Hankel operators, the Segal-Bargmann space, and symmetrically-normed ideals

Starting with the Segal-Bargmann space, we investigate the Hankel operators with symbol functions in a certain linear space. Given an appropriate symbol function, we consider the associated Hankel operator together with the Hankel operator associated with that symbol function's complex conjugate. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the simultaneous membership of these two operators in the symmetrically-normed ideal associated with any given symmetric norming function.     

Finite sums of Toeplitz products on the Dirichlet space

On the Dirichlet space of the unit disk, we consider a class of operators which contain finite sums of products of two Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols. We give characterizations of when an operator in that class is zero or compact. Also, we solve the zero product problem for products of finitely many Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols.     

Weighted Composition Operators from the Bloch Space to Weighted Banach Spaces on Bounded Homogeneous Domains

We study the bounded and the compact weighted composition operators from the Bloch space into the weighted Banach spaces of holomorphic functions on bounded homogeneous domains, with particular attention to the unit polydisk. For bounded homogeneous domains, we characterize the bounded weighted composition operators and determine the operator norm. In addition, we provide sufficient conditions for compactness. For the unit polydisk, we completely characterize the compact weighted composition operators, as well as provide ＂computable＂ estimates on the operator norm.     

Multilinear integral operators and mean oscillation

In this paper, the boundedness properties for some multilinear operators related to certain integral operators from Lebesgue spaces to Orlicz spaces are obtained. The operators include Calderón—Zygmund singular integral operator, fractional integral operator, Littlewood—Paley operator and Marcinkiewicz operator.     

Compact differences of composition operators

A characterization of compact difference is given for composition operators acting on the standard weighted Bergman spaces and necessary conditions are given on a larger scale of weighted Dirichlet spaces. Conditions are given under which a composition operator can be written as a finite sum of composition operators modulo the compacts. The additive structure of the space of composition operators modulo the compact operators is investigated further and a sufficient condition is given to insure that two composition operators lie in the same component.
