Traveling waves of a nonlocal diffusion SIRS epidemic model with a class of nonlinear incidence rates and time delay

In this paper, we study the traveling waves of a delayed SIRS epidemic model with nonlocal diffusion and a class of nonlinear incidence rates. When the basic reproduction ratio $\mathscr{R}_0>1$, by using the Schauder''s fixed point theorem associated with upper-lower solutions, we reduce the existence of traveling waves to the existence of a pair of upper-lower solutions. By constructing a pair of upper-lower solutions, we derive the existence of traveling wave solutions connecting the disease-free steady state and the endemic steady state. When $\mathscr{R}_0<1$, the nonexistence of traveling waves is obtained by the comparison principle.

This paper is concerned with the existence of travelling waves to an SIRS epidemic model with bilinear incidence rate, spatial diffusion and time delay. By analysing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of a disease-free steady state and an endemic steady state to this system under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions is discussed. By using the cross iteration method and the Schauder’s fixed point theorem, we reduce the existence of travelling waves to the existence of a pair of upper-lower solutions. By constructing a pair of upper-lower solutions, we derive the existence of a travelling wave solution connecting the disease-free steady state and the endemic steady state. Numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the main results.     

Traveling waves of a diffusive predator-prey model with nonlocal delay and stage structure

In this paper, a diffusive predator-prey model with nonlocal delay and stage structure is investigated. By using the cross iteration method and Schauder's fixed point theorem, we reduce the existence of traveling wave solutions to the existence of a pair of upper-lower solutions. Numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the theoretical results.

Modelling a single-species closed habitat fishery with spatial heterogeneity and time delay

A mathematical model describing a single species fishery is presented. The coupling effect of intra-species interaction delay of the harvested species and the spatial non-homogeneity of the aquatic environment is studied. The analysis is performed in a finite domain with the help of Neumann boundary value problem which resembles a closed-habitat fishery. Existence, uniqueness and regularity of solutions are demonstrated using the method of upper-lower solution pair. Stability criteria of the system is derived and interpreted from a bio-economic viewpoint.

TRAVELLING WAVEFRONTS IN DELAYED COOPERATIVE AND DIFFUSIVE SYSTEMS WITH NON-LOCAL EFFECTS

In this paper, traveling wavefront solutions are established for two cooperative systems with time delay and non-local effects. The results are an extension of the existing results for delayed logistic scale equations and diffusive Nicholson equations with non-local effects to systems. The approach used is the upper-lower solution technique and Schauder fixed point Theorem developed by Ma（J Differential Equations,2001,171：294-314. ）.

Existence and nonexistence of monotone traveling waves for the delayed Fisher equation

In this paper a new approach based on a shooting method in a half line coupled with the technique of upper-lower solution pair is used to study the existence and nonexistence of monotone waves for one form of the delayed Fisher equation that does not have the quasimonotonicity property. A necessary and sufficient condition is provided. This new method can be extended to investigate many other nonlocal and non-monotone delayed reaction-diffusion equations.     

Travelling Wave Solutions in Delayed Reaction Diffusion Systems with Partial Monotonicity

This paper deals with the existence of travelling wave fronts of delayed reaction diffusion systems with partial quasi-monotonicity. We propose a concept of ＂desirable pair of upper-lower solutions＂, through which a subset can be constructed. We then apply the Schauder＇s fixed point theorem to some appropriate operator in this subset to obtain the existence of the travelling wave fronts.     

Wavefronts of a Nonlocal State-dependent Time Delay Model

This paper is concerned with the travelling wavefronts of a nonlocal dispersal cooperation model with harvesting and state-dependent delay,which is assumed to be an increasing function of the population density with lower and upper bound.Especially,state-dependent delay is introduced into a nonlocal reaction-diffusion model.The conditions of Schauder's fixed point theorem are proved by constructing a reasonable set of functionsΓ(see Section 2)and a pair of upper-lower solutions,so the existence of traveling wavefronts is established.The present study is continuation of a previous work that highlights the Laplacian diffusion.

本文研究一类具有非局部扩散的时滞Lotka-Volterra竞争模型{(δ)/(δ)t u1(x,t)=d1 [(J1*u1)(x,t)-u1(x,t)]+r1u1(x,t)[1 - a1u1(x,t)- b1u1(x,t-Τ1)-c1u2(x,t-Τ2)],(δ)/(δ)tu2(x,t)=d2[(J2*u2)(x,t)-u2(x,t)]+r2u2(x,t)[1 - a2u2(x,t)- b2u2(x,t -Τ3)-c2u1(x,t-Τ4)]行波解的存在性问题.通过利用交叉迭代技巧,我们可以把行波解的存在性转化为寻找一对适当的上下解,这篇文章中的结果推广了已有的一些结果.

本文研究由四个反应扩散方程组成的强耦合方程组，利用算子半群理论，上、下解方法和能量积分等经典分析方法，论证此类方程组的整体解的存在唯一性和有界性。

Upper-lower solutions for nonlinear parabolic systems and their applications

The method of upper-lower solutions for nonlinear parabolic systems without the assumption of quasi-monotonicity is obtained. An application is provided, by using the method developed in this paper, involving the existence of positive solutions to certain time-dependent interaction systems arising in biological and medical sciences. Furthermore, the existence of the ω-limit of given system is studied.

本文讨论具有时滞和扩散的Marchuk模型.根据模型参数求出了模型方程的上、下解,利用单调方法和Liapunov函数分别证明了周期解和概周期解的存在性及其稳定性.     

Traveling wave fronts of delayed non-local diffusion systems without quasimonotonicity

This paper is concerned with the existence of traveling wave fronts for delayed non-local diffusion systems without quasimonotonicity, which can not be answered by the known results. By using exponential order, upper-lower solutions and Schauder's fixed point theorem, we reduce the existence of monotone traveling wave fronts to the existence of upper-lower solutions without the requirement of monotonicity. To illustrate our results, we establish the existence of traveling wave fronts for two examples which are the delayed non-local diffusion version of the Nicholson's blowflies equation and the Belousov-Zhabotinskii model. These results imply that the traveling wave fronts of the delayed non-local diffusion systems without quasimonotonicity are persistent if the delay is small.
