In this paper, the stability properties, the endpoint behavior and the invertible relations of Cauchy-type singular integral operators over an open curve are discussed. If the endpoints of the curve are not special, this type of operators are proved to be stable. At the endpoints, either the singularity or smoothness of the operators are exactly described. And the function sets or spaces on which the operators are invertible as well as the corresponding inverted operators are given. Meanwhile, some applications for the solution of Cauchy-type singular integral equations are illustrated.  相似文献

Global depth, tangent depth and simplicial depths for classical and orthogonal regression are compared in examples, and properties that are useful for calculations are derived. The robustness of the maximum simplicial depth estimates is shown in examples. Algorithms for the calculation of depths for orthogonal regression are proposed, and tests for multiple regression are transferred to orthogonal regression. These tests are distribution free in the case of bivariate observations. For a particular test problem, the powers of tests that are based on simplicial depth and tangent depth are compared by simulations.  相似文献

Manufacturing flow line systems: a review of models and analytical results   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
The most important models and results of the manufacturing flow line literature are described. These include the major classes of models (asynchronous, synchronous, and continuous); the major features (blocking, processing times, failures and repairs); the major properties (conservation of flow, flow rate-idle time, reversibility, and others); and the relationships among different models. Exact and approximate methods for obtaining quantitative measures of performance are also reviewed. The exact methods are appropriate for small systems. The approximate methods, which are the only means available for large systems, are generally based on decomposition, and make use of the exact methods for small systems. Extensions are briefly discussed. Directions for future research are suggested.  相似文献

The properties of matrix-valued polynomials generated by the scalar-type Rodrigues’ formulas are analyzed. A general representation of these polynomials is found in terms of products of simple differential operators. The recurrence relations, leading coefficients, completeness are established, as well as, in the commutative case, the second order equations for which these polynomials are eigenfunctions and the corresponding eigenvalues, and ladder operators.A new, direct proof is given to the conjecture of Durán and Grünbaum that if the weights are self-adjoint and positive semidefinite then they are necessarily of scalar type.Commutative classes of orthogonal polynomials (corresponding to weights that are self-adjoint but not positive semidefinite) are found, which satisfy all the properties usually associated to orthogonal polynomials, and are not of scalar type.  相似文献

Dirichlet integrals and the associated Dirichlet statistical densities are widely used in various areas. Generalizations of Dirichlet integrals and Dirichlet models to matrix-variate cases, when the matrices are real symmetric positive definite or hermitian positive definite, are available [4]. Real scalar variables case of the Dirichlet models are generalized in various directions. One such generalization of the type-2 or inverted Dirichlet is looked into in this article. Matrix-variate analogue, when the matrices are hermitian positive definite, are worked out along with some properties which are mathematically and statistically interesting.  相似文献

In this article, a capacitated location allocation problem is considered in which the demands and the locations of the customers are uncertain. The demands are assumed fuzzy, the locations follow a normal probability distribution, and the distances between the locations and the customers are taken Euclidean and squared Euclidean. The fuzzy expected cost programming, the fuzzy β-cost minimization model, and the credibility maximization model are three types of fuzzy programming that are developed to model the problem. Moreover, two closed-form Euclidean and squared Euclidean expressions are used to evaluate the expected distance between customers and facilities. In order to solve the problem at hand, a hybrid intelligent algorithm is applied in which the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulation, and a modified genetic algorithm are integrated. Finally, in order to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed hybrid algorithm, some numerical examples are presented.  相似文献

Abstract

This article is intended to study global asymptotical stability in probability for random impulsive coupled systems on networks with Markovian switching. Two cases are considered. (1) Continuous dynamics are stable while impulses are unstable; (2) impulses are stable while continuous dynamics are unstable. To begin with, based on Lyapunov method as well as graph-theoretic technique, several new stability criteria in two cases are derived, that are, the Lyapunov-type criteria and the coefficients-type criteria. Then main results are used for a class of random impulsive coupled oscillators. Finally, the effectiveness of the obtained results is verified by numerical simulations.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to perturbation analysis of denumerable Markov chains. Bounds are provided for the deviation between the stationary distribution of the perturbed and nominal chain, where the bounds are given by the weighted supremum norm. In addition, bounds for the perturbed stationary probabilities are established. Furthermore, bounds on the norm of the asymptotic decomposition of the perturbed stationary distribution are provided, where the bounds are expressed in terms of the norm of the ergodicity coefficient, or the norm of a special residual matrix. Refinements of our bounds for Doeblin Markov chains are considered as well. Our results are illustrated with a number of examples.  相似文献

This paper studies a class of multiobjective generalized fractional programming problems, where the numerators of objective functions are the sum of differentiable function and convex function, while the denominators are the difference of differentiable function and convex function. Under the assumption of Calmness Constraint Qualification the Kuhn-Tucker type necessary conditions for efficient solution are given, and the Kuhn-Tucker type sufficient conditions for efficient solution are presented under the assumptions of (F, α, ρ, d)-V-convexity. Subsequently, the optimality conditions for two kinds of duality models are formulated and duality theorems are proved.  相似文献

In this paper, using electromagnetic theory, the equations for the total magnetic force on the rails are deduced. Besides this, the equations for the changes of the magnetic force along with time and the running position of the armature under jointed pulse operating current are presented. Then, the equations for changes of the bending stress and shear stress in the rail along with time and the running position of the armature are given. Changes of the magnetic force distribution between the two rails along with the running position of the armature and other parameters are investigated. The total electromagnetic forces on the rail under jointed pulse operating current are analyzed. Distribution and changes of the bending stresses in the rail are studied. A number of results are obtained. The results are useful for design and application of the railgun system.  相似文献

In this paper, the notions of fuzzy weak regular, strong and preassociative filters are introduced with some properties of them investigated. In particular, under the context of Glivenko algebras, fuzzy weak regular filters and regular ones are equivalent and characterizations of Glivenko algebras are concluded by characterizations of fuzzy strong filters. At last the notion of fuzzy preassociative filters are defined, which are proved to coincide with fuzzy Boolean filters, and then some new alternative definitions of Boolean algebras are obtained by this type of filters.  相似文献

In this note, we discuss a class of so-called generalized sampling functions. These functions are defined to be the inverse Fourier transform of a family of piecewise constant functions that are either square integrable or Lebegue integrable on the real number line. They are in fact the generalization of the classic sinc function. Two approaches of constructing the generalized sampling functions are reviewed. Their properties such as cardinality, orthogonality, and decaying properties are discussed. The interactions of those functions and Hilbert transformer are also discussed.  相似文献

The direct boundary element method is applied to the numerical modelling of thermal fluid flow in a transient state. The Navier-Stokes equations are considered under the Boussinesq approximation and the viscous thermal flow equations are expressed in terms of stream function, vorticity, and temperature in two dimensions. Boundary integral equations are derived using logarithmic potential and time-dependent heat potential as fundamental solutions. Boundary unknowns are discretized by linear boundary elements and flow domains are divided into a series of triangular cells. Charged points are translated upstream in the numerical evaluation of convective terms. Unknown stream function, vorticity, and temperature are staggered in the computational scheme.

Simple iteration is found to converge to the quasi steady-state flow. Boundary solutions for two-dimensional examples at a Reynolds number 100 and Grashoff number 107 are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, the fourth-order parabolic equations with different boundary value conditions are studied. Six kinds of boundary value conditions are proposed. Several numerical differential formulae for the fourth-order derivative are established by the quartic interpolation polynomials and their truncation errors are given with the aid of the Taylor expansion with the integral remainders. Effective difference schemes are presented for the third Dirichlet boundary value problem, the first Neumann boundary value problem and the third Neumann boundary value problem, respectively. Some new embedding inequalities on the discrete function spaces are presented and proved. With the method of energy analysis, the unique solvability, unconditional stability and unconditional convergence of the difference schemes are proved. The convergence orders of derived difference schemes are all O(τ2 + h2) in appropriate norms. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to confirm the theoretical results.  相似文献
