Let θ ∈ (0, 1), λ ∈ [0, 1) and p, p 0, p 1 ∈ (1,∞] be such that (1 ? θ)/p 0 + θ/p 1 = 1/p, and let φ, φ0, φ1 be some admissible functions such that φ, φ0 p/p0 and φ1 p/p1 are equivalent. We first prove that, via the ± interpolation method, the interpolation L φ0 p0),λ (X), L φ1 p1), λ (X), θ> of two generalized grand Morrey spaces on a quasi-metric measure space X is the generalized grand Morrey space L φ p),λ (X). This article discusses the local regularity of refinable function vectors associated with a dilation matrix M. Suppose that D is a complete set of representatives of Zs/MZs. Under the assumptions that the self-affine tile T (M,D), associated with dilation matrix M and digit set D, has measure 1 and that the corresponding refinable function vector φ ∈ L, we prove that there is a set H ? Rs of full measure such that the restriction φ|H of φ on H has a positive Hölder exponent α(x) at every x ∈ H. Similar result holds for the derivatives of refinable function vectors provided that the dilation matrix is diagonalizable.  相似文献

Given a function φ and s ∈ (0, 1), we will study the solutions of the following obstacle problem:

  • lim|x| → + ∞ u(x) = 0.
We show that when φ is C1, s or smoother, the solution u is in the space C1, α for every α < s. In the case where the contact set {u = φ} is convex, we prove the optimal regularity result uC1, s. Analytic functions are introduced, which are analogous to the Fredholm determinant, but may have only finite radius of convergence. These functions are associated with operators of the form ε μ(dω) ?ω, where ?ω φ(x) = ?ω(x). φ(ψω x), , φ belongs to a space of Hölder or C r functions, ?ω is Hölder or C r , and ψω is a contraction or a C r contraction. The results obtained extend earlier results by Haydn, Pollicott, Tangerman and the author on zeta functions of expanding maps.  相似文献

Let φ be an anisotropic quadratic form over a field F of characteristic not 2. The splitting pattern of φ is defined to be the increasing sequence of nonnegative integers obtained by considering the Witt indices iWk) of φ over K where K ranges over all field extensions of F. Restating earlier results by HURRELBRINK and REHMANN , we show how the index of the Clifford algebra of φ influences the splitting pattern. In the case where F is formally real, we investigate how the signatures of φ influence the splitting behaviour. This enables us to construct certain splitting patterns which have been known to exist, but now over much “simpler” fields like formally real global fields or ?(t). We also give a full classification of splitting patterns of forms of dimension less than or equal to 9 in terms of properties of the determinant and Clifford invariant. Partial results for splitting patterns in dimensions 10 and 11 are also provided. Finally, we consider two anisotropic forms φ and φ of the same dimension m with φ ? ? φ ∈ In F and give some bounds on m depending on n which assure that they have the same splitting pattern.  相似文献

For any function φ from ?r to ?r, Tao and Gowda [Math. Oper. Res., 30 (2005), pp. 985–1004] introduced a corresponding nonlinear transformation Rφ over a Euclidean Jordan algebra (which is called a relaxation transformation) and established some useful relations between φ and Rφ. In this paper, we further investigate some interconnections between properties of φ and properties of Rφ, including the properties of continuity, (local) Lipschitz continuity, directional differentiability, (continuous) differentiability, semismoothness, monotonicity, the P0-property, and the uniform P-property. As an application, we investigate the symmetric cone complementarity problem with a relaxation transformation. A property of the solution set of this class of problems is given. We also investigate a smoothing algorithm for solving this class of problems and show that the algorithm is globally convergent under an assumption that the solution set of the problem concerned is nonempty.  相似文献

Let φ be an automorphism of a free group Fn of rank n, and let Mφ = Fn ?φ ? be the corresponding mapping torus of φ. We study the group Out(Mφ) under certain technical conditions on φ. Moreover, in the case of rank 2, we classify the cases when this group is finite or virtually cyclic, depending on the conjugacy class of the image of φ in GL2(?). As an application, we solve the isomorphism problem for the family of F2-by-? groups, in terms of the two defining automorphisms.  相似文献

We consider the following abstract mathematical programming problem: in a setD, find an element that optimizes a real function φ0, subject to inequality constraints φ1?0, ..., φ p ?0 and equality constraints φ p+1=0, ..., φ p+q =0. Necessary conditions for this problem, like the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker theorem, can be seen as a consequence of separating with a hyperplane two convex sets inR p+q+1, the image space of the map Φ=(φ0, φ1, ..., φ p+q ).
