This paper investigates the existence of solutions of periodic boundary value problems for nonlinearsecond order functional differential equations.By establishing comparison results,criteria on the existence ofmaximal and minimal solutions are obtained.     

Pseudo almost periodic solutions to parabolic boundary value inverse problems

We first define the pseudo almost periodic functions in a more general setting.Then we show the existence,uniqueness and stability of pseudo almost periodic solutions of parabolic inverse problems for a type of boundary value problems.

This paper deals with the existence of positive solutions to the singular secondorder periodic boundary value problem. We obtain the existence results of positive solutions by the fixed point index theory. The results obtained extend and complement some known results.

The author studies semilinear parabolic equations with initial and periodic boundary value conditions. In the presence of non-well-ordered sub- and super-solutions: "subsolution (?) supersolution",the existence and stability/instability of equilibrium solutions are obtained.     

EXISTENCE AND MULTIPLICITY OF POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO THIRD-ORDER PERIODIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

The existence and multiplicity of positive solutions to a periodic boundary value problem for nonlinear third-order ordinary differential equation are established, based on the zero point theorem concerning cone expansion and compression of order type. Our main approach is different from the previous papers on the existence of multiple positive solutions to the similar problem.     

Periodic boundary value problem for the first order functional differential equations with impulses

This paper is concerned with the existence and approximation of solutions for a class of first order impulsive functional differential equations with periodic boundary value conditions. A new comparison result is presented and the previous results are extended.     

PERIODIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH “SUPREMUM”

In this paper, the monotone iterative method of Lakshmikantham and a comparison result are applied to study a periodic boundary value problem for a nonlinear impulsive differential equation with "supremum" and the existence of maximal and minimal solutions are obtained.     

EXISTENCE OF SOLUTIONS FOR SECONDORDER IMPULSIVE DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

In this paper, we apply the coincidence degree theory to study nonlinear second orderimPulsive periodic boundary value problems (PBVP), and show some sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions.     

PERIODIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR NONLINEAR INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION OF MIXED TYPE ON TIME SCALES

We prove several new comparison results and develop the monotone iterative technique to show the existence of extremal solutions to a kind of periodic boundary value problem (PBVP) for nonlinear integro-differential equation of mixed type on time scales.     

Existence of solutions for sub-linear or super-linear operator equations

We investigate solutions to superlinear or sublinear operator equations and obtain some abstract existence results by minimax methods. These results apply to superlinear or sublinear Hamiltonian systems satisfying several boundary value conditions including Sturm-Liouville boundary value conditions and generalized periodic boundary value conditions, and yield some new theorems concerning existence of solutions or nontrivial solutions. In particular, some famous results about periodic solutions to superlinear or sublinear Hamiltonian systems by Rabinowitz or Benci and Rabinowitz are special cases of the theorems.

本文首先证明源于DNA的非线性波动方程组的周期边值问题局部古典解的存在性和唯一性.其次通过周期边值问题序列证明这个方程组的Cauchy问题存在唯一的局部古典解.     

一类时滞反应扩散方程的周期解和概周期解

通过构造上、下控制函数，结合上、下解方法及相应的单调迭代方法研究了一类时滞反应扩散方程，证明了在反应项非单调时，如果一雏边值问题存在一对周期（或概周期）上、下解，则方程一定存在唯一的周期（或概周期）解．并给出了二维边值问题周期（或概周期）解存在唯一性的充分条件．推广了已有的一些结果。     

Existence and Comparison Results for Difference φ-Laplacian Boundary Value Problems with Lower and Upper Solutions in Reverse Order

This paper is devoted to the study of the existence and comparison results for nonlinear difference φ-Laplacian problems with mixed, Dirichlet, Neumann, and periodic boundary value conditions. We deduce existence of extremal solutions of periodic and Neumann boundary value problems lying between a pair of lower and upper solutions given in reverse order. We prove the optimality of some assumptions in φ.

In this paper, the properties of solution of periodic boundary value problem for second-order impulsive integro-differential equation are discussed. Using the iterative analysis method, the existence and uniqueness of periodic solution and the sufficient condition for uniform stability of trivial solution are obtained, which extend the previous results on integro-differential equation in periodic boundary value problem.

On existence and multiplicity of positive solutions to periodic boundary value problems for singular nonlinear second order differential equations

The existence and multiplicity of positive solutions are established to periodic boundary value problems for singular nonlinear second order ordinary differential equations. The arguments are based only upon the positivity of the Green's functions and the Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem. As an example, a periodic boundary value problem is also considered which comes from the theory of nonlinear elasticity.
