The reproducing kernel function of a weighted Bergman space over domains in Cd is known explicitly in only a small number of instances. Here, we introduce a process of orthogonal norm expansion along a subvariety of (complex) codimension 1, which also leads to a series expansion of the reproducing kernel in terms of reproducing kernels defined on the subvariety. The problem of finding the reproducing kernel is thus reduced to the same kind of problem when one of the two entries is on the subvariety. A complete expansion of the reproducing kernel may be achieved in this manner. We carry this out in dimension d=2 for certain classes of weighted Bergman spaces over the bidisk (with the diagonal z1=z2 as subvariety) and the ball (with z2=0 as subvariety), as well as for a weighted Bargmann-Fock space over C2 (with the diagonal z1=z2 as subvariety).  相似文献

The regularity of functions from reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHSs) is studied in the setting of learning theory. We provide a reproducing property for partial derivatives up to order s when the Mercer kernel is C2s. For such a kernel on a general domain we show that the RKHS can be embedded into the function space Cs. These observations yield a representer theorem for regularized learning algorithms involving data for function values and gradients. Examples of Hermite learning and semi-supervised learning penalized by gradients on data are considered.  相似文献

Motivated by multi-task machine learning with Banach spaces, we propose the notion of vector-valued reproducing kernel Banach spaces (RKBSs). Basic properties of the spaces and the associated reproducing kernels are investigated. We also present feature map constructions and several concrete examples of vector-valued RKBSs. The theory is then applied to multi-task machine learning. Especially, the representer theorem and characterization equations for the minimizer of regularized learning schemes in vector-valued RKBSs are established.  相似文献

A direct application of the reproducing kernel method presented in the previous works cannot yield accurate approximate solutions for singularly perturbed delay differential equations. In this letter, we construct a new numerical method called piecewise reproducing kernel method for singularly perturbed delay initial value problems. Numerical results show that the present method does not share the drawback of standard reproducing kernel method and is an effective method for the considered singularly perturbed delay initial value problems.  相似文献

It is known that for particular classes of operators on certain reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces, key properties of the operators (such as boundedness or compactness) may be determined by the behaviour of the operators on the reproducing kernels. We prove such results for Toeplitz operators on the Paley-Wiener space, a reproducing kernel Hilbert space over . Namely, we show that the norm of such an operator is equivalent to the supremum of the norms of the images of the normalised reproducing kernels of the space. In particular, therefore, the operator is bounded exactly when this supremum is finite. In addition, a counterexample is provided which shows that the operator norm is not equivalent to the supremum of the norms of the images of the real normalised reproducing kernels. We also give a necessary and sufficient condition for compactness of the operators, in terms of their limiting behaviour on the reproducing kernels.  相似文献

In this article, we proposed a new numerical method to obtain the approximation solution for the time-fractional Schrödinger equation based on reproducing kernel theory and collocation method. In order to overcome the weak singularity of typical solutions, we apply the integral operator to both sides of differential equation and yield a integral equation. We divided the solution of this kind equation into two parts: imaginary part and real part, and then derived the approximate solutions of the two parts in the form of series with easily computable terms in the reproducing kernel space. New bases of reproducing kernel spaces are constructed and the existence of approximate solution is proved. Numerical examples are given to show the accuracy and effectiveness of our approach.  相似文献

Motivated by the need of processing non-point-evaluation functional data, we introduce the notion of functional reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (FRKHSs). This space admits a unique functional reproducing kernel which reproduces a family of continuous linear functionals on the space. The theory of FRKHSs and the associated functional reproducing kernels are established. A special class of FRKHSs, which we call the perfect FRKHSs, are studied, which reproduce the family of the standard point-evaluation functionals and at the same time another different family of continuous linear (non-point-evaluation) functionals. The perfect FRKHSs are characterized in terms of features, especially for those with respect to integral functionals. In particular, several specific examples of the perfect FRKHSs are presented. We apply the theory of FRKHSs to sampling and regularized learning, where non-point-evaluation functional data are used. Specifically, a general complete reconstruction formula from linear functional values is established in the framework of FRKHSs. The average sampling and the reconstruction of vector-valued functions are considered in specific FRKHSs. We also investigate in the FRKHS setting the regularized learning schemes, which learn a target element from non-point-evaluation functional data. The desired representer theorems of the learning problems are established to demonstrate the key roles played by the FRKHSs and the functional reproducing kernels in machine learning from non-point-evaluation functional data. We finally illustrate that the continuity of linear functionals, used to obtain the non-point-evaluation functional data, on an FRKHS is necessary for the stability of the numerical reconstruction algorithm using the data.  相似文献

Let H2(γ) be the Hilbert space over the bidisk D2 generated by a positive sequence γ={γnm}n,m ≥ 0. In this paper, we prove that the Beurling type theorem holds for the shift operator on H2(γ) with γ={γnm}n,m ≥ 0 satisfying certain series of inequalities. We describe how to use Schoenberg’s theorem for a radial kernel combined with existing bounds on the approximation error functions for Gaussian kernels to obtain a bound on the approximation error function for the radial kernel. The result is applied to the exponential kernel and Student’s kernel. To establish these results we develop a general theory regarding mixtures of kernels. We analyze the reproducing kernel Hilbert space (RKHS) of the mixture in terms of the RKHS’s of the mixture components and prove a type of Jensen inequality between the approximation error function for the mixture and the approximation error functions of the mixture components.  相似文献
