二阶P—Laplacian问题三个正解的存在性

本文要讨论了二阶P—Laplaci!an方程边值问题{△（φ（Au（t-1）））＋a（t），（t，u（t））=0，t∈N[1，T＋1]；△u（O）=0，u（T＋2）=0三个正解的存在性。通过利用一个三解不动点定理，证明了当，（t，x）在满足较弱条件时该方程至少三个正解的存在性。

测度链上p-Laplacian 边值问题的三个正对称解

该文研究了p-Laplacian 动力边值问题 (g(u^△(t)))^▽+a(t)f(t, u(t))=0, t ∈ [0, T] _T, u(0)=u(T)=w, u^△(0)=-u^△(T) 正解的存在性. 其中w是非负实数, g(ν)=|ν| ^p-2ν, p>1 . 根据对称技巧和五泛函不动点定理, 证明了边值问题至少有三个正的对称解, 同时, 给出了一个例子验证了我们的结果.     

二阶差分系统正解的存在性

本文考虑了二阶差分系统-△~2u(t-1)=λf(v(t)),t∈[1,T]_z,-△~2v(t-1)=λg(u(t)),t∈[1,T]_z,u(0)=u(T+1)=0,v(0)=v(T+1)=0正解的存在性,其中f,g∈C([0,∞),R),λ0是参数.在f和g满足适当的假设条件下运用Schauder不动点定理证明了当λ充分大时差分系统正解的存在性.     

Existence Results for a Class of Semilinear Elliptic Systems

In this paper, we study the existence of nontrivial solutions for the problem

where Ω is bounded domain in R^N and h1,h2 ∈ L^2 （Ω）. The existence result is obtained by using the Leray-Schauder degree under the following condition on the nonlinearities f and g：

where λ＋,λ-∈（0）∪σ（-△）,σ（-△）denote the spectrum of -△. The cases （i） where λ＋ = λ_ and （ii） where λ＋≠λ_ such that the closed interval with endpoints λ＋,λ_ contains at most one simple eigenvatue of -△ are considered.     

The existence of nontrivial solutions to a semilinear elliptic system on without the ambrosetti-rabinowitz condition

In this paper, we prove the existence of at least one positive solution pair （u, v）∈ H1（RN） × H1（RN） to the following semilinear elliptic system {-△u＋u=f（x,v）,x∈RN,-△u＋u=g（x,v）,x∈RN （0.1）,by using a linking theorem and the concentration-compactness principle. The main conditions we imposed on the nonnegative functions f, g ∈C0（RN× R1） are that, f（x, t） and g（x, t） are superlinear at t = 0 as well as at t =＋∞, that f and g are subcritical in t and satisfy a kind of monotonic conditions. We mention that we do not assume that f or g satisfies the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition as usual. Our main result can be viewed as an extension to a recent result of Miyagaki and Souto [J. Diff. Equ. 245（2008）, 3628-3638] concerning the existence of a positive solution to the semilinear elliptic boundary value problem {-△u＋u=f（x,u）,x∈Ω,u∈H0^1（Ω） where Ω ∩→RN is bounded and a result of Li and Yang [G. Li and J. Yang： Communications in P.D.E. Vol. 29（2004） Nos.5＆ 6.pp.925-954, 2004] concerning （0.1） when f and g are asymptotically linear.     

一类大初值抛物方程组解的生命周期

该文考虑如下初边值问题解的生命周期{u_t-△u=e~(av),(x,t)∈Ωx(0,T),u_t-△u=e~(bu),(x,t)∈Ωx(0,T),u(x,t)=v(x,t)=0(x,t)∈Ωx(0,T),u(x,t)=ρφ(x),v(x,t)=ρφ(x),(x,t)∈Ωx{t=0}其中a0,b0是常数,Ω是R~N中带光滑边界Ω的有界区域,ρ0是参数,φ(x)和φ(x)都是Ω上的非负连续函数.首先,基于一个新的常微分方程组的分析,该文构造了以上初边值问题的一个上解,并由此得到了解的生命周期的渐近下界.然后,利用比较原理和K印lan的方法~([3]),可以证明这个下界也是渐近上界,因此该文就得到了上述初边值问题解的生命周期的渐近表达式.     

二阶多点边值问题多个正解存在性

利用Leggett-Williams不动点定理,并赋予f,g一定的增长条件,证明了二阶多点微分方程组边值问题u″+f(t,u,v)=0,v″+g(t,u,v)=0,0 t 1,u(0)=v(0)=0,u(1)-∑n-2i=1kiu(ξi)=0,v(1)-∑m-2i=1liv(ηi)=0,至少存在三对正解,其中f,g:[0,1]×[0,∞)×[0,∞)→[0,∞)是连续的.     

u~(4)(t)-λh(t)f(u(t))=0的边值问题的正解存在性

本文考察了边值问题u（4）-λh（t）f（u（t））＝0,0＜t＜1,u（0）=u（1）="（0）=u"（1）=0的正解存在性和多解性,其中λ＞0本文推广了［3］的结论．     

RECENT PROGRESS ON SPHERICAL HARMONIC APPROXIMATION MADE BY BNU RESEARCH GROUP ——In memory of Professor Sun Yongsheng

As early as in 1990, Professor Sun Yongsheng, suggested his students at Beijing Normal University to consider research problems on the unit sphere. Under his guidance and encouragement his students started the research on spherical harmonic analysis and approximation. In this paper, we incompletely introduce the main achievements in this area obtained by our group and relative researchers during recent 5 years （2001-2005）. The main topics are： convergence of Cesaro summability, a.e. and strong summability of Fourier-Laplace series; smoothness and K-functionals; Kolmogorov and linear widths.     

Boundedness for commutators of multipliers on Hardy type spaces

In this paper, we study the commutators generalized by multipliers and a BMO function. Under some assumptions, we establish its boundedness properties from certain atomic Hardy space Hb^p（R^n） into the Lebesgue space L^p with p 〈 1.     

A unified approach to certain problems of best local approximation

In this paper we study best local quasi-rational approximation and best local approximation from finite dimensional subspaces of vectorial functions of several variables. Our approach extends and unifies several problems concerning best local multi-point approximation in different norms.

Bounds for the zeros of polynomials

Let P(z)=∑↓j=0↑n ajx^j be a polynomial of degree n. In this paper we prove a more general result which interalia improves upon the bounds of a class of polynomials. We also prove a result which includes some extensions and generalizations of Enestrǒm-Kakeya theorem.     

Boundedness of commutators related to Marcinkiewicz integrals on hardy type spaces

In this paper, the authors study the boundedness of the operator [μΩ, b], the commutator generated by a function b ∈ Lipβ(Rn)(0 ＜β≤ 1) and the Marcinkiewicz integrals μΩ, on the classical Hardy spaces and the Herz-type Hardy spaces in the case Ω∈ Lipα(Sn-1)(0 ＜α≤ 1).     

Generalization of the interaction between Haar approximation and polynomial operators to higher order methods

In applications it is useful to compute the local average empirical statistics on u. A very simple relation exists when of a function f（u） of an input u from the local averages are given by a Haar approximation. The question is to know if it holds for higher order approximation methods. To do so, it is necessary to use approximate product operators defined over linear approximation spaces. These products are characterized by a Strang and Fix like condition. An explicit construction of these product operators is exhibited for piecewise polynomial functions, using Hermite interpolation. The averaging relation which holds for the Haar approximation is then recovered when the product is defined by a two point Hermite interpolation.     

Jacobi polynomials used to invert the laplace transform

Given the Laplace transform F(s) of a function f(t), we develop a new algorithm to find an approximation to f(t) by the use of the classical Jacobi polynomials. The main contribution of our work is the development of a new and very effective method to determine the coefficients in the finite series expansion that approximation f(t) in terms of Jacobi polynomials. Some numerical examples are illustrated.
