基于光纤Bragg光栅反射波带宽展宽的压力传感研究   总被引:13,自引:9,他引:4  
报道了一种新颖的光纤Bragg光栅压力传感装置,提出并实现了利用光纤Bragg光栅反射波带宽展宽实现压力传感的新方法.利用压力作用下双孔悬臂梁非均匀应变带动光栅使Bragg反射波漂移的同时带宽展宽,实现压力传感.在0~23.5 N的测量范围内,基于光谱分析仪0.05 nm的光谱分辨率,压力分辨率为0.54 N,带宽最大展宽量2.14 nm,压力响应曲线具有良好的线性.多次测量表明:展宽波型稳定,重复性好.  相似文献

通过在光纤Sagnac环中引入对称啁啾光纤光栅,对带有光纤光栅的Sagnac环梳状滤波器进行了改进,克服了原有滤波器工作带宽小、通带间隔不等的缺点.通过对光栅参量进行适当设计,在中等折射率调制度下,可使光栅同时具有高反射率和大反射带宽,结合Sagnac环可得到大带宽、等间隔梳状滤波器.  相似文献

We propose a novel comb filter by using a symmetrical piecewise uniform fiber Bragg grating (S-PUFBG) in a Sagnac interferometer. The filter has wide bandwidth, equal passband spacing, and low insertion loss. The total transmission bandwidth is determined by the number and the parameters of the grating segments, while the transmission spectrum can be cosine modulated to realize comb-like filtering, and the modulating frequency can be controlled by adjusting the fiber length difference in the Sagnac loop.  相似文献

A new technique to observe mesoscopic-range strain fields (up to several hundreds of nm) is proposed, using modulation of the crystal-truncation-rod (CTR) scattering caused by Bragg reflection. This technique is particularly sensitive to small, long-range strain fields near crystal surfaces and interfaces, which are usually difficult to be discriminated by using Bragg reflection. A simple interpretation can be made for the modulation profile: the technique is physically simple with a few parameters fitted to the data and, independently of any model, is able to determine the total displacement due to mesoscopic strain field for depths up to several hundreds of nanometers. We applied this method to a Si(0 0 1) wafer whose surface is covered with a thermal oxide layer 3 nm thick. On the basis of the expressions we obtained for the modulation profile a least-squares fitting was carried out to give a result that under the oxide layer there exists a total displacement of −0.16 Å. It was also revealed from the visibility of the modulation profile that the total displacement has a static fluctuation of at least ±0.13 Å in the lateral direction. The new method can be used for the correction of the errors of the X-ray standing wave (XSW) method produced by strained layers near crystal surfaces.  相似文献

A face-to-face system of double-layer three-dimensional arrays of H-shaped plasmonic crystals is proposed, and its transmission and filtering properties are investigated in the terahertz regime. Simulation results show that our design has excellent filtering properties. It has an ultra-wide bandgap and passband with steep band-edges, and the transmittance of the passband and the forbidden band are very close to 1 and 0, respectively. As the distance between the two face-to-face plates increases, the resonance frequency exhibits a gradual blueshift from 0.88 THz to 1.30 THz. Therefore, we can dynamically control the bandwidths of bandgap and passband by adding a piezoelectric ceramic plate between the two crystal plates. Furthermore, the dispersion relations of modes and electric field distributions are presented to analyze the generation mechanisms of bandgaps and to explain the location of bandgaps and the frequency shift phenomenon. Due to the fact that our design can provide many resonant modes, the bandwidth of the bandgaps can be greatly broadened. This paper can serve as a valuable reference for the design of terahertz functional devices and three-dimensional terahertz metamaterials.  相似文献

A miniaturized 1.55 μm tunable fiber Bragg grating (FGB) filter is proposed and successfully demonstrated using an aluminum ceramic-tube with a tungsten thick film sleeve microheater. Fine tuning of the Bragg reflective wavelength with 0.0135 nm/oC is achieved by adding the constant thermal distribution along the uniform FBG with a 0.3 nm bandwidth. Furthermore, a 1.5 nm linearly chirped reflection bandwidth is obtained by thermal gradient loading.  相似文献

基于遗传算法设计了斜边三角形光纤光栅(EFBG)的折射率调制函数;提出了光纤外径沿轴向变化、在拉应力下可获得可调谐的斜边三角形光纤光栅;计算分析了该器件多个物理参量对反射光谱的影响。在实验中,采用紫外激光扫描辐照方法,制备了短波边斜边带宽为0.7nm、反射率为96%的斜边三角形光纤光栅;采用程序控制氢氟酸腐蚀方法获得外径从原始62.5μm减小到45μm、在85mm长度内按设计要求变化的光纤光栅。对该光纤光栅施加从。到1.715N变化的拉力时,其反射光谱短波边的斜边带宽从0.7nm增加到2.3nm,实现了一种带宽大范围可调的斜边光纤光栅。  相似文献

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel fiber-optic edge filter based on modulating the chirp rate of a π-phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (FBG) operating in transmission mode. The phase shift induced passband in the transmission spectrum is utilized as the edge filter. The dependence of the π-phase-shifted FBG’s transmitted spectral response on the chirp rate has been numerically studied in detail and experimentally confirmed, to the best of our knowledge, for the first time. The linear wavelength range of the proposed edge filter can be tuned by changing the chirp rate of FBG. The edge filter is further tested as a wavelength interrogator, and the experimental results are in good agreement with numerical results. The proposed fiber-optic edge filter has several unique advantages which include simple structure, cost effectiveness, high sensitivity, flexible tunability, and optical circulator is not required, and thus has interesting potential applications, especially as a wavelength interrogator in FBG foot sensors, FBG ultrasound and vibration sensors, and FBG distributed sensors, where the required wavelength ranges are very small (<0.4 nm).  相似文献

对窄带滤光片的倾斜入射特性作了分析.斜入射时其透射通带和峰值会向短波方向移动,透射曲线的稳定性跟滤光片的间隔层结构相关,多腔间使用相同的间隔层可以保证斜入射时有稳定的峰值透射率和带宽,利用该特点可以制备角度调谐窄带滤光片.透射光S和P偏振分量的中心波长随入射角度的增大出现分离现象,产生较大的偏振相关损耗.通过搭配不同厚度的高低折射率材料作为间隔层,改变其有效折射率,使其两个偏振分量的中心波长实现重合.设计了符合密集波分复用(Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing,DWDM)系统要求的低偏振相关损耗四腔窄带角度调谐滤光片膜系,其可调谐范围达20 nm以上,并评估了所设计角度调谐滤光片的调谐性能.  相似文献

采用基于Ansoft HFSS的电磁仿真平台,研究了一个工作于Ka波段(37.5 GHz附近)的缺陷态同轴布拉格波导在不同的开槽方式及缺陷位置条件下的传输特性。结果表明:该波导只有在内外导体壁单面开槽并引入缺陷,或者双面开槽且两个开槽面同时引入缺陷的条件下才能够有效地产生出传输通带;对于后者而言,将内外导体壁的波纹初始相位差设置为且让缺陷位于波导中间时,可以获得带宽极窄、阻带抑制范围较宽的传输通带,此时,给内外导体壁的缺陷引入适度的错位能够对通带的中心频率、带宽等性能指标起到微调作用,而引入大间距的错位则能够在禁带中产生出多个通带,从而起到多通道滤波的作用。  相似文献

基于Kogelnik理论模型,以平面波为入射光,分析了双体布拉格光栅(VBG)的反馈特性。理论分析表明,采用双VBG结构,通过控制两个VBG的中心波长差,可以使光栅反馈的效率提高,带宽加宽。对于由两块带宽100 pm、衍射效率20%的VBG组成的双VBG反馈系统,中心波长相同时,衍射效率最大(33.3%);中心波长相差84 pm时,其带宽为单VBG带宽的1.8倍(180 pm)。由于VBG的中心波长存在温度漂移特性,因此通过改变双VBG结构中VBG的温度可以实现衍射效率和带宽的改变,为泵浦源的优化提供有效可行的方法。  相似文献

We propose a new method for the development of a tunable optical bandpass filter (TOBF) based on a linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating (LCFBG). A NiCr wire heater is used to heat the LCFBG at a small point to introduce a narrow passband within the stop band of the LCFBG. The central wavelength of the passband is tuned by scanning the wire heater along the LCFBG. As an example demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method, we demonstrate a TOBF with a very small 3-dB bandwidth of approximately 7 pm, a tuning range of 16.4 nm, and a rejection ratio of more than 25 dB. Compared with previously reported tunable-fiber-based bandpass filters, this method provides the advantages of a large tuning range, continuous tunability, a switchable passband, a simple tuning mechanism, low cost, and narrow bandwidth.  相似文献

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel switchable and discretely tunable comb filter based on a thermally induced linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating. Experimentally we achieved a thermally induced optical bandpass filter that has eight switchable passband peaks with peak separations of 1.6 and 3.2 nm, a very narrow bandwidth (as small as 10 pm) of each peak, a tunable range of 16.5 nm, and a greater than 25 dB rejection ratio. Two spectral peaks separated by only 0.8 nm were also obtained with this comb filter. This filter provides the unique advantages of an all-fiber structure, switchable spectral peaks, independent tuning of the center wavelength and wavelength spacing of the spectral peaks, low polarization sensitivity, simple structure, ease of fabrication, and low cost.  相似文献

为了拓宽光纤耦合器的使用范围,开发光纤耦合器的新功能,采用熔锥技术制作波长敏感耦合器,该耦合器在分光的同时对波长敏感。通过耦合理论验证实验结果,实验数据与理论值相符合。实验中得到波长灵敏度最大值为17.86%/nm的耦合器。采用拉锥工艺制作波长敏感耦合器工艺简单,耦合比峰值对应波长控制易于实现。该耦合器可用于光纤光栅布拉格波长漂移解调。令待解调光纤光栅布拉格波长与耦合器波长灵敏度最大值对应的波长一致,当波长发生漂移时,耦合器输出耦合比发生变化。自制的波长敏感耦合器实现了对布拉格波长为1566.71 nm光纤光栅波长漂移的解调,波长漂移1.80 nm,耦合比变化20.34%。此种解调方式具有光路简单,易于与光纤匹配的优点,可以应用在大型建筑中光纤光栅的健康监测。  相似文献

We proposed and experimentally demonstrated an all-fiber structured programmable optical bandpass filter (waveshaper) based on a linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating and a digital-controlled thermal array. The key parameters of this filter such as the number of transmission channels, passing bandwidth per channel, central wavelength as well as the channel spacing can be reconfigured independently and flexibly by a program-controlled circuit. We have achieved in experiments the tunable passing bandwidth ranging from < 0.04 to 1.55 nm, adjustable central wavelength ranging from 1,547.16 to 1,558.64 nm, and a minimum wavelength spacing of 0.91 nm. The insertion loss of the whole device and the sideband rejection ratio are about 1.76 and 28 dB, respectively.  相似文献

The design and the deposition of a rugate filter for broadband applications are discussed.The bandwidth is extended by increasing the rugate period continuously with depth.The width and the smoothness of the reflection band with the distribution of the periods are investigated.The improvement of the steepness of the stopband edges and the suppression of the side lobes in the transmission zone are realized by adding two apodized rugate structures with fixed periods at the external broadband rugate filter interfaces.The rapidly alternating deposition technology is used to fabricate a rugate filter sample.The measured transmission spectrum with a reflection bandwidth of approximately 505 nm is close to that of the designed broadband rugate filter except a transmittance peak in the stopband.Based on the analysis of the cross-sectional scanning electron microscopic image of the sample,it is found that the transmission peak is most likely to be caused by the instability of the deposition rate.  相似文献

讨论了利用GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs多量子阱构成的一维光子晶体实现窄带滤波的原理.研究了外加电场下GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs多量子阱的激子吸收所导致的反常色散行为.研究发现,在反常色散材料的共振频率附近,存在一个较强色散且吸收很小的区域,该区域内的色散可以在PCs的带隙中产生一个窄的通频带,其对应的最大透过率约为0.73,全固态滤光器的带宽约为4.9 nm,并可利用外加电场进行调谐,这将为设计一种全新的固态滤波器提供指导.  相似文献

A new type of wavelength selective filter, based on high differential dispersion between two coupled waveguides, is presented. The Bragg Reflection Waveguide displays high effective refractive index dispersion, due to the interaction of the guided mode with the two confining Bragg reflectors. When coupled with a weakly guided buried channel silica waveguide, a very narrow bandwidth filter (<1 nm) can be easily produced, in a shorter length, with respect to directional couplers made with standard step index channel waveguides. 报道了利用单光纤布拉格光栅反射波带宽展宽技术实现温度与压力同时区分测量的新方案。通过聚合物材料将光栅粘接于双孔悬臂梁非均匀应变区 ,在压力作用下悬臂梁带动光栅发生非均匀应变 ,使布拉格反射波波长漂移的同时带宽展宽 ,而温度变化仅引起反射波波长漂移。在 2 0~ 10 0℃和 0~ 7.8N的温度和压力测量范围内 ,温度测量精度± 1.1℃ ,压力测量精度± 0 .18N ,布拉格反射波中心波长漂移量和带宽展宽量随温度和压力的变化呈良好的线性关系 ,线性度均高于 99.6 %。多次测量表明 ,此方案的展宽波形稳定 ,重复性好。  相似文献

A new compact bandpass filter composed of two coupled linear tapered line resonators (LTLRs) is designed. The two resonators are arranged in different layers. The filter has two transmission zeros on both sides of the passband. It has small size and steep response below its passband. It is also shown that this filter has 0.6 dB low insertion loss at the centre frequency and 10.5% 3dB bandwidth.
