysis can predict sinkage, slip ratios and turning radius within an error amount of 15%. 相似文献

The mechanical response of thin welded plates made of Ck45 steel during shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) is investigated by employing data from numerical results using the finite element method and laboratory experimental measurements. The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of the thermal uncertainty encountered during the thermal numerical analysis on the out-of-plane angular distortion of the welded panels. For this purpose a comparison between the numerical mechanical response (using the calibrated and as-predicted thermal history) and the experimental results is carried out. The effect of the microstructural transformations on the angular out-of-plane distortion is also investigated by introducing the material transformation within the numerical analysis by the simplest means in order to clearly demonstrate its influence. The same strategy is followed in order to investigate the effect of low-temperature martensitic transformation on the longitudinal residual stress field by properly combining experimental and numerical results and analyzing an idealized welding fabrication. Discussion is, finally, carried out regarding the design process of welded marine structures. 相似文献

This paper presents numerical simulation of the physical phenomena in heat pipe. The vapour dynamics of working fluid is considered in the numerical analysis of the heat pipe. A two-phase analysis is carried out for the heat pipe. The compressible flow equations for vapour-phase interaction with water particle phase are solved by a finite volume technique. A three stage Runge-Kutta time-stepping method is employed to solve vapour dynamics. Damping term is added to stablize the numerical scheme. 由进风口-叶轮-无叶扩压器-蜗壳等部件组成的离心风机通道内流分析是非常复杂的,目前还只能是分别计算各部件内的流场,但必须考虑部件间的相互影响。本文采用轴对称N-S方程,根据三维叶轮通道计算给出的叶片力分布,求解了考虑叶片力的进风口-叶轮-无叶扩压器组成的子午通道问题,所得结果可用来给出三维叶轮通道计算的进口条件,并可用于优化设计进风口及叶轮前、后盘形状。该方法已得到实践检验。 相似文献

The monitoring by measurement and analysis of vibration is largely used to detect the defects in revolving machines. The determination of the best sensor positions is one of the main research goals in the field of predictive maintenance. This paper proposes a numerical methodology based on a finite element model and a spectral analysis in order to find optimum sensor positions. The bearing is a key component for the vibration propagation from the moving parts to static ones. An analytical bearing model and its numerical implementation in a finite element code are presented. The tangent stiffness matrix of the bearing element is obtained by the Newton–Raphson method and then used for the modal and spectral analyses. Several techniques are used to find the most sensitive zones to common defects. The proposed numerical approach correlate well with the experimental results. The numerical modeling of a grinder shows the interests in industrial applications. 相似文献

声学分析在噪声控制、室内隔音等工程计算中有着重要的作用. 由于现实生活中的声学模型往往伴随着吸声材料, 因此分析含阻抗边界条件的声学问题显得十分必要. 广义有限差分法是一种新型区域型无网格数值离散方法, 该方法基于多元函数泰勒级数展开式和加权最小二乘拟合, 将控制方程中未知参量的各阶偏导数表示为相邻节点函数值的线性组合. 本文首次将广义有限差分法应用于含阻抗边界条件空腔声学问题的分析中, 建立了空腔声场问题的广义有限差分法数值离散格式. 与传统算法相比, 所建立的数值模型具有无需网格剖分和数值积分、计算精度高、适用于大规模声学分析等优点. 通过具有解析解的经典算例, 研究了总节点数目和局部支撑点数目对数值结果的影响, 得到了最大计算频率与节点间距之间关系的经验公式. 此外, 将广义有限差分法应用于无解析解的二维和三维复杂声学模型, 并与COMSOL Multiphysics软件所得的有限元结果进行了比较分析. 数值实验表明, 该算法是一种高效、精确、稳定、收敛的数值模拟方法, 在含阻抗边界空腔声学分析中具有广阔的应用前景. 相似文献

采用三维真实材料破坏过程分析RFPA3D(Three-Dimension Realistic Failure Process Anal-ysis)系统,先对受拉钢筋混凝土构件在轴向拉伸作用下的破坏过程进行了数值试验研究,并与相应的实验结果进行了比较,数值试验得到的结果都与实验吻合的较好.并在此验证基础上利用RFPA系统着重分析了混凝土及钢筋在拉伸条件下的破坏过程中的应力分布情况过程及破坏机理.数值试验结果表明,受拉钢筋混凝土结构破坏过程中存在“等间距裂缝现象“,并通过破坏分析再现了裂缝形成、加密直至饱和的演化过程.本文还用三维程序,通过多个不同混凝土厚度钢筋混凝土构件的数值试验,研究了混凝土厚度对裂缝数及裂缝间距的影响,进一步发现饱和裂缝间距与混凝土厚度之间存在正比关系.随混凝土保护层厚度的增加而增大,裂缝数量随混凝土保护层厚度的增加而减少. 相似文献

The one-dimensional flow of a Maxwell fluid is used to study several aspects of the numerical simulation of viscoelastic fluids. The numerical results are produced via a Galerkin finite element method of the mixed type and are compared with an analytic solution. The accuracy of the numerical solutions are evaluated with respect to variations in mesh refinement and changes in the interpolation order for the stress variables. Various convergence and accuracy problems associated with the chosen numerical schemes are noted and a tentative explanation for these difficulties is provided through use of an eigenvalue analysis. 相似文献

The viscous dissipation effect on forced convection in a porous saturated circular tube with an isoflux wall is investigated on the basis of the Brinkman flow model. For the thermally developing region, a numerical study is reported while a perturbation analysis is presented to find expressions for the temperature profile and the Nusselt number for the fully developed region. The fully developed Nusselt number found by numerical solution for the developing region is compared with that of asymptotic analysis and a good degree of agreement is observed. 相似文献
