The xNb2O5-(15-x)La2O3-40B2O3-45BaO (x = 5, 7,5, 12.5 mol%) glasses doped with Eu3 mol% are fabricated by the melting method. The Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, phonon sideband spectra, emission and excitation spectra of the glasses are measured. The crystal field parameter and coordination number of Eu3 ions in the glasses are obtained according to the splitting of their 5D0 - 7F1 levels. The intensity parametersΩ2 andΩ4 of Eu3 ions for optical transition are calculated from their emission spectra in terms of reduced matrix U(t) (λ= 2, 4, 6) character for optical transitions. The results indicate that the intensity parametersΩ2 andΩ4 increase with the increase of Nb2O5 content, suggesting that the symmetry becomes lower, the band of Eu and O atoms becomes stronger and the covalence increases with the increase of Nb2O5 content.  相似文献

Ho3+/Yb3+co-doped Li YF4 single crystals with various Yb3+concentrations and ~ 0.98 mol% Ho3+concentration are grown by the Bridgman method under the conditions of taking Li F and YF3 as raw materials and a temperature gradient(40°C/cm–50°C/cm) for the solid–liquid interface.The luminescent performances of the crystals are investigated through emission spectra,infrared transmittance spectrum,emission cross section,and decay curves under excitation by 980 nm.Compared with the Ho3+single-doped Li YF4 crystal,the Ho3+/Yb3+co-doped Li YF4 single crystal has an obviously enhanced emission band from 1850 nm to 2150 nm observed when excited by a 980-nm diode laser.The energy transfer from Yb3+to Ho3+and the optimum fluorescence emission around 2.0 μm of Ho3+ions are investigated.The maximum emission cross section of the above sample at 2.0 μm is calculated to be 1.08×10-20cm2 for the Li YF4 single crystal of1-mol% Ho3+and 6-mol% Yb3+according to the measured absorption spectrum.The high energy transfer efficiency of88.9% from Yb3+to Ho3+ion in the sample co-doped by Ho3+(1 mol%) and Yb3+(8 mol%) demonstrates that the Yb3+ions can efficiently sensitize the Ho3+ions.  相似文献

Different concentrations of Mg~(2+) -doped hexagonal phase NaGdF_4:Yb~(3+), Er~(3+)nanocrystals(NCs) were synthesized by a modified solvothermal method. Successful codoping of Mg~(2+)ions in upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs) was supported by XRD, SEM, EDS, and PL analyses. The effects of Mg~(2+)doping on the morphology and the intensity of the upconversion(UC) emission were discussed in detail. It turned out that with the concentration of Mg~(2+)increasing, the morphology of the nanoparticles turn to change gradually and the UC emission was increasing gradually as well. Notably the UC fluorescence intensities of Er~(3+)were gradually improved owing to the codoped Mg~(2+)and then achieved a maximum level as the concentration of Mg~(2+)ions was 60 mol% from the amendment of the crystal structure of β-NaGdF_4:Yb~(3+),Er~(3+)nanoparticles. Moreover, the UC luminescence properties of the rare-earth(Yb3+, Er~(3+)) ions codoped NaGdF_4 nanocrystals were investigated in detail under 980-nm excitation.  相似文献

Erbium-doped glass showing the wider 1.5-um emission band is reported in a novel oxide system TeO2-WO3-Nb2O5 and their thermal stability and optical properties such as absorption, emission spectra, cross-sections and fluorescence lifetime were investigated. Compared with other glass hosts, the gain bandwidth properties of Er3+ in TWN glass is close to that of bismuth glasses, and larger than those of tellurite, germanate, silicate and phosphate glasses. The broad and flat 4I13/2-4I15/2 emission and the large stimulated emission cross-section of Er3+ ions around 1.5um can be used as host material for potential broadband optical amplifier in the wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) network system.  相似文献

There are three broad absorption bands around 891, 937, and 971 nm, respectively. The strongest emission peak is centred at 1.04 μm with a broad bandwidth (11 nm) and an emission cross-section of 1.8×10 20 cm 2 . The gain coefficient implies a possible laser ability in a range from 990 nm to 1425 nm. The energy-level structure shows that Yb:Sc 2 O 3 ceramics have large Stark splitting at the ground state level due to their strong crystal field. All the results show that Yb:Sc2O3 transparent ceramics are a promising material for short pulse lasers.  相似文献

P2O5.BaO.Na2O.K2O glasses doped with various content of Eu2O3 were prepared using high temperature melting method, and the Eu2+ ions in the phosphate glasses were obtained with the aid of the reductive action of silicon powder. The fabricating conditions, fluorescence, excitation spectra of the glasses were then studied. The glasses containing europium show a broad emission band at 450 nm and sharp bands from 580 to 650 nm, and the co-existence of Eu2+ and Eu3+ is identified. Also, a good glass with a dominant proportion and large quantity of Eu2+ ions can be obtained by the reductive action of silicon powder and proper processing.  相似文献

Two series of Yb3+-doped silica glasses (YA and YAP) are fabricated using the sol-gel method, and their spectroscopic properties are investigated. The longest fluorescence lifetime of 0.96 ms is obtained in YAP2 and YAP3 glasses. The emission cross-section (σemi) and σemi ×τ of Yb3+ in the YAP1 glass are 1.00 pm2 and 0.94 pm2·ms, respectively. Co-doping with Al and P decreases the hydroxyl group content in the glasses because of the reduction in non-bridging oxygen content. The lowest OH content in the YAP3 glass is 9.6 ppm.  相似文献

TiO2/ormosil films doped with kiton red have been prepared by the sol-gel method. Spectroscopic properties of the entrapped dye are studied by absorption and emission techniques. The results indicate that the absorption and fluorescence spectra of kiton red depend strongly on the properties of the ormosil matrices. The heattreatment of dye-doped film leads to the increasing fluorescence intensity and the largest intensity is obtained after heat-treatment of 150℃.  相似文献

The influences of the substituent base position on the excited state intramolecular proton transfer fluorescence properties were explored in 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)imidazo[1,2-a]-pyridine(HPIP)and HPIP's derivatives(5'Br-HPIP and 6'BrHPIP).And the density functional theory(DFT)and time-dependent DFT(TD-DFT)methods were used to calculate the molecule structures.The calculated results showed that the influence of 5'Br-HPIP on the fluorescence intensity is stronger than that of 6'Br-HPIP.The fluorescence emission peak of 5'Br-HPIP occurred a blue shift compared with HPIP,and 6'BrHPIP exhibited an opposite red shift.The change of the fluorescence emission peak was attributed to the decrease of the energy gap from 6'Br-HPIP to 5'Br-HPIP.Our work on the substituent position influence could be helpful to design and develop new materials.  相似文献

A systematic investigation on fluorescence spectroscopy of trivalent thulium doped in oxyfluoride glass ceramics containing LaF3 nanocrystals has been carried out in a spectral range from 400 to 900 nm under the direct excitation of 1D2 level at a low temperature. Specific optical transitions related to the fluorescence emissions are studied based on experimental measurements in frequency and time domain. Fluorescence emissions from the ions in crystal phase are distinguished from what in glass phase and their spectroscopic properties are explored. The dynamical process shows that the temporal decay of fluorescence emission consists of two parts: a rapid decay from the ions in glass phase and a slower decay from the ions in crystal phase.  相似文献

Ni–Zn ferrite and Bi_2O_3 composites were developed by the sol-gel method. The structural, magnetic, and dielectric properties were studied for all the prepared samples. X-ray diffraction(XRD) was performed to study the crystal structure.The results of field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) showed that the addition of Bi_2O_3 can increase the grain size of the Ni–Zn ferrite. Magnetic properties were analyzed by a hysteresis loop test and it was found that the saturation magnetization and coercivity decreased with the increase of Bi_2O_3 ratio. In addition, the dielectric properties of the Ni–Zn ferrite were also improved with the addition of Bi_2O_3.  相似文献

Four kinds of Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) thin films with different Y2O3 contents (from 0 to 12 mol%) are deposited on BK7 glass substrates by electron-beam evaporation method. The effects of different Y2O3 dopant contents on residual stress, structure, and optical properties of ZrO2 thin films are investigated. The results show that residual stress in YSZ thin films varies from tensile to compressive with the increase of Y2O3 molar content. The addition of Y2O3 is beneficial to the crystallization of YSZ thin film and transformation from amorphous to high temperature phase, and the refractive index decreases with the increase of Y2O3 molar content. Moreover, the variations of residual stress and the shifts of refractive index correspond to the evolution of structures induced by the addition of Y2O3.  相似文献

The thermal properties of 68TeO2-15BaF2-5SrF2-10LaF3-2KF glass were measured by different temperature analysis (DTA). Up-conversion luminescence of Er3 ion in the obtained glass was investigated. Mechanism of up-conversion emission was discussed. The result shows that the obtained oxyfluoride tel-lurite glass 68TeO2-15BaF2-5SrF2-10LaF3-2KF has a good thermal stability (△T = 153.6℃) and strong up-conversion green emissions around 527 nm and 549 nm and red emission at 660 nm. This glass can be a promising host material for up-conversion fiber lasers.  相似文献
