本文首先介绍一种用来处理重尾数据的斜t分布,并给出其相应的基本数字特征.基于Laplace分布的对称性及重尾性,定义一种新的分布一斜Laplace分布,推导出新分布的密度函数和分布函数,且通过密度函数曲线图书其与Laplace分布进行比较.最后,证实所提斜Laplace分布的重尾性质.  相似文献

收入分布函数的估计方法主要有参数估计法与非参数估计的方法.利用参数估计方法,依据黑龙江省及国家城镇居民人均可支配收入数据,分别采用极大似然法与分段计算分布总体中的参数,确定收入分布函数,然后根据分布函数与实际数据的拟合状况,验证黑龙江省及国家人均可支配收入服从对数正态分布,但是参数的确定方式决定了拟合的有效性.  相似文献

互为对偶的离散型分布与连续型分布,可以看作是由同一个函数——源函数产生的。源函数的正线性组合、乘积和负导数,仍然是源函数。源函数揭示了互为对偶的分布的分布函数之间的相互关系,并能用来求随机变量的数字特征、特征函数、概率母函数、分布的最大值和参数的极大似然估计.  相似文献

在模拟逐日降水方面,将马尔科夫链和某种分布函数相结合建立随机模型的方法在国外很多地区被证明是有效的,但该方法在我国的适用性研究并不多见.本文应用哈尔滨48年的实测降水资料,基于一阶马尔科夫两状态转移概率,分别采用皮尔逊Ⅲ型分布、伽玛分布和偏正态分布函数模拟了哈尔滨的1000年逐日降水过程.对比分析结果表明,伽玛分布更适合模拟哈尔滨的逐日降水过程,基于伽玛分布函数模拟的月份降水量和降水天数与实测降水数据符合较好.  相似文献

本文首先将矩阵F分布和矩阵t分布的定义推广到左球分布类,其密度函数与产生它们的左球分布或球对称分布的密度均无关.然后讨论了椭球等高分布关于非奇异矩阵变换的不变性问题,包括矩阵Beta分布、逆矩阵Beta分布、矩阵Dirichlet分布、逆矩阵Dirichlet分布、矩阵F分布和矩阵t等分布.在非奇异变换下,这些分布的密度不但与产生它们的左球分布的密度函数无关,而且与非奇异变换矩阵无关.  相似文献

The paper presents a characterization of a general family of distributions by the form of the expectation of an appropriately truncated function of the random variable involved. The obtained result unifies results existing in the literature for specific distributions as well as new results that appear for the first time in this paper. Summary The binomial and multinomial distributions are, probably, the best known distributions because of their vast number of applications. The present paper examines some generalizations of these distributions with many practical applications. Properties of these generalizations are studied and models giving rise to them are developed. Recurrence relations for integrals that involve the density of multivariate normal distributions are developed. These recursions allow fast computation of the moments of folded and truncated multivariate normal distributions. Besides being numerically efficient, the proposed recursions also allow us to obtain explicit expressions of low-order moments of folded and truncated multivariate normal distributions. Let OS denote the class of distributions with O-subexponential tails, which means the distributions with the tails having the same order as the tails of their 2-fold convolutions. In this paper, we first construct a family of distributions without finite means in LOS?S. Next some distributions in LOS?S, which possess finite means or even finite higher moments, are also constructed. This paper studies Coxian representations of generalized Erlang distributions. A nonlinear program is derived for computing the parameters of minimal Coxian representations of generalized Erlang distributions. The nonlinear program is also used to characterize the triangular order and the admissible region of generalized Erlang distributions. It is shown that the admissible region associated with a triangular order may not be convex. For generalized Erlang distributions of ME-order 3, a minimal Coxian representation is found explicitly. In addition, an algorithm is developed for computing a special type of ordered Coxian representations - the bivariate Coxian representation - for generalized Erlang distributions.  相似文献

Summary  This paper deals with the computation of exact cumulative probabilities of discrete distributions and its inverses. For the computation of cumulative probabilities an efficient and universal algorithm of 15 lines is presented, which can be applied to the most important discrete distributions (e.g. the binomial, the poisson and the hypergeometric distribution). With a slight modification an algorithm of 20 lines is obtained for the calculation of the respective inverse distributions. The accuracy of both algorithms can be specified. Both algorithms are simple, very fast and numerically stable even if the sample size is one billion.  相似文献

A simple new family of distributions is proposed which has support the unit disc in two dimensions. The density functions of the family are unimodal, monotonic or uniantimodal. The bivariate symmetric beta distributions, which include the uniform distribution, are special cases, but many members of the family are skew. The distributions have three parameters, one controlling orientation, one controlling degree of concentration and the third controlling skewness, or more precisely off-centredness. Importantly, these parameters are globally orthogonal. An illustrative example of fitting the model to data is given. Conditional and marginal distributions are considered. The new distributions are compared favourably with an earlier suggestion of the same author.  相似文献
