为实现基于微透镜阵列的高功率半导体激光器堆栈光束整形,对带有快轴准直透镜的高功率半导体激光器堆栈慢轴光束准直技术进行研究。在慢轴光束准直理论分析基础上,着重研究了慢轴填充因子对其光束准直的影响,并对不同填充因子的半导体激光器慢轴光束准直方案进行了分析。针对实际使用的填充因子0.5的高功率半导体激光器堆栈采用以Bar条为单元进行整体准直设计,并采用基于空间扫描法的发散角测试装置对慢轴准直后剩余发散角进行测试,实现准直后剩余发散角半角2.12°,实验表明该准直方法的有效性。  相似文献

采用光束整形和空间合束的方法,研制出高功率、高效率多阵列光纤耦合半导体激光模块。将波长为976nm连续工作的5个标准半导体阵列,通过对快轴进行准直和快慢轴光束旋转的方式进行光束整形,准直后进行空间合束,经耦合透镜聚焦,耦合入芯径400μm、数值孔径0.22的光纤。测量结果显示:光纤的出光功率最大可达到327 W,光纤耦合效率大于93.6%。  相似文献

基于mini-bar的光纤耦合是一种进一步提高二极管激光器光纤耦合系统出光亮度的有效方法。本文对Osram公司的一款连续60 W mini-bar的发光特性进行了实验研究,选用的mini-bar在工作电流60 A时输出功率60 W,电光转换效率最大为60%,中心波长973.7 nm,慢轴发散角为9.3(1/e2)。分析了其慢轴准直的特性,了解慢轴准直透镜的选择原则。器件准直后的慢轴发散角为47.6 mrad。通过对光束参量积的计算了解到mini-bar的光束可以直接耦合进入600 m的光纤,并进行了单片mini-bar的耦合实验,得到准直系统与耦合透镜组的传输效率为83%~85%,光纤的耦合效率为86%~93%,整个系统的光光效率大于72%。  相似文献

运用光线追迹的方法,讨论了异轴双半圆柱透镜准直半导体激光光束的效率.数值模拟结果表明,异轴双半圆柱透镜可用于准直半导体激光光束,在最佳准直时,透镜材料的折射率允许高于2;当折射率在一定的范围内变化时,其准直效率随折射率的增大而提高.理论上可以将半导体激光器输出光束快轴方向的发散角压缩到0.1 mrad量级以下.  相似文献

为了进一步提高多单管半导体激光器的输出功率,通过对常见的阶梯型多单管半导体阵列进行分析,提出在光斑尺寸较小的慢轴方向对光束进行填充,在同样的耦合条件下,使更多的激光能量耦合进光纤中,实现更高功率的输出。文中使用光参数积作为评价光束质量的指标,论证了慢轴光束填充的可行性,利用ZEMAX仿真软件对8路常见阶梯型多单管半导体阵列和12路填充阵列进行对比仿真,在不影响耦合效率的前提下,实现了将12路波长为860 nm、输出功率3 W的单管半导体激光器耦合进芯径105 μm、数值孔径0.22的光纤中,光纤输出功率为33.4 W,光纤耦合效率为92.78%。仿真结果表明,对慢轴方向进行光束填充可以在一定程度上提高多单管半导体激光的功率输出。  相似文献

在长距离无线光通信中,接收点光功率密度与光束发散角平方呈反比关系,为了获得小的发散角和大的功率耦合效率,要求准直系统有较大的数值孔径(NA),但数值孔径过大会增加像差,因此合理设计功率耦合效率与准直系统的数值孔径就非常重要。该文对半导体激光器光束准直系统中功率耦合效率进行了研究,给出了半导体激光器光束功率耦合效率与k(孔径半径与孔径处等效光束半径之比)的关系表达式,并结合激光器光束准直系统,给出了半导体激光器光束功率耦合效率与准直系统数值孔径的关系表达式。该研究结论对于半导体激光器光束准直系统设计具有参考作用。  相似文献

针对半导体激光器的发光特点,设计了半导体激光器的光束整形系统。首先采用柱透镜准直和偏转沿Y轴发散的光束;然后再采用望远系统对X轴发散的光束进行准直和扩束;最后采用弯月透镜对发射光束压缩,实现半导体激光器的光束整形,降低光束发散角,提高光束质量。利用ZEMAX软件模拟系统,结果表明,整形后输出光束沿X轴和Y轴的发散角变为4.922mrad,输出光斑直径为1.2707mm,整形系统总长度为65.6618mm,各元件的最大直径为20.52mm,输出光束质量和系统结构都优于同类产品。  相似文献

针对目前铜、金等金属材料加工的实际应用需求,开展了连续输出功率500 W的光纤耦合输出蓝光半导体激光加工光源研究。基于平面窗口TO封装的蓝光半导体激光单管器件,设计采用长后工作距的快轴准直镜和慢轴准直镜分别准直,获得低发散角、高光束质量的单元准直光束;结合二维空间合束、偏振合束和光纤耦合,将144个蓝光单管器件耦合进200μm/NA 0.22光纤,通过ZEMAX软件对半导体激光光路进行光线追踪模拟;并从实验上实现,3 A电流驱动下,200μm/NA 0.22光纤输出连续功率523 W,电光转换效率29%。该激光光源具有直接加工铜、金等材料的能力。  相似文献

基于二极管激光器mini-bar的光纤耦合方式是一种降低耦合系统成本并提高整体转换效率的方法, 为此,采用40片封装在铜微通道冷却器上的连续60 W二极管激光器mini-bar组成空间叠加阵列,作为耦合光源,采用非球面柱透镜及柱透镜阵列对mini-bar叠阵进行了快轴与慢轴的准直,实现了两列叠阵的激光束沿快轴方向的空间合成以提高叠阵激光束的填充因子,合成后的激光束可以耦合进入芯径为800 m、数值孔径为0.22的光纤。测试结果表明,光纤耦合模块输出功率最高为1360 W,整体光光效率58%,光纤端面的功率密度达到1.73105 W/cm2。  相似文献

为了实现半导体激光器快轴准直柱透镜加工公差的快速、准确制定,在快轴光束准直理论分析的基础上,采用几何光学的方法建立了多参数加工公差理论模型。该模型以各个结构参数的极限偏差值作为公差初始值,以实际的加工精度作为边界条件,并根据具体的准直设计要求进行优化,实现各个参数公差的合理、快速分配。针对常见的TO-MOUNT型号中的一款快轴发散角为36°的半导体激光器设计了快轴准直柱透镜,利用该理论模型实现快轴准直柱透镜加工公差的快速制定,引入该公差后的ZEMAX仿真结果符合准直设计要求,且仿真的出射光束发散角与理论计算结果仅有1.1%的误差。  相似文献

The characteristics of a mechanically induced long-period fiber grating (MLPFG) made by pressing a pair of grooved plates over single-mode fiber tapers are analyzed. Fiber tapers with a waist length of 80 mm and diameter ranging from 90 to 125 μm, fabricated using the heating and puling method, were used. We observed that the resonance wavelengths shift toward shorter wavelengths as the fiber taper waist diameter is reduced. A maximum shift of 254 nm in the position of the resonance peaks was observed when the fiber diameter was reduced to 90 μm. This technique is particularly suitable for tuning the resonance wavelengths to shorter wavelengths below the limit imposed by the grooved plate period.  相似文献

针对实验中9.5μm峰值响应波长的n型长波量子阱红外探测器设计运用二维金属小球(铜)阵列作光耦合结构.金属小球阵列均匀填充在绝缘的胶黏剂中,基于惠更斯原理研究二维金属小球阵列体系的光耦合和光吸收,结果表明对9.5μm响应波长的长波量子阱红外探测器,采用周期为3μm,半径为0.9μm左右的金属小球阵列可以获得最佳的光耦合.优化设计后的量子效率(66%)远高于45°磨角耦合的量子效率(38%),为实验运用金属小球阵列进行长波量子阱红外探测器的光耦合提供了基本的理论依据和详细的优化设计方案.  相似文献

The influence of thermal effect on the third-order nonlinear optical properties of binuclear Zn(II) phthalocyanine in chloroform solution was studied. The nonlinear refraction and absorption of the sample was measured by using Z-scan technique with 4 ns laser pulses at 532 nm wavelength. The opposite signs of the effective nonlinear refraction index were observed by changing the focal length of focusing lens from 10 cm to 20 cm in the experimental setup. Changing the focusing lens increased the beam waist radius from 7 μm to 20 μm. The nonlinear absorption coefficient was reduced about 200 times based on changing the fluence or beam waist radius. The drastic changes in the third-order nonlinear optical parameters were attributed to thermal effect. To investigate the role of thermal effects even further the effective nonlinear refraction and absorption coefficients were studied by using different repetition rates, input powers and concentrations.  相似文献

A new production method of long-period fiber-gratings using neither a laser nor a fine-positioning system was proposed. A low-pressure mercury lamp emitting 254 nm ultraviolet light was used as a light source. Hydrogen-loaded Ge-B co-doped fiber was exposed to the emission of the lamp through an amplitude mask. A coupling loss up to 23 dB was obtained for a grating period of 212 μm. The maximum coupling loss for a grating period of 460 μm was 18 dB. The growth rate of the refractive index change by mercury-lamp exposure was 1.3 × 10−4/h. The temperature and strain characteristics were measured and compared with those fabricated by excimer-laser exposure. The temperature and strain sensitivities of long-period gratings with a period of 212 μm were higher than those of 460 μm. The temperature and strain sensitivities of those by mercury-lamp exposure were almost equal to those by excimer-laser exposure of the same fiber. The sensitivities of those by excimer-laser exposure of non-loaded fiber were higher than those of hydrogen-loaded fiber by mercury-lamp or excimer-laser exposures except for the temperature sensitivity of a grating period of 460 μm.  相似文献

针对熔融拉锥系统制得的熔锥型微纳光纤耦合器,选择适当的连续函数描述其光场分布,采用归一化的三角分布和矩形分布的加权叠加,以及高斯分布和三角分布的加权叠加实现了模场沿耦合器区域的连续变化;利用局部模式耦合理论推导出腰区及腰区附近锥形区的耦合系数计算公式,并得到微纳光纤耦合器输出光功率随拉伸长度的变化曲线.计算结果表明,随着拉伸长度的增加,光能量在两臂中来回交替耦合的程度变小并且呈现包络样,直至腰区耦合功能消失.通过实时监测拉制微纳光纤耦合器的输出光功率,得到火焰扫描宽度以及氢气流量对双纤失去耦合效应拉伸长度的影响:火焰扫描宽度(均匀腰区)越宽,拉伸长度临界值越大;氢气流量(熔融度)越大,拉伸长度临界值越小.实验结果显示,当光纤耦合器腰区直径达到1.6μm时,耦合功能消失,两输出端口光功率相同且恒定,微纳光纤耦合器具备稳定的光学传输特性.  相似文献

In this paper, we systematically study a designed structure of a bending dual-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF). We propose the controllable wavelength-selective coupling PCF. This coupler allows highly accurate control of the filtering wavelength. The different wavelengths can be selected by controlling the bending radius of the fiber. Coupling characteristics of novel bending wavelength-selective coupling PCF are evaluated by using a vector finite element method and their application to a multiplexer demultiplexer (MUX–DEMUX) based on the novel coupler is investigated. When the fiber length is 4168 μm, the bending radius of PCF couplers for 1.48/1.55 μm, 1.3/1.55 μm, 0.98/1.55 μm, and 0.85/1.55 μm is calculated, respectively, and the beam propagation analysis is performed. Different from the traditional wavelength-selective coupling PCF, the dual-core PCF is bent and it can realize the separation of multiple wavelengths.  相似文献

In this paper, the design and analysis of an ultracompact coupler based on a hybrid silicon plasmonic waveguide (HSPW) is proposed and its coupling and crosstalk characteristics have been theoretically investigated for the development of optical interconnects that can be realized using well-established complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor-compatible fabrication techniques. To determine the minimum horizontal separation distance and efficient coupling length for the designed coupler, the symmetric and antisymmetric supermodes are obtained and their characteristics are studied at a wavelength of 1.55 μm. Efficient light coupling is exhibited by the HSPW coupler with 75 % of power transfer between the two HSPWs with ultrashort coupling length of 2.14 μm when the separation distance is 50 nm. Further, it is shown that the crosstalk is significantly reduced with the insertion of metallic strip between the two HSPWs for realizing highly dense integrated plasmonic circuits.  相似文献

带有透镜结构的发光管有利于提高器件的外量子效率和耦合效率。InP衬底对1.3μm波长范围的光发射是透明的,因而可制造带透镜结构器件。本文研究了4%CH3COOH体系腐蚀液和H3PO4:HCI体积比为1:3腐蚀液的腐蚀特性,比较了二者的活化能和腐蚀液的温度,状态和衬底晶向等对腐蚀速率的影响。并用二步腐蚀法在外延片的InP衬底上制成了带有透镜的InAsP/InP发光管。其曲率半径为160—170μm。该器件在彩色录像传输系统中的应用效果良好。  相似文献

考虑激光棒的热透镜效应对有源平平腔、平凹腔进行了数值计算,分析了谐振腔内激光光斑及腔体的稳定性.实验中以Er3+:Yb3+共掺磷酸盐玻璃为工作介质,成功地实现了平凹腔在常温下连续输出TEM00模的1.54μm激光,最大输出功率为21.5mW,光光转换效率达到了0.7%.  相似文献
