为了完成SESRI300MeV同步加速器的束流调试,使用Tracewin软件和加速腔电磁场分布文件建立了该加速器注入线从离子源出口到注入点的全尺寸模型,在多粒子模式下计算了两种典型粒子束(质子、209Bi32+)在不同状态下的加速传输,得到了注入线上束流相空间的变化过程和注入线的传输效率与接受效率.研究结果表明,300 MeV同步加速器注入线在加速不同荷质比的离子束流时,电磁场参数设置基本与荷质比成反比.束流的接受效率主要由射频四极加速腔出口发射度决定,质子束和重离子束的接受效率差别较大.在射频四极加速腔出口发射度为0.1πmm·mrad时,209Bi32+束接收效率达到92.13%,质子束的接收效率为68.18%.分析束流传输过程表明,当横向发射度过大时,束流会因为纵向能散展宽和相位展宽而无法被最终接受.在现有配置下,质子束存在横向聚焦力不够、接受效率较低的问题.通过额外增加2个四极铁能够将质子束的接受效率由68.18%提升至83.61%. 相似文献

We investigate the phenomenon of space-charge driven emittance growth in a three-dimensional mismatched anisotropic charged particle beam with relevance to high-intensity linear accelerators. The final emittance growth can be understood as a superposition of the contributions from the mismatch-induced halo formation and from the anisotropy-induced energy exchange. The averaged emittance growth per degree of freedom is bounded from above by the so-called "free energy limit" extended by the contributions from energy exchange. The partition of the growth into longitudinal or transverse is, however, a strong function of the tune ratio including the possibility that an initially equipartitioned beam is even driven substantially away from equipartition. The growth of the beam halo extent is dominated by the effect of mismatch, whereas anisotropy itself generates practically no halo. 相似文献

基于KONUS束流动力学理论,完成了一台工作频率为162.5 MHz、占空比为1%的交叉指型漂移管直线注入器(IH-DTL)的动力学设计。该IH-DTL内置两套三组合四极透镜,共有41个加速单元,可为同步加速器提供流强400 eμA、能量4 MeV/u的C4+束流。在动力学设计过程中着重对每个加速间隙的同步能量偏差、注入相位和间隙电压等参数进行优化,使得该IH-DTL的横向归一化RMS接收度达到0.24 πmm·mrad,且横纵向归一化发射度增长小于10%,有利于提高同步环的注入效率。然后根据动力学设计的结构参数进行IH-DTL的高频仿真计算,将得到的三维电磁场分布导入PIC粒子跟踪程序中进行束流动力学模拟。动力学模拟结果显示,束流在IH-DTL出口的横向自然发射度小于13 πmm·mrad,达到了同步环的注入要求,而且在7%的垂直二极场分量下,束流中心的横向偏移在±0.5 mm以内,整体的束流传输效率高于99%。An interdigital H-mode drift tube linac (IH-DTL) with KONUS beam dynamic has been designed, which operation frequency was chosen 162.5 MHz. This IH-DTL consists of 41 accelerating cells and two quadrupole magnets triplets, can provide the C4+ with the current of 400 eμA and energy of 4 MeV/u for the synchrotron. In the beam dynamic design, the synchronous particle energy, inject RF phase and the acceleration voltage of each gap are optimized carefully to make the transverse normalized RMS acceptance of the IH-DTL to be 0.24 πmm·mrad and the beam emittance growth small than 10%. Then the RF structure was designed and the 3D electromagnetic field was imported into the PIC particle tracking code for the beam dynamic simulation. The transverse beam emittance at the exit of the IH-DTL is small than 13πmm·mrad which meets the injection requirement of the synchrotron. What is more, under the 7% vertical dipole fields component, the offset between the beam center and the drift tube's axis is ±0.5 mm at most. The transmission efficiency of the IH-DTL is higher than 99% for the whole beam in the acceptance. 相似文献

The criterion for matching the charged particle bunch with the accelerator beam extraction window, which consists in minimizing the emittance of the accelerated beam extracted through a metal foil, is derived using the distribution function for moving particles scattered on foil nuclei. A technique for constructing the phase portrait of the scattered bunch and the criterion for minimizing its area (emittance) are presented. The influence of low electric fields on the average electron energy in an afterglow krypton plasma is studied by means of
probe diagnostics and theoretical analysis. It is shown that, when the average electron energy is lower than the energy corresponding
to the minimum scattering transport cross section, the degree of plasma ionization substantially affects the shape of the
electron energy distribution function (EEDF). The nonequlibrium character of the EEDF results in the density dependence of
the coefficient of ambipolar diffusion, which leads to a change in the radial profile of the charged particle density, an
increase in the drop in the ambipolar potential across the plasma, and an increase in the rate of diffusive plasma decay.
These effects substantially enhance the diffusive cooling of electrons, which is probably a decisive factor influencing the
electron energy balance in high-Z noble gases. 相似文献

从热发射理论出发,推导了非均匀发射阴极的均方根本征发射度的一般计算形式。针对一种最常见的温度径向分布近似模型,给出了均方根发射度随温度非均匀性变化趋势的理论数值解。基于有限差分法粒子仿真技术统计了热阴极的本征发射度,仿真结果与理论解一致,验证了非均匀发射热阴极本征均方根发射度一般形式的正确性。结果表明,径向温度非均匀性引起均方根发射度显著变化,非均匀系数为10%时引起均方根发射度下降约15%。本文建立的理论形式和仿真方法可以有效评估束流品质控制目标和工程热设计之间的依赖关系,以指导高效费比的工程设计。 相似文献

本文探讨了利用多孔板法测量四维横向相空间中均匀分布以及高斯分布的电子束发射度的测量原理。结果表明,对于四维均匀分布的电子束,该法测量的是电子束的边发射度,并且光斑尺寸随着小孔位置不同而变化;对于高斯分布的电子束,该法测量的是电子束的均方根发射度,其光斑尺寸与小孔位置无关。 相似文献
