在不少运用中值定理的证明题中辅助函数的构造总是需要学生的敏锐观察力和一定运气的,因而比较困难.本文创立了一种构造辅助函数的万能方法,并给予了方法可靠性的自明(非严格的证明).该方法在辅助函数的构造与微分方程的解之间建起了一座桥梁,使得可以通过微分方程的解去计算出辅助函数.文章最后说明了该方法还可以给一类微分方程提供一种近似解.

本文给出了非线性Riemann—Liouville分数阶微分方程和Caputo分数阶微分方程与相应的非线性Volterra积分方程的等价性,并在此基础上建立了分数阶微分方程的比较定理．     

Discrete and Lexicographic Helly-Type Theorems

Helly’s theorem says that if every d+1 elements of a given finite set of convex objects in ℝ ^d have a common point, then there is a point common to all of the objects in the set. We define three new types of Helly theorems: discrete Helly theorems—where the common point should belong to an a-priori given set, lexicographic Helly theorems—where the common point should not be lexicographically greater than a given point, and lexicographic-discrete Helly theorems. We study the relations between the different types of the Helly theorems. We obtain several new discrete and lexicographic Helly numbers. An extended abstract containing parts of this work appeared in the proceedings of the Forty-Fifth Annual Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science (FOCS) 2004. This work is part of the author’s Ph.D. thesis, prepared in the school of mathematical sciences at Tel Aviv University, under the supervision of Professor Arie Tamir.

关于超过程的几个比较定理

本文讨论了超Dawson-Watanabe过程的Laplace变换之间的相互比较,得到了依赖于其底过程和分枝特征的若干比较定理.应用比较定理可以将超布朗运动在特殊分枝下的某些性质推广到一般的超过程.同时将这些结果应用于非线性发展方程,得到了一类非线性发展方程的解之间的比较.     

Comparison theorems for oscillation of second-order half-linear differential equations

Summary We establish new comparison theorems on the oscillation of solutions of a class of perturbed half-linear differential equations. These improve the work of Elbert and Schneider [6] in which connections are found between half-linear differential equations and linear differential equations. Our comparison theorems are not of Sturm type or Hille--Wintner type which are very famous. We can apply the main results in combination with Sturm's or Hille--Wintner's comparison theorem to a half-linear differential equation of the general form (|x'|^α-1x')' + a(t) |x|^α-1x = 0.

Theorems of comparison and stability with probability 1 for one-dimensional stochastic differential equations

We prove the comparison theorems for scalar stochastic differential equations in the case of different diffusion coefficients. Conditions are given of stability with probability 1 with respect to the trivial solution to stochastic differential equations with random coefficients. The results remain valid for deterministic analogs of stochastic differential equations with symmetric integrals.

In this paper, we establish a local representation theorem for generators of reflected backward stochastic differential equations (RBSDEs), whose generators are continuous with linear growth. It generalizes some known representation theorems for generators of backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs). As some applications, a general converse comparison theorem for RBSDEs is obtained and some properties of RBSDEs are discussed.     

Approximation Theorems and Fixed Point Theorems for Various Classes of 1-set-contractive Mappings in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we will prove that Ky Fan's Theorem (Math. Z. 112(1969), 234–240) is true for 1-set-contractive maps defined on a bounded closed convex subset K in a Banach space with intK≠0. This class of 1-set-contractive maps includes condensing maps, nonexpansive maps, semicontractive maps, LANE maps and others. As applications of our theorems, some fixed point theorems of non-selfmaps are proved under various well-known boundary conditions. Our results are generalizations and improvements of the recent results obtained by many authors.
