We investigate the long-time dynamical behavior of coupled suspension bridge equations with double nonlocal terms by using the quasi-stable methods. We first establish the well-posedness of the solutions by means of the monotone operator theory. Secondly, the dissipation of solution semigroup is obtained, and then, the asymptotic smoothness of solution semigroup is verified by the energy reconstruction method; ultimately, we prove the existence of global attractor. Finally, we show the existence of the generalized exponential attractor.  相似文献

This work is an attempt to treat partial differential equations with discrete (concentrated) state-dependent delay. The main idea is to approximate the discrete delay term by a sequence of distributed delay terms (all with state-dependent delays). We study local existence and long-time asymptotic behavior of solutions and prove that the model with distributed delay has a global attractor while the one with discrete delay possesses the trajectory attractor.  相似文献

In this work, the existence and properties of a global attractor for the solution semiflow of the Oregonator system are proved. The Oregonator system is the mathematical model of the celebrated Belousov–Zhabotinskii reaction. A rescaling and grouping estimation method is developed to show the absorbing property and the asymptotic compactness of the solution trajectories of this three‐component reaction–diffusion system with quadratic nonlinearity. It is also proved that the fractal dimension of the global attractor is finite and an exponential attractor exists for the Oregonator semiflow. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In view of the possibility that the 3D Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) might not always have regular solutions, we introduce an abstract framework for studying the asymptotic behavior of multi-valued dissipative evolutionary systems with respect to two topologies—weak and strong. Each such system possesses a global attractor in the weak topology, but not necessarily in the strong. In case the latter exists and is weakly closed, it coincides with the weak global attractor. We give a sufficient condition for the existence of the strong global attractor, which is verified for the 3D NSE when all solutions on the weak global attractor are strongly continuous. We also introduce and study a two-parameter family of models for the Navier-Stokes equations, with similar properties and open problems. These models always possess weak global attractors, but on some of them every solution blows up (in a norm stronger than the standard energy one) in finite time.  相似文献
