本文研究了求解加权线性互补问题的光滑牛顿法.利用一类光滑函数将加权线性互补问题等价转化成一个光滑方程组,然后提出一个新的光滑牛顿法去求解它.在适当条件下,证明了算法具有全局和局部二次收敛性质.与现有的光滑牛顿法不同,我们的算法采用一个非单调无导数线搜索技术去产生步长,从而具有更好的收敛性质和实际计算效果.  相似文献

In this paper,a smoothing QP-free infeasible method is proposed for nonlinear inequality constrained optimization problems.This iterative method is based on the solution of nonlinear equations which is obtained by the multipliers and the smoothing Fisher-Burmeister function for the KKT first-order optimality conditions.Comparing with other QP-free methods, this method does not request the strict feasibility of iteration.In particular,this method is implementable and globally convergent without assuming the strict complementarity condition and the isolatedness of accumulation points.Furthermore,the gradients of active constraints are not requested to be linearly independent.Preliminary numerical results indicate that this smoothing QP-free infeasible method is quite promising.  相似文献

The mixed complementarity problem can be reformulated as a nonsmooth equation by using the median operator. In this paper, we first study some useful properties of this reformulation and then derive the Chen-Harker-Kanzow-Smale smoothing function for the mixed complementarity problem. On the basis of this smoothing function, we present a smoothing Newton method for solving the mixed complementarity problem. Under suitable conditions, the method exhibits global and quadratic convergence properties. We also present a smoothing Broyden-like method based on the same smoothing function. Under appropriate conditions, the method converges globally and superlinearly.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a one-parametric class of smoothing functions, which enjoys some favourable properties and includes two famous smoothing functions as special cases. Based on this class of smoothing functions, we propose a regularization Newton method for solving the non-linear complementarity problem. The main feature of the proposed method is that it uses a perturbed Newton equation to obtain the direction. This not only allows our method to have global and local quadratic convergences without strict complementarity conditions, but also makes the regularization parameter converge to zero globally Q-linearly. In addition, we use a new non-monotone line search scheme to obtain the step size. Some numerical results are reported which confirm the good theoretical properties of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is dedicated to solving a nonsmooth second-order cone complementarity problem, in which the mapping is assumed to be locally Lipschitz continuous, but not necessarily to be continuously differentiable everywhere. With the help of the vector-valued Fischer-Burmeister function associated with second-order cones, the nonsmooth second-order cone complementarity problem can be equivalently transformed into a system of nonsmooth equations. To deal with this reformulated nonsmooth system, we present an approximation function by smoothing the inner mapping and the outer Fischer-Burmeister function simultaneously. Different from traditional smoothing methods, the smoothing parameter introduced is treated as an independent variable. We give some conditions under which the Jacobian of the smoothing approximation function is guaranteed to be nonsingular. Based on these results, we propose a smoothing Newton method for solving the nonsmooth second-order cone complementarity problem and show that the proposed method achieves globally superlinear or quadratic convergence under suitable assumptions. Finally, we apply the smoothing Newton method to a network Nash-Cournot game in oligopolistic electric power markets and report some numerical results to demonstrate its effectiveness.

Homotopy methods are globally convergent under weak conditions and robust; however, the efficiency of a homotopy method is closely related with the construction of the homotopy map and the path tracing algorithm. Different homotopies may behave very different in performance even though they are all theoretically convergent. In this paper, a spline smoothing homotopy method for nonconvex nonlinear programming is developed using cubic spline to smooth the max function of the constraints of nonlinear programming. Some properties of spline smoothing function are discussed and the global convergence of spline smoothing homotopy under the weak normal cone condition is proven. The spline smoothing technique uses a smooth constraint instead of m constraints and acts also as an active set technique. So the spline smoothing homotopy method is more efficient than previous homotopy methods like combined homotopy interior point method, aggregate constraint homotopy method and other probability one homotopy methods. Numerical tests with the comparisons to some other methods show that the new method is very efficient for nonlinear programming with large number of complicated constraints.  相似文献

In this paper, in order to solve semismooth equations with box constraints, we present a class of smoothing SQP algorithms using the regularized-smooth techniques. The main difference of our algorithm from some related literature is that the correspondent objective function arising from the equation system is not required to be continuously differentiable. Under the appropriate conditions, we prove the global convergence theorem, in other words, any accumulation point of the iteration point sequence generated by the proposed algorithm is a KKT point of the corresponding optimization problem with box constraints. Particularly, if an accumulation point of the iteration sequence is a vertex of box constraints and additionally, its corresponding KKT multipliers satisfy strictly complementary conditions, the gradient projection of the iteration sequence finitely terminates at this vertex. Furthermore, under local error bound conditions which are weaker than BD-regular conditions, we show that the proposed algorithm converges superlinearly. Finally, the promising numerical results demonstrate that the proposed smoothing SQP algorithm is an effective method.  相似文献

In this paper, we first give a smoothing approximation function of nonsmooth system based on box constrained variational inequalities and then present a new smoothing approximation algorithm.
