The purpose of this article is to characterize symplectic and Hamiltonian circle actions on symplectic manifolds in terms of symplectic embeddings of Riemann surfaces.More precisely, it is shown that(1) if(M, ω) admits a Hamiltonian S~1-action, then there exists a two-sphere S in M with positive symplectic area satisfying c1(M, ω), [S] 0,and(2) if the action is non-Hamiltonian, then there exists an S~1-invariant symplectic2-torus T in(M, ω) such that c1(M, ω), [T] = 0. As applications, the authors give a very simple proof of the following well-known theorem which was proved by Atiyah-Bott,Lupton-Oprea, and Ono: Suppose that(M, ω) is a smooth closed symplectic manifold satisfying c1(M, ω) = λ· [ω] for some λ∈ R and G is a compact connected Lie group acting effectively on M preserving ω. Then(1) if λ 0, then G must be trivial,(2) if λ = 0, then the G-action is non-Hamiltonian, and(3) if λ 0, then the G-action is Hamiltonian.  相似文献

In this paper it is shown that the intersection of all w-relations of a hemiring R is exactly the intersection of all primitive relations of this hemiring, and is called J-relational radical of the himiring R. Several properties of the J-relational radical are described. The radical R of a hemiring R is defined by the set {x\in R|x\tau 0}, where \tau is the J-relational radical of R. We obtain independently following results: 1.R is a right quasi-regular ideal which contains every right quasi-regular right ideal. 2.R=\cap {(0:M)|M,, irreducible cancellative right R-semimodule. The term "Jacobson semisimple” in ring theory is generalized to hemirings by defining “J-relational semisimple.” It is proved that if \tau is the Jacobson relational radical of a hemiring R, then R/\tau is J-relational semisimple. Finally the structure theorem of the hemirings is given. A hemiring is J-relational simisimple if and only if it is isomorphic to a subdirect sum of completely primitive hemirings.  相似文献

In this paper, some equivalent versions of B(D,λ)-refinability are given. One of these equivalent versions, is that a space X is B(D, ωo)-refinable if and only if X is strongly quasi-paracompact. As an application of the above result, the author shows that weak θ-refinability is strictly weaker than strong quasi-paracompactness in T4-spaces, which answers a question posed by Jiang. In addition, the author proves that a weak version of B(D,λ) always implies weak θ-refinability for any λ<ω1, and also give a T4, B(D,ωo)-refinable (=strongly quasi-paracompact) space which is not θ-refinable.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the structures of monomial Hopf algebras over a field of positive characteristic. A necessary and sufficient condition for the monomial coalgebra Cd(n) to admit Hopf structures is given here, and if it is the case, all graded Hopf structures on Cd(n) are completely classified. Moreover, we construct a Hopf algebras filtration on Cd(n) which will help us to discuss a conjecture posed by Andruskiewitsch and Schneider. Finally combined with a theorem by Montgomery, we give the structure theorem for all monomial Hopf algebras.  相似文献

We extend a theorem of Ivanev and Saff to show that for the Hermite-Pade interpolant at the roots of unity to a function meromorphic in the unit disc, its leading coefficients vanish if and only if the corresponding interpolani to a related function vanishes at given points outside the unit disc. The result is then extended to simultaneous Hermite-Pade interpolation to a finite set of functions.  相似文献

Let(M,ω)be a symplectic manifold.In this paper,the authors consider the notions of musical(bemolle and diesis)isomorphisms ω~b:T M→T~*M and ω~?:T~*M→TM between tangent and cotangent bundles.The authors prove that the complete lifts of symplectic vector field to tangent and cotangent bundles is ω~b-related.As consequence of analyze of connections between the complete lift ~cω_(T M )of symplectic 2-form ω to tangent bundle and the natural symplectic 2-form dp on cotangent bundle,the authors proved that dp is a pullback o f~cω_(TM)by ω~?.Also,the authors investigate the complete lift ~cφ_T~*_M )of almost complex structure φ to cotangent bundle and prove that it is a transform by ω~?of complete lift~cφ_(T M )to tangent bundle if the triple(M,ω,φ)is an almost holomorphic A-manifold.The transform of complete lifts of vector-valued 2-form is also studied.  相似文献

Let E be a Banach space with the cl-norm||·|| in E/{0}, and let S(E) = {e ∈ E: ||e|| = 1}. In this paper, a geometry characteristic for E is presented by using a geometrical construct of S(E). That is, the following theorem holds: the norm of E is of eI in E/{0} if and only if S(E) is a c1 submanifold of E, with codimS(E) = 1. The theorem is very clear, however, its proof is non-trivial, which shows an intrinsic connection between the continuous differentiability of the norm ||·|| in E/{0} and differential structure of S(E).  相似文献

The authors investigate the α-transience and α-recurrence for random walks and Levy processes by means of the associated moment generating function, give a dichotomy theorem for not one-sided processes and prove that the process X is quasi-symmetric if and only if X is not α-recurrent for all α< 0 which gives a probabilistic explanation of quasi-symmetry, a concept originated from C. Based on a new characterization of bounded and compact weighted composition operators on the Fock space obtained by Le T(Le T. Normal and isometric weighted composition operators on the Fock space. Bull. London. Math. Soc., 2014,46: 847–856), this paper shows that a bounded weighted composition operator on the Fock space is a Fredholm operator if and only if it is an invertible operator, and if and only if it is a nonzero constant multiple of a unitary operator. The result is very different from the corresponding results on the Hardy space and the Bergman space.  相似文献

Let X be a Hopf manifold with non-Abelian fundamental group and E be a holomorphic vector bundle over X, with trivial pull-back to Cn ? {0}. The authors show that there exists a line bundle L over X such that E ? L has a nowhere vanishing section. It is proved that in case dim(X) ≥ 3, π?(E) is trivial if and only if E is filtrable by vector bundles. With the structure theorem, the authors get the cohomology dimension of holomorphic bundle E over X with trivial pull-back and the vanishing of Chern class of E.  相似文献

In this paper, the nonlinear programming problem with quasimonotonic ( both quasiconvex and quasiconcave )objective function and linear constraints is considered. With the decomposition theorem of polyhedral sets, the structure of optimal solution set for the programming problem is depicted. Based on a simplified version of the convex simplex method, the uniqueness condition of optimal solution and the computational procedures to determine all optimal solutions are given, if the uniqueness condition is not satisfied. The well-known Lyapunov's theorem in matrix theory/continuous dynamical systems asserts that a square matrix A is positive stable if and only if there exists a positive definite matrix X such that AX +XA* is positive definite. In this paper, we extend this theorem to the setting of any Euclidean Jordan algebra V . Given any element a ∈ V , we consider the corresponding Lyapunov transformation La and show that the P and S-properties are both equivalent to a being positive. Then we characterize the R0 -property for La and show that La has the R0 -property if and only if a is invertible. Finally, we provide La with some characterizations of the E0 -property and the nondegeneracy property.  相似文献

For a Lie triple system T over a field of characteristic zero, some sufficient conditions for T to be two-generated are proved. We also discuss to what extent the two-generated subsystems determine the structure of the system T . One of the main results is that T is solvable if and only if every two elements generates a solvable subsystem. Let(X, ω) be a compact Hermitian manifold of complex dimension n. In this article,we first survey recent progress towards Grauert–Riemenschneider type criteria. Secondly, we give a simplified proof of Boucksom's conjecture given by the author under the assumption that the Hermitian metric ω satisfies ?■ω~l= for all l, i.e., if T is a closed positive current on X such that ∫_XT_(ac)~n 0, then the class {T } is big and X is Kahler. Finally, as an easy observation, we point out that Nguyen's result can be generalized as follows: if ?■ω = 0, and T is a closed positive current with analytic singularities,such that ∫_XT_(ac)~n 0, then the class {T} is big and X is Kahler.  相似文献

The approximate point spectrum properties of p-ω-hyponormal operators are given and proved. In faet, it is a generalization of approximate point speetrum properties of ω- hyponormal operators. The relation of spectra and numerical range of p-ω-hyponormal operators is obtained, On the other hand, for p-ω-hyponormal operators T,it is showed that if Y is normal,then T is also normal.  相似文献
