On Hochschild Cohomology of a Self-injective Special Biserial Algebra Obtained by a Circular Quiver with Double Arrows

We calculate the dimensions of the Hochschild cohomology groups of a self-injective special biserial algebra Λ _s obtained by a circular quiver with double arrows. Moreover, we give a presentation of the Hochschild cohomology ring modulo nilpotence of Λ _s by generators and relations. This result shows that the Hochschild cohomology ring modulo nilpotence of Λ _s is finitely generated as an algebra.     

On the Semisimplicity of the Outer Derivations of Monomial Algebras

We show that the Hochschild cohomology of a monomial algebra over a field of characteristic zero vanishes from degree two if the first Hochschild cohomology is semisimple as a Lie algebra. We also prove that first Hochschild cohomology of a radical square zero algebra is reductive as a Lie algebra. In the case of the multiple loops quiver, we obtain the Lie algebra of square matrices of size equal to the number of loops.     

On Maximal Diagonalizable Lie Subalgebras of the First Hochschild Cohomology

Let A be a basic connected finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field, with ordinary quiver without oriented cycles. Given a presentation of A by quiver and admissible relations, Assem and de la Peña have constructed an embedding of the space of additive characters of the fundamental group of the presentation into the first Hochschild cohomology group of A. We compare the embeddings given by the different presentations of A. In some situations, we characterise the images of these embeddings in terms of (maximal) diagonalizable subalgebras of the first Hochschild cohomology group (endowed with its Lie algebra structure).     

On Hochschild cohomology rings of Fibonacci algebras

Let Λ be a Fibonacci algebra over a field k. The multiplication of Hochschild cohomology ring of Λ induced by the Yoneda product is described explicitly. As a consequence, the multiplicative structure of Hochschild cohomology ring of Λ is proved to be trivial.     

Crossed Modules Over Operads and Operadic Cohomology

It is known that elements in the cohomology of groups and in the Hochschild cohomology of algebras are represented by crossed extensions. We introduce the notion of crossed modules and crossed extensions for algebras over operads and obtain in this way an operadic version of Hochschild cohomology. Applications are given for the operads Com, Ass and for E operads.

Hochschild cohomology of truncated quiver algebras

For a truncated quiver algebra over a field of an arbitrary characteristic, its Hochschild cohomology is calculated. Moreover, it is shown that its Hochschild cohomology algebra is finitedimensional if and only if its global dimension is finite if and only if its quiver has no oriented cycles.     

On the Hochschild Cohomology of Triangular Algebras

Abstract

In order to study the Hochschild cohomology of an n-triangular algebra 𝒯 _n , we construct a spectral sequence, whose terms are parametrized by the length of the trajectories of the quiver associated with 𝒯 _n , and which converges to the Hochschild cohomology of 𝒯 _n . We describe explicitly its components and its differentials which are sums of cup products. In case n = 3 we study some properties of the differential at level 2. We give some examples of use of the spectral sequence and recover formulas for the dimension of the cohomology groups of particular cases of triangular algebras.     

The Hochschild cohomology of the quasi-entwining structure

We give a concept of quasi-entwining structure,and investigate the Hochschild cohomology of the quasi-entwining structure.We obtain the equivalent theorems on the Hochschild cohomology of the quasientwining structure.In particular,we get the isomorphism theorem between the Hochschild cohomology of coalgebra structures and the Hochschild cohomology of the dual algebra structures for the quasi-entwining structures of finite-dimensional algebras and coalgebras.     

The Hochschild cohomology of square-free monomial complete intersections

We determine the Hochschild cohomology algebras of the square-free monomial complete intersections. In particular we provide an explicit formula for the cup product which gives the cohomology module an algebra structure and then we describe this structure in terms of generators and relations. In addition, we compute the Hilbert series of the Hochschild cohomology of these algebras.     

Hochschild cohomology of partial relation extensions

We show how to compute the low Hochschild cohomology groups of a partial relation extension algebra.     

Derivations and Automorphisms of the Positive Part of the Two-parameter Quantum Group Ur,s(B3)

We compute the derivations of the positive part of the two-parameter quantum group U_(r,s)(B_3) and show that the Hochschild cohomology group of degree 1 of this algebra is a threedimensional vector space over the base field C. We also compute the groups of(Hopf) algebra automorphisms of the augmented two-parameter quantized enveloping algebra ?_(r,s)~(≥0)(B_3).

We define the Hochschild complex and cohomology of a ring object in a monoidal category enriched over abelian groups. We interpret the cohomology groups and prove that the cohomology ring is graded-commutative.

令$A$是代数闭域$k$上的一个有限维结合代数, $\mod A$是有限维左$A$-模范畴,$X_1,X_2,\ldots,X_n$是$\mod A$中的完全例外序列,再令$E$是$X_1,X_2,\ldots,X_n$的自同态代数,我们在本文内,研究了$E$的总体维数,计算了$E$的Hochschild上同调群和同调群.     

一类量子Koszul 代数的Hochschild 上同调

本文利用组合的方法, 详细地计算了一类量子Koszul 代数Λ_q (q ∈ k \{0}) 的各阶Hochschild 上同调空间的维数, 清晰地刻划了代数Λ_q 的Hochschild 上同调的cup 积, 确定了代数Λ_q 的Hochschild上同调环HH^*(Λ_q) 模去幂零元生成的理想N 的结构, 证明了当q 为单位根时, HH^*(Λ_q)/N 作为代数不是有限生成的, 从而为Snashall-Solberg 猜想(即HH^*(Λ)/N 作为代数是有限生成的) 提供了更多反例.     

Hochschild cohomology of algebras of quaternionic type: The family Q(2ℬ)<Subscript>1</Subscript>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">k,s, a,c</Emphasis>) over a field of characteristic different from 2

In a previous joint paper of the author with A.I. Generalov and S.O. Ivanov, the Hochschild cohomology algebra of quaternionic-type algebras from the family Q(2ℬ)₁ over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 2 was calculated. In this paper, the Hochschild cohomology groups of algebras from this family over an algebraically closed field of characteristic different from 2 are calculated. As a corollary, the additive structure of the Hochschild cohomology of algebras of type Q(2 $ A $ A ) over a field of characteristic not 2 is described.     

Hochschild Cohomology Rings of Temperley-Lieb Algebras

The authors first construct an explicit minimal projective bimodule resolution(P, δ) of the Temperley-Lieb algebra A, and then apply it to calculate the Hochschild cohomology groups and the cup product of the Hochschild cohomology ring of A based on a comultiplicative map Δ:P → PAP. As a consequence, the authors determine the multiplicative structure of Hochschild cohomology rings of both Temperley-Lieb algebras and representation-finite q-Schur algebras under the cup product by giving an explicit presentation by generators and relations.
