ON GENERALIZED BUFFON NEEDLE PROBLEM FOR LATTICES

Two new concepts, the generalized support function and restricted chord function, both referring to a convex set, were introduced in [1]. General formulae to yield the kinematic measure of a segment of fixed length in a convex set were established based on these concepts. In this article , using the partial intersection method, we consider the generalized Buffon problem for three kinds of lattices. We determine the probability of intersection of a body test needle of length l, l < a.

关于带W权Drazin逆的表示定理及迭代方法

To study singular linear system, Cline and Greville[8] proposed the concept of W-weighted Drazin inverse for the rectangular matrices,where the properties were also discussed. The computation for the W-weighted Drazin inverse is of much interest, which is mainly divided into two kinds of methods: direct method[2,4,6] and iterative method[3,5,7,9,12,13]. In this paper, we study the iterative method and successive matrix squaring(SMS) method for the W-weighted Drazin inverse and generalize the main results in [12,13].     

NONTRIVIAL SOLUTIONS OF SEMILINEAR ELLIPTIC EQUATIONS ON UNBOUNDED DOMAIN

This paper is concerned with the existence of nontrivial solutions of the somilinear olliptio equations on unbounded domain Ω in R~n, N≥2. These results extend Rose of [11], [13] and [16]. The main tool is variational methods in this paper.     

Shannon-type sampling for multivariate non-bandlimited signals

In this paper, starting from a function analytic in a neighborhood of the unit disk and based on Bessel functions, we construct a family of generalized multivariate sinc functions, which are radial and named radial Bessel-sinc (RBS) functions being time-frequency atoms with nonlinear phase. We obtain a recursive formula for the RBS functions in R d with d being odd. Based on the RBS function, a corresponding sampling theorem for a class of non-bandlimited signals is established. We investigate a class of radial functions and prove that each of these functions can be extended to become a monogenic function between two parallel planes, where the monogencity is taken to be of the Clifford analysis sense.

A DIFFERENTIABLE CANTOR-LIKE FUNCTION

the Cantor function is one of the most important and useful exaraples in real function theory. Recently there are a lot of research on differentiable Cantor-like functions, but the methods involved are not elementary. In this note a differentiable Cantor-like function was given by an elementary method.     

球面空间单形的两个几何不等式（英文）

In this paper, by using the theory and method of distance geometry, we study the geometric inequality of a n-dimensional simplex in the spherical space and establish two geometric inequalities involving the edge-length and volume of one simplex and the volume,height and(n-1)-dimensional volume of the side of another simplex in the n-dimensional spherical space. They are the extensions of the results [10] in the n-dimensional Euclidean geometry to the n-dimensional spherical space.

A numerical solution of nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equations

In this paper, a numerical procedure for solving a class ofnonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equations is presented. Themethod is based upon the globally defined sinc basis functions.Properties of the sinc procedure are utilized to reduce thecomputation of the nonlinear integral equations to some algebraicequations. Illustrative examples are included to demonstrate thevalidity and applicability of the method.

The relation between the circum-radius and the in-radius of an n-dimensional simplex in E~n is studied.Two new generalizations of Euler inequality for the n-dimensional simplex are established.Besides,we obtain some stronger generalizations of Euler inequality for the n-dimensional simplex than previously known results.
