<正>This paper investigates cascading failures in networks by considering interplay between the flow dynamic and the network topology,where the fluxes exchanged between a pair of nodes can be adaptively adjusted depending on the changes of the shortest path lengths between them.The simulations on both an artificially created scale-free network and the real network structure of the power grid reveal that the adaptive adjustment of the fluxes can drastically enhance the robustness of complex networks against cascading failures.Particularly,there exists an optimal region where the propagation of the cascade is significantly suppressed and the fluxes supported by the network are maximal. With this understanding,a costless strategy of defense for preventing cascade breakdown is proposed.It is shown to be more effective for suppressing the propagation of the cascade than the recent proposed strategy of defense based on the intentional removal of nodes.  相似文献

A cyber-physical supply network is composed of an undirected cyber supply network and a directed physical supply network. Such interdependence among firms increases efficiency but creates more vulnerabilities. The adverse effects of any failure can be amplified and propagated throughout the network. This paper aimed at investigating the robustness of the cyber-physical supply network against cascading failures. Considering that the cascading failure is triggered by overloading in the cyber supply network and is provoked by underload in the physical supply network, a realistic cascading model for cyber-physical supply networks is proposed. We conducted a numerical simulation under cyber node and physical node failure with varying parameters. The simulation results demonstrated that there are critical thresholds for both firm’s capacities, which can determine whether capacity expansion is helpful; there is also a cascade window for network load distribution, which can determine the cascading failures occurrence and scale. Our work may be beneficial for developing cascade control and defense strategies in cyber-physical supply networks.  相似文献

较大平均路径长度的网络会带来较大的网络延迟, 难以支持时间敏感业务与应用. 通过增加连接可以降低源和目的节点之间的跳数, 进而降低网络平均延迟, 使得更加快速地传播信息, 但是增加连接的同时也增加了网络构建成本. 分层网络是研究网络耦合的一个有效方法, 但目前网络构建过程中将每层网络分别处理并认为每层网络之间没有强相关性. 本文提出了一种面向成本-收益的无标度网络动态构建方法. 此方法将网络分为多层, 基于连续论在高层网络中添加连接, 使得网络演化为无标度网络. 此连续过程包括节点度增加过程和局部网络半径增长两个连续过程, 在增加连接的过程中引入表征网络构建成本和收益的成本-收益指标. 模拟结果表明引入成本-收益指标的无标度耦合网络构建方法能够在合理范围内有效降低网络平均路径长度, 提升网络性能, 并且本文给出了耦合网络的动态业务性能, 通过调整高层网络避免网络拥塞.  相似文献

相依网络的相依模式(耦合模式)是影响其鲁棒性的重要因素之一.本文针对具有无标度特性的两个子网络提出一种全局同质化相依网络耦合模式.该模式以子网络的总度分布均匀化为原则建立相依网络的相依边,一方面压缩度分布宽度,提高其对随机失效的抗毁性,另一方面避开对度大节点(关键节点)的相依,提高其对蓄意攻击的抗毁性.论文将其与常见的节点一对一的同配、异配及随机相依模式以及一对多随机相依模式作了对比分析,仿真研究其在随机失效和蓄意攻击下的鲁棒性能.研究结果表明,本文所提全局同质化相依网络耦合模式能大大提高无标度子网络所构成的相依网络抗级联失效能力.本文研究成果能够为相依网络的安全设计等提供指导意义.  相似文献

Exponential random graph models (ERGMs) are powerful tools for formulating theoretical models of network generation or learning the properties of empirical networks. They can be used to construct models that exactly reproduce network properties of interest. However, tuning these models correctly requires computationally intractable maximization of the probability of a network of interest—maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). We discuss methods of approximate MLE and show that, though promising, simulation based methods pose difficulties in application because it is not known how much simulation is required. An alternative to simulation methods, maximum pseudolikelihood estimation (MPLE), is deterministic and has known asymptotic properties, but standard methods of assessing uncertainty with MPLE perform poorly. We introduce a resampling method that greatly outperforms the standard approach to characterizing uncertainty with MPLE. We also introduce ERGMs for dynamic networks—temporal ERGM (TERGM). In an application to modeling cosponsorship networks in the United States Senate, we show how recently proposed methods for dynamic network modeling can be integrated into the TERGM framework, and how our resampling method can be used to characterize uncertainty about network dynamics.  相似文献

近年来,航空电子全双工交换式以太网(AFDX)是使用广泛的新一代航空总线;国内对其研究缺乏相关技术支持;传统AFDX网络测试技术存在数据交互测试准确性差、测试时间长、人员开销大、测试数据层深度匮乏等问题,针对上述问题形成的原因,提出AFDX网络测试3+1整合法设计;采用数据整流测试技术(DVSER)、动态特征交互绑定技术(HDBD)与数据智能定位技术(HGYD)对产生的问题进行针对性解决;通过仿真实验测试证明,提出的AFDX网络测试3+1整合法的各项测试数据优于传统测试方法。  相似文献

The robustness of urban bus network is essential to a city that heavily relies on buses as its main transportation solution. In this paper, the urban bus network has been modeled as a directed and space L network, and Changsha, a transportation hub of nearly 8 million people and hundreds of bus lines in southern China, is taken as a case. Based on the quantitative analyses of the topological properties, it is found that Changsha urban bus network is a scale-free network, not a small-world network. To evaluate the robustness of the network, five scenarios of network failure are simulated, including a random failure and four types of intentional attacks that differed in key node identification methods (i.e., unweighted degree or betweenness centrality) and attack strategies (i.e., normal or cascading attack). It is revealed that intentional attacks are more destructive than a random failure, and cascading attacks are more disruptive than normal attacks in the urban bus network. In addition, the key nodes identification methods are found to play a critical role in the robustness of the urban bus network. Specifically, cascading attack could be more disruptive when the betweenness centrality is used to identify key nodes; in contrast, normal attack could be more disruptive when the unweighted degree is used to identify key nodes. Our results could provide reference for risk management of urban bus network.  相似文献

为分析公交复杂网络的拓扑性质, 本文以北京市为例, 选取截止到2010年7月的北京全市(14区、2县)的1165条公交线路和9618个公交站点为样本数据, 运用复杂网络理论构建起基于邻接站点的有向加权复杂网络模型. 该方法以公交站点作为节点, 相邻站点之间的公交线路作为边, 使得网络既具有复杂网络的拓扑性质同时节点(站点)又具有明确的地理坐标. 对网络中节点度、点强度、强度分布、平均最短路径、聚类系数等性质的分析显示, 公交复杂网络的度和点强度分布极为不均, 网络中前5%和前10%节点的累计强度分布分别达到22.43%和43.02%; 点强度与排列序数、累积强度分布都服从幂律分布, 具有无标度和小世界的网络特点, 少数关键节点在网络中发挥着重要的连接作用. 为分析复杂网络中的关键节点, 本文通过承载压力分析和基于"掠夺" 的区域中心节点提取两种方法, 得到了公交复杂网络中两类不同表现的关键节点. 这些规律也为优化城市公交网络及交通规划发展提供了新的参考建议.  相似文献

In this paper, an evolutionary model of bus transport network in B-space is developed. It includes the effect of the overlapping ratio of new route on network performance and overcomes the disadvantage, i.e. lack of economic consideration, in the evolutionary bus transport network model in P-space proposed by Chen et al (2007). The degree distribution functions are derived by using the mean-field method and the master equation method, separately. The relationship between the new stop ratio of a route, λ, and the error in exponential of degree distribution function from the mean-field method is developed as ASlope= λ/(1 -λ) + ln(1-λ). Finally, the bus transport networks of Hangzhou and Nanjing are simulated by using this model, and the results show that some characteristic index values of the simulated networks are closer to the empirical data than those from Chen's model.  相似文献

Complex networks may undergo a global cascade of overload failures when a single highly loaded vertex or edge is intentionally attacked. Here we use the recent load model of cascading failures to investigate the performance of the small-world (SW) and scale-free (SF) networks subject to deliberate attacks on vertex and edge. Simulation results suggest that compared with the SW network, the SF network is more vulnerable to deliberate vertex attacks and more robust to deliberate edge attacks. In the SF network, deliberate vertex attacks can result in larger cascading failures than deliberate edge attacks; however, in the SW network the situation is opposite. Furthermore, with the increase of the rewiring probability the SW network becomes more and more robust to deliberate vertex and edge attacks.  相似文献

本文运用复杂网络理论, 对我国北京、上海、广州和深圳等城市的地铁网络进行了实证研究. 分别研究了地铁网络的度分布、聚类系数和平均路径长度. 研究表明, 该网络具有高的聚类系数和短的平均路径长度, 显示小世界网络的特征, 其度分布并不严格服从幂律分布或指数分布, 而是呈多段的分布, 显示层次网络的特征. 此外, 它还具有重叠的社团结构特征. 基于实证研究的结果, 提出一种基于社团结构的交通网络模型, 并对该模型进行了模拟分析, 模拟结果表明, 该模型的模拟结果与实证研究结果相符. 此外, 该模型还能解释其他类型的复杂网络(如城市公共汽车交通网络)的网络特性. 关键词: 复杂网络 地铁网络 小世界 社团  相似文献

Electric power networks have been studied as a typical example of real-world complex networks. Traditional models for structural vulnerability analysis appear to be all based on physical topological structure. In this paper, we depict a typical power network as a weighted graph based on electrical topology by introducing its bus admittance matrix, which embodies the important characteristics of power networks in a much more realistic structure. Furthermore, the numerical simulation for both the traditional dynamical model and the proposed electrical topological model are investigated based on the IEEE 300 bus system respectively. The comparison demonstrates that the improved model is more precise and highly efficient for the analysis of structural vulnerability of power networks.  相似文献

There is an explicit and implicit assumption in multimodal traffic equilibrium models, that is, if the equilibrium exists, then it will also occur. The assumption is very idealized; in fact, it may be shown that the quite contrary could happen, because in multimodal traffic network, especially in mixed traffic conditions the interaction among traffic modes is asymmetric and the asymmetric interaction may result in the instability of traffic system. In this paper, to study the stability of multimodal traffic system, we respectively present the travel cost function in mixed traffic conditions and in traffic network with dedicated bus lanes. Based on a day-to-day dynamical model, we study the evolution of daily route choice of travelers in multimodal traffic network using 10000 random initial values for different cases. From the results of simulation, it can be concluded that the asymmetric interaction between the cars and buses in mixed traffic conditions can lead the traffic system to instability when traffic demand is larger. We also study the effect of travelers' perception error on the stability of multimodal traffic network. Although the larger perception error can alleviate the effect of interaction between cars and buses and improve the stability of traffic system in mixed traffic conditions, the traffic system also become instable when the traffic demand is larger than a number. For all cases simulated in this study, with the same parameters, traffic system with dedicated bus lane has better stability for traffic demand than that in mixed traffic conditions. We also find that the network with dedicated bus lane has higher portion of travelers by bus than it of mixed traffic network. So it can be concluded that building dedicated bus lane can improve the stability of traffic system and attract more travelers to choose bus reducing the traffic congestion.  相似文献

In this paper, a variable disparity estimation (VDE)-based intermediate view reconstruction (IVR) in dynamic flow allocation (DFA) over an Ethernet passive optical network (EPON)-based access network is proposed. In the proposed system, the stereoscopic images are estimated by a variable block-matching algorithm (VBMA), and they are transmitted to the receiver through DFA over EPON. This scheme improves a priority-based access network by converting it to a flow-based access network with a new access mechanism and scheduling algorithm, and then 16-view images are synthesized by the IVR using VDE. Some experimental results indicate that the proposed system improves the peak-signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) to as high as 4.86 dB and reduces the processing time to 3.52 s. Additionally, the network service provider can provide upper limits of transmission delays by the flow. The modeling and simulation results, including mathematical analyses, from this scheme are also provided.  相似文献

A new approach to passive electromagnetic modelling of coupled–cavity quantum cascade lasers is presented in this paper. One of challenges in the rigorous analysis of such eigenvalue problem is its large size as compared to wavelength and a high quality factor, which prompts for substantial computational efforts. For those reasons, it is proposed in this paper to consider such a coupled-cavity Fabry-Perot resonant structure with partially transparent mirrors as a two-port network, which can be considered as a deterministic problem. Thanks to such a novel approach, passive analysis of an electrically long laser can be split into a cascade of relatively short sections having low quality factor, thus, substantially speeding up rigorous electromagnetic analysis of the whole quantum cascade laser. The proposed method allows to determine unequivocally resonant frequencies of the structure and the corresponding spectrum of a threshold gain. Eventually, the proposed method is used to elaborate basic synthesis rules of coupled–cavity quantum cascade lasers.  相似文献

Many bus transport networks(BTNs) have evolved into directed networks. A new representation model for BTNs is proposed, called directed-space P. The bus transport network of Harbin(BTN-H) is described as a directed and weighted complex network by the proposed representation model and by giving each node weights. The topological and weighted properties are revealed in detail. In-degree and out-degree distributions, in-weight and out-weight distributions are presented as an exponential law, respectively. There is a strong relation between in-weight and in-degree(also between out-weight and out-degree), which can be fitted by a power function. Degree–degree and weight–weight correlations are investigated to reveal that BTN-H has a disassortative behavior as the nodes have relatively high degree(or weight). The disparity distributions of out-degree and in-degree follow an approximate power-law. Besides, the node degree shows a near linear increase with the number of routes that connect to the corresponding station. These properties revealed in this paper can help public transport planners to analyze the status quo of the BTN in nature.  相似文献
