提出了一种采用Damman光栅和球面透镜组合光学系统产生二维光阱阵列的新方案. 在使用红失谐高斯激光束照射的条件下,推导了计算光阱阵列的周期、光强分布、光强梯度和光阱几何参数的经验公式,讨论了此光阱阵列的特点以及在原子光学和分子光学中的应用. 研究结果表明,这种光阱阵列方案比已有的光阱阵列方案更为简单可行、操作方便,非常适用于冷原子或冷分子的阵列囚禁,以及制备新颖的光学晶格.

传统的光镊技术使用单个物镜同时进行光学捕获与显微成像,使得捕获与成像区域被限制在物镜焦平面附近,无法同时观察到沿光轴方向(即Z向)捕获的多个微粒.本文提出一种轴平面(XZ平面)GerchbergSaxton迭代算法来产生沿轴向分布的多光阱阵列,将轴平面成像技术与光镊结合,实现了沿轴向对二氧化硅微球的多光阱同时捕获与实时观测.通过视频分析法测量了多个二氧化硅微球在轴向光镊阵列中的布朗运动,并标定了光阱刚度.本文提出的轴向多光阱微粒捕获与实时观测技术为光学微操纵提供了一个新的观测视角和操纵方法,为生物医学、物理学等相关领域研究提供了一种新的技术手段. 相似文献

Performances of an all-optical subtracted joint transform correlator that uses a photorefractive crystal 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
An all-optical subtracted joint transform correlator (JTC) was proposed and it was experimentally shown that the correlator successfully performs the pattern recognition with the number of reference patterns. In the correlator, an optical interferometer was introduced to remove the additional correlation signals between the reference patterns themselves from the output plane and a photorefractive crystal was also introduced to record the joint power spectra as volume holograms. The processing for removing the additional correlation signals was performed by the parallel computations in the interferometer in real time. In this study it has been found that the correlator yields significantly better correlation results than the classical joint transform correlator does and the recording of the volume hologram corresponds to a nonlinear processing of the joint power spectrum in the fringe-adjusted joint transform correlator. However the volume hologram has angular selectivity for matching the Bragg condition. It would restrict the shift-invariant area of the input image plane. Various organic scintillators are commonly used as the detecting material for neutrons, but these detectors are less sensitive to gamma rays. In particular, stilbene crystals and BC501A (NE213, EJ301) have good pulse-shape discrimination (PSD) between neutron and gamma-ray events, and have been selected as the media for fast-neutron detection among the organic, inorganic and plastic materials in a mixed radiation field. Although some of the scintillation characteristics of stilbene crystals have been studied, the detailed scintillation characteristics of the crystal are not completely understood. In this study, the light yield, decay time and pulse shape discrimination capability of a stilbene crystal were measured because this crystal is an optimized detector in a large flux of neutrons such as those might be found in cyclotron and charged particle accelerator facilities. The pulse-shape discrimination of neutrons and gamma rays with a stilbene crystal was measured using a 252Cf neutron source at room temperature. A neutron tagger module was used for the neutron and gamma separation using the charge comparison method in real time. The total pulse width for the charge integration and the delay from the peak-to tail start time were optimized for a better neutron and gamma separation. The relative light yield and decay time of the stilbene crystal scintillator were also measured. 相似文献

All optical phase-only filtering correlator is constructed with an optically addressed ferroelectric liquid-crystal spatial
light modulator (FSLM) for a binarized input object and a twisted-nematic liquid-crystal spatial-light modulator for a computer-generated
phase-only filter. In order to improve the discrimination capability of a phase-only filtering correlator, a binarized amplitude
with maximum contrast in a FSLM is used for an object input. The contrast of binarized intensities can be maximized by adjusting
the rotation angles of a FSLM and polarizers. The threshold level of binarized input objects can be controlled by changing
the power of a laser incident on a FLSM. Experimental results with a high discrimination capability are presented to support
