A self-similar set is a fixed point of iterated function system (IFS) whose maps are similarities. We say that a self-similar set satisfies the common point property if the intersection of images of the attractor under the maps of the IFS is a singleton and this point has a common pre-image, under the maps of the IFS, and the pre-image is in the attractor.Self-similar sets satisfying the common point property were introduced in Sirvent (2008) in the context of space-filling curves. In the present article we study some basic topological and dynamical properties of self-similar sets satisfying the common point property. We show examples of this family of sets.We consider attractors of a sub-IFS, an IFS formed from the original IFS by removing some maps. We put conditions on this attractors for having the common point property, when the original IFS have this property. 相似文献

In this paper we use fractal structures to study self-similar sets and self-similar symbolic spaces. We show that these spaces have a natural fractal structure, justifying the name of fractal structure, and we characterize self-similar symbolic spaces in terms of fractal structures. We prove that self-similar symbolic spaces can be characterized in a similar way, in the form, to the definition of classical self-similar sets by means of iterated function systems. We also study when a self-similar symbolic space is a self-similar set. Finally, we study relations between fractal structures with “pieces” homeomorphic to the space and different concepts of self-homeomorphic spaces. Along the paper, we propose several methods in order to construct self-similar sets and self-similar symbolic spaces from a geometrical approach. This allows to construct these kind of spaces in a very easy way. 相似文献

Summary The self-similarity of sets (measures) is often defined in a constructive way. In the present paper it will be shown that the random recursive construction model of Falconer, Graf and Mauldin/Williams for (statistically) self-similar sets may be generalized to the noncompact case. We define a sequence of random finite measures, which converges almost surely to a self-similar random limit measure. Under certain conditions on the generating Lipschitz maps we determine the carrying dimension of the limit measure. 相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the Lipschitz equivalence of self-similar sets with triangular pattern. This is a generalization of {1, 3, 5}-{1, 4, 5} problem proposed by David and Semmes. It is proved that if two such self-similar sets are totally disconnected, then they are Lipschitz equivalent if and only if they have the same Hausdorff dimension. 相似文献

We study in this paper some relations among self-similar arcs, Whitney sets and quasi-arcs: we prove that any self-similar
arc of dimension greater than 1 is a Whitney set; give a geometric sufficient condition for a self-similar arc to be a quasi-arc,
and provide an example of a self-similar arc such that any subarc of it fails to be at-quasi-arc for anyt ≥ 1, which answers an open question on Whitney sets. We also show that self-similar arcs with the same Hausdorff dimension
need not be Lipschitz equivalent.
