应用无穷级数研究某些定积分

我们知道,数列的极限,定积分和无穷级数三者有着紧密的联系,由于定积分是某种和式的极限,而无穷级数的和是其部分和的极限,为此我们可以应用极限的方法研究定积分与无穷级数,反过来,也可以应用级数或者有时应用定积分去确定数列的极限.所以,有时定积分与无穷级数之间也有着一定的关系,即应用定积分的方法可以研究某些级数,也可以应用级数的方法求某些定积分的值.     

关于含双参量反常积分的分析性质

通过建立极限交换定理和极限与积分交换定理,得到了含双参量无穷限反常积分的连续性定理、求导与积分交换定理、积分顺序交换定理.最后给出了两个含双参量函数的连续性和以前结论的一个改进结果.

A criterion for the existence of four limit cycles in quadratic systems

A method for the asymptotic integration of the trajectories is proposed for the Liénard equation. The results obtained by this method are used to prove the existence of two “large” limit cycles in quadratic systems with a weak focus. The application of standard procedures of small perturbations of the parameters of quadratic systems enables one to find additionally two “small” limit cycles. It is shown that the criterion obtained for the existence of four limit cycles generalizes the well known Shi theorem.     

On the uniform convergence of solutions to a controlled system of integral equations with weakly convergent controls

A controlled system of Volterra-type integral equations is considered which is linear with respect to the control and has integrand measurable with respect to the integration variable. It is proved that if a sequence of controls weakly converges in the space L ₁, then, for its members with large numbers, the system has solutions uniformly converging to the solution corresponding to the limit control.

Lyapunov quantities and limit cycles of two-dimensional dynamical systems. Analytical methods and symbolic computation

In the present work the methods of computation of Lyapunov quantities and localization of limit cycles are demonstrated. These methods are applied to investigation of quadratic systems with small and large limit cycles. The expressions for the first five Lyapunov quantities for general Lienard system are obtained. By the transformation of quadratic system to Lienard system and the method of asymptotical integration, quadratic systems with large limit cycles are investigated. The domain of parameters of quadratic systems, for which four limit cycles can be obtained, is determined.     

A simple proof of a primal affine scaling method

In this paper, we present a simpler proof of the result of Tsuchiya and Muramatsu on the convergence of the primal affine scaling method. We show that the primal sequence generated by the method converges to the interior of the optimum face and the dual sequence to the analytic center of the optimal dual face, when the step size implemented in the procedure is bounded by 2/3. We also prove the optimality of the limit of the primal sequence for a slightly larger step size of 2q/(3q–1), whereq is the number of zero variables in the limit. We show this by proving the dual feasibility of a cluster point of the dual sequence.Partially supported by the grant CCR-9321550 from NSF.
