A class of A-modules is socle-fine if for any A-modules M and N in this class, M and N are isomorphic if and only if socle of M and socle of N are isomorphic. A ring A is a left V-ring if and only if the class of indecomposable quasi-injective A-modules with large socle is socle-fine. A ring A is a left V-ring noetherian if and only if the class of quasi-injective /4-modules with large socle is socle-fine. A ring A is Pseudo-Frobenius if and only if A is a left, cogenerator and the class of projective A-modules is socle-fine.

J-semicommutative环的性质

环冗称为J—semicommutative若对任意B,b∈R由ab=0可以推得aRb∈J（R）,这里J（R）是环R的Jacobson根．环R是J—semicommutative环当且仅当它的平凡扩张是J—semicommutative环当且仅当它的Don＇oh扩张是J—semicommutative环当且仅当它的Nagata扩张是,一semicommutative环当且仅当它的幂级数环是J—semicommutative环．若R／J（R）是semicommutative环,则可得到R是J-semicommutative环．本文进一步论证了如果,是环月的一个幂零理想,且R／I是J—semicommutative环,则R也是J-semicommutative环最后给出了J—semicommutative环与其他一些常见环的联系     

拟圆的三个充要条件

设D是R2中的Jordan域,D*=R2＼D是D的外部,本文证明了拟圆的下面三个充要条件:(1)D是拟圆当且仅当D和D*都是弱拟凸域;(2)D是拟圆当且仅当D和D*都是弱Cigar域;(3)D是拟圆当且仅当D是弱一致域.     

关于单BCI－代数的一些结果

本文讨论了单ＢＣＩ－代数．证明了一个ＢＣＩ－代数是单的当且仅当它的子代数都是单的；给出了单ｐ－半单ＢＣＩ－代数的一种表示式；证明了一个ｐ－半单ＢＣＩ－代数是单的当且仅当它的阶是素数；这样得到了一批（无限多个）单ＢＣＩ－代数；证明了商ＢＣＫ－代数Ｘ／Ａ是单的当且仅当Ａ是Ｘ的极大理想．     

华沙圈上连续映射的distality与等度连续性

设W为华沙圈,f:W→W为连续映射.本文得到了f为distal的一个刻画并且讨论了f的distality与等度连续性的关系.证明了:(i)f是distal的当且仅当f为恒等映射.(ii)如果f为满射,则f是distal的当且仅当f为等度连续的.     

When is the Boston mechanism strategy-proof?

Kumano (2013) is the first to investigate the Boston school choice mechanism (BOSM) under restricted priority domains. This paper strengthens and extends his result and shows that the BOSM is strategy-proof, if and only if it is fair, if and only if it is equivalent to the student-optimal stable mechanism (SOSM), and if and only if the number of total seats at any two schools exceeds the number of students.     

Rings whose cyclic modules are lifting and ⊕-supplemented

It is proved that a semiperfect module is lifting if and only if it has a projective cover preserving direct summands. Three corollaries are obtained: (1) every cyclic module over a ring R is lifting if and only if every cyclic R-module has a projective cover preserving direct summands; (2) a ring R is artinian serial with Jacobson radical square-zero if and only if every (2-generated) R-module has a projective cover preserving direct summands; (3) a ring R is a right (semi-)perfect ring if and only if (cyclic) lifting R-module has a projective cover preserving direct summands, if and only if every (cyclic) R-module having a projective cover preserving direct summands is lifting. It is also proved that every cyclic module over a ring R is ⊕-supplemented if and only if every cyclic R-module is a direct sum of local modules. Consequently, a ring R is artinian serial if and only if every left and right R-module is a direct sum of local modules.     

S-内射模及S-内射包络

设R是环.设S是一个左R-模簇,E是左R-模.若对任何N∈S,有Ext_R~1(N,E)=0,则E称为S-内射模.本文证明了若S是Baer模簇,则关于S-内射模的Baer准则成立;若S是完备模簇,则每个模有S-内射包络;若对任何单模N,Ext_R~1(N,E)=0,则E称为极大性内射模;若R是交换环,且对任何挠模N,Ext_R~1(N,E)=0,则E称为正则性内射模.作为应用,证明了每个模有极大性内射包络.也证明了交换环R是SM环当且仅当T/R的正则性内射包e(T/R)是∑-正则性内射模,其中T=T(R)表示R的完全分式环,当且仅当每一GV-无挠的正则性内射模是∑-正则性内射模.     

On commutative rings which are strongly prüfer

Abstract

As defined by Nicholson [Nicholson, W. K. (1977). Lifting idempotents and exchange rings. Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 229:269–278] an element of a ring R is clean if it is the sum of a unit and an idempotent, and a subset A of R is clean if every element of A is clean. It is shown that a semiprimitive Gelfand ring R is clean if and only if Max(R) is zero-dimensional; if and only if for each M ∈ Max(R), the intersection all prime ideals contained in M is generated by a set of idempotents. We also give several equivalent conditions for clean functional rings. In fact, a functional ring R is clean if and only if the set of clean elements is closed under sum; if and only if every zero-divisor is clean; if and only if; R has a clean prime ideal.

The fibration p of pointed objects of a category E is shown to have some classifying properties: it is additive if and only if E is naturally Mal'cev, it is unital if and only if E is Mal'cev. Trivial Ring Extensions Defined by Arithmetical-Like Properties

In this article we investigate the transfer of the notions of elementary divisor ring, Hermite ring, Bezout ring, and arithmetical ring to trivial ring extensions of commutative rings by modules. Namely, we prove that the trivial ring extension R: = A ? B defined by extension of integral domains is an elementary divisor ring if and only if A is an elementary divisor ring and B = qf(A); and R is an Hermite ring if and only if R is a Bezout ring if and only if A is a Bezout domain and qf(A) = B. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for R = A ? E to be an arithmetical ring when E is a nontorsion or a finitely generated A ? module. As an immediate consequences, we show that A ? A is an arithmetical ring if and only if A is a von Neumann regular ring, and A ? Q(A) is an arithmetical ring if and only if A is a semihereditary ring.

Demi-groupes prelibres

A semigroup is called prefree if it admits a free homomorphic image. A semigroup is prefree if and only if it admits a nonempty free part and if and only if it admits a free retract. If D is the product of a finite or countable family of free semigroups, the maximal free parts and the minimal free congruences of D are given.
