本文以Ｂａｎａｃｈ压缩映象原理在完备半度量空间中是否仍然成立为中心问题，应用变分方法给出了完备半度量空间中压缩映象存在不动点的充分条件，本文还证明了在一类重要而广泛的完备度量空间－完备仿度量空间压缩映象原理是成立的。

本文发现，用在一定条件下序列的相对列紧性可以统一而且十分简捷地处理Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的局部接近一致光滑性，弱Ｈａｈｎ－Ｂａｎａｃｈ光滑性及滴性等概念。并由此推出了它们之间的一些新关系，得出一些新性质，也得到了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间自反的一些新等价条件，在讨论了接近一致光滑和接近一致凸之间的关系的基础上，我们还得到了Ｂｏｃｈｎｅｒ空间的相应一些性质。     

一类弱稳定的Banach空间

为了解决什么样的Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间，它的每个无穷维子空间几乎等距地含有Ｃ０或ｌｐ（１≤ｐ＜∞）问题，Ｊ．Ｌ．Ｋｒｉｖｉｎｅ１９７９年在［４］中引进了稳定的Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的概念．Ｓ．Ａｒｇｙｏｒｓ．在［２］中引进了弱稳定的概念，列举了一个弱稳定而非稳定的Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间，本文引进具有Ｐ－凸完备极小系的Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间，证明了该空间是弱稳定以及可赋等价的稳定范数的充要条件是其自反．最后给出了不自反的具有Ｐ—凸完备极小系的Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的例子从而推广了［２］中结果．     

Banach空间中Cauchy问题解存在定理的注记

本文讨论Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间中的Ｃａｕｃｈｙ问题解的存在性定理。证明了Ｃａｕｃｈｙ方程右端函数ｆ（·）为ｋ－集压缩映象时，Ｃａｕｃｈｙ问题的解必存在，从而，将通常要求ｆ（·）满足Ｌｉｐ条件或绝对连续这两种条件统一起来，并加以推广。

往Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间中．研究了多值Φ－伪压缩型映象的具误差的Ｉｓｈｉｋａｗａ和Ｍａｎｎ迭代过程的收敛 性问题，所得结果改进、发展和统一了许多人的最新结果．     

A generalized Banach contraction principle that characterizes metric completeness

We prove a fixed point theorem that is a very simple generalization of the Banach contraction principle and characterizes the metric completeness of the underlying space. We also discuss the Meir-Keeler fixed point theorem.

     

A RESULT OF SUZUKI TYPE IN PARTIAL G-METRIC SPACES

Recently, Suzuki [T. Suzuki characterizes metric completeness, Proc. A generalized Banach contractlon principle that Amer. Math. Soc. 136 （2008）, 1861-1869] proved a fixed point theorem that is a generalization of the Banach contraction principle and char- acterizes the metric completeness. Paesano and Vetro [D. Paesano and P. Vetro, Suzuki＇s type characterizations of completeness for partial metric spaces and fixed points for partially ordered metric spaces, Topology Appl., 159 （2012）, 911-920] proved an analogous fixed point result for a self-mapping on a partial metric space that characterizes the partial metric O- completeness. In this article, we introduce the notion of partial G-metric spaces and prove a result of Suzuki type in the setting of partial G-metric spaces. We deduce also a result of common fixed point.

Soc. 136 (2008) 1861-1869] proved a fixed point theorem that is a generalization of the Banach contraction principle and characterizes the metric completeness. In this paper we prove an analogous fixed point result for a self-mapping on a partial metric space or on a partially ordered metric space. Our results on partially ordered metric spaces generalize and extend some recent results of Ran and Reurings [A.C.M. Ran, M.C. Reurings, A fixed point theorem in partially ordered sets and some applications to matrix equations, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 132 (2004) 1435-1443], Nieto and Rodríguez-López [J.J. Nieto, R. Rodríguez-López, Contractive mapping theorems in partially ordered sets and applications to ordinary differential equations, Order 22 (2005) 223-239]. We deduce, also, common fixed point results for two self-mappings. Moreover, using our results, we obtain a characterization of partial metric 0-completeness in terms of fixed point theory. This result extends Suzuki?s characterization of metric completeness.

Fold completeness of a system of root vectors of a system of unbounded polynomial operator pencils in Banach spaces. I. Abstract theory

N. Dunford and J.T. Schwartz (1963) striking Hilbert space theory about completeness of a system of root vectors (generalized eigenvectors) of an unbounded operator has been generalized by J. Burgoyne (1995) to the Banach spaces framework. We use the Burgoyne's theorem and prove n-fold completeness of a system of root vectors of a system of unbounded polynomial operator pencils in Banach spaces. The theory will allow to consider, in application, boundary value problems for ODEs and elliptic PDEs which polynomially depend on the spectral parameter in both the equation and the boundary conditions.     

On quantification of weak sequential completeness

We consider several quantities related to weak sequential completeness of a Banach space and prove some of their properties in general and in L-embedded Banach spaces, improving in particular an inequality of G. Godefroy, N. Kalton and D. Li. We show some examples witnessing natural limits of our positive results, in particular, we construct a separable Banach space X with the Schur property that cannot be renormed to have a certain quantitative form of weak sequential completeness, thus providing a partial answer to a question of G. Godefroy.     

Fixed point theory for generalized contractions in cone metric spaces

In this paper, we prove some fixed point theorems for generalized contractions in cone metric spaces. Our theorems extend some results of Suzuki (2008) [T. Suzuki, A generalized Banach contraction principle that characterizes metric completeness, Proc Amer Math Soc 136(5) (2008), 1861-1869] and Kikkawa and Suzuki (2008) [M. Kikkawa and T. Suzuki, Three fixed point theorems for generalized contractions with constants in complete metric spaces, Nonlinear Anal 69(9) (2008), 2942-2949].     

On contraction and the modal fragment
