用改进的格点哈密顿量和变分法,研究了2维SU(NC)规范场中矢量介子质量MV与夸克质量m和Wilson参数 的依赖关系.数值结果表明:对于NC =2、3、4、5、6、7, …,在标度窗口 内,MV/g与m的依赖关系近似为直线;但是矢量介子质量MV不明显依赖于Wilson参数 (这与夸克凝聚的情况不同). 特别是,当 时, 本文的格点结果与Bhattacharya’s的连续理论强耦合相分析结果很好地一致, 而 的值十分接近Schwinger模型中的相应值.  相似文献

We study the ideal gas of fermions on a lattice at finite density for both naive and Wilson fermions. Comparing the thermodynamical quantities thus calculated with the known results in the continuum theory, we are led to propose a modification of the naive form of the lattice action, which is same for both the naive and the Wilson fermions. The thermodynamical quantities, calculated by using this form, are shown to have the correct continuum limit.  相似文献

The two-dimensional gauge-invariant O(2) Heisenberg (classical X-Y) model is discussed in terms of a Hamiltonian formulation on a one-dimensional spatial lattice with continuous “time”. Particular emphasis is placed on the spectrum of the model and the behaviour of the Wilson loop (which is relevant to the confinement properties). The entire energy spectrum as well as the eigenfunctions of the model are determined in a certain coupling regime by applying a WKB method suitable for periodic potentials.A tight binding (periodic Gaussian) approximation to the quantum Hamiltonian and its wave functional is introduced. The Wilson loop is explicitly calculated in terms of this approximation and is seen to be crucially influenced by the periodicity of the wave functional. The dominant contributions to be Wilson loop correspond to cross sections through the centres of vortices.  相似文献

In this paper,we analyze the dependence of the topological charge density from the overlap operator on the Wilson mass parameter in the overlap kernel by the symmetric multi-probing source(SMP) method.We observe that non-trivial topological objects are removed as the Wilson mass is increased.A comparison of topological charge density calculated by the SMP method using the fermionic definition with that of the gluonic definition by the Wilson flow method is shown.A matching procedure for these two methods is used.We find that there is a best match for topological charge density between the gluonic definition with varied Wilson flow time and the fermionic definition with varied Wilson mass.By using the matching procedure,the proper flow time of Wilson flow in the calculation of topological charge density can be estimated.As the lattice spacing a decreases,the proper flow time also decreases,as expected.  相似文献

The contribution of interband transitions to the optical absorption of Cs colloids in a CsBr crystal has been calculated by introducing the expression of Wilson and Butcher for the imaginary part of the dielectric constant of cesium into the standard Mie theory. The resulting absorption bands are smaller and much broader than those corresponding to the free-electron model. The dependence of the calculated band half-width on colloid radius is compared with experimental data. The evolution kernel for the free Dirac field is calculated using Wilson lattice fermions. We discuss the difficulties due to which this calculation has not been previously performed in continuum theory. We attempt to identify a path layout in the definition of transverse-momentum-dependent T-odd parton distribution functions (TMD)s which combines features of both, initial- and final-state interactions, so that it remains universal despite the fact that the Wilson lines entering such TMDs change their orientation. In this paper we calculate the exact partition function for free bosons on the plane with lacunae. First the partition function for a plane with two spherical holes is calculated by matching exactly for the infinite set of Wilson coefficients in an effective world line theory and then performing the ensuing Gaussian integration. The partition is then re-calculated using conformal field theory techniques, and the equality of the two results is made manifest. It is then demonstrated that there is an exact correspondence between the Wilson coefficients (susceptibilities) in the effective field theory and the weights of the individual excitations of the closed string coherent state on the boundary. We calculate the partition function for the case of three holes where CFT techniques necessitate a closed form for the map from the corresponding closed string pants diagrams. Finally, it is shown that the Wilson coefficients for the case of quartic and higher order kernels, where standard CFT techniques are no longer applicable, can also be completely determined. These techniques can also be applied to the case of non-trivial central charges.  相似文献
