p-拟鞅变换

本文研究了p-拟鞅变换的问题.利用Banach空间的几何性质,得到一维和二维参数下拟鞅变换理论,推广了鞅变换的一些结果.     

拟-Φ-渐近非扩张映像不动点的迭代

给出了Banach空间中拟Φ-渐近非扩张映像族公共不动点的一个修正的迭代算法,并利用所给出的算法证明了一个强收敛定理.     

Qr空间及其闭图像定理

在qw＊拓扑的基础上定义了Q空间和Qr空间,重点给出了在拟桶偶对条件下的Qr空间的有界算子的闭图像定理以及描述Qr空间几何特征的重要结论.     

Banach空间中的kUKK性质

给出Banach空间X的一个新的几何性质—kUKK,证明了具有该性质的Banach空间X具有弱Banach-Saks性质;Banach空间X是kNUC的充分必要条件是自反且具有kUKK性质;鉴于几何常数在Banach空间几何性质中扮演的重要角色,由kUKK的定义给出了新常数R_2(X)的定义,并证明了当R_2(X)k时,Banach空间X具有弱不动点性质;最后计算R_2(X)在Cesaro序列空间中的具体值.     

Banach空间值鞅上的拟局部算子

本文研究了拟局部算子在几个Banach空间值鞅空间上的有界性.给出了几个有界性定理,证明了鞅空间的简单原子分解.得到几个极大算子和p均方算子的一系列鞅不等式以及鞅空间的包含关系.     

复空间的凸性与Hardy鞅不等式

本文研究了取值于复拟Banach空间的一种特殊类型的鞅——Hardy鞅的不等式与该空间的解析一致凸性的关系,证明了Hardy鞅的q均方函数的弱(1,1)型,强(p,p)型和凸φ函数的不等式,并应用它们给出了复空间的解析q一致可凸性的等价条件.同时借助于复平面单位圆中的Banach空间值解析函数和Brown运动给出了同样的刻划.     

复平面上解析Banach空间的拟不变子空间

讨论复平面上解析Banach空间具有任意指标的拟不变子空间的存在性问题.首先给出一类复平面上解析Banach空间存在任意指标拟不变子空间的判定定理.作为应用,证明了Fock型空间F~p(C)={f∈Hol(C):1/π∫_C|f(z)|~pe~(-|z|~2)dA(z)+∞,1≤p+∞}与Hilbert空间H={f∈Hol(C):1/π∫_C|f(z)|~2e~(-|z|)dA(z)+∞}具有任意指标的拟不变子空间.     

Banach空间逼近紧性与预报算子连续性的几何条件

首先给出 Banach空间为逼近紧的几何特征 .然后用随机变量组成的 Banach空间及空间中预报集的几何性质给出预报算子连续的条件 .     

算术平均值与几何平均值不等式的推广

利用初等对称多项式得出算术平均值与几何平均值不等式的推广形式,并给出[1]中的一个猜想不等式的证明.

解析函数空间中复合算子的平均遍历性

本文研究了复合算子的遍历性问题.利用经典算子理论的方法,获得了单位圆上加权Banach空间中复合算子遍历性的结果,我们还得到单位圆上Hardy空间中类似的结果,我们的结论是对乘子算子相关结果的推广.     

Convergence of almost-orbits of nonexpansive semigroups in Banach spaces

The purpose of this paper is to show that the study of mean ergodic theorems for almost-orbits of semigroups of nonexpansive mappings on closed convex subsets of a Banach space can be reduced to the study of orbits for semigroups of nonexpansive mappings. This provides a unified approach to various mean ergodic theorems for almost-orbits in the literature and new applications.

     

New Versions of Some Classical Stochastic Inequalities

Motivated by an investigation of finding necessary and sufficient conditions for the Kolmogorov strong law of large numbers for the general Gini's mean difference, new versions of the classical Lévy, Ottaviani, and Hoffmann-J\ooTrgensen inequalities are obtained for a sequence of Banach space valued random variables. No geometric conditions are imposed on the Banach space. An application to the general Gini's mean difference in a Banach space setting is presented.

给出了Banach空间的p-弱近似性质和p-有界弱近似性质的定义,获得了这些性质的一些刻画.利用这些刻画证明了如果一个Banach空间X的对偶空间X~*有p-弱近似性质(或p-有界弱近似性质),则X有p-弱近似性质(或p-有界弱近似性质),在一般情况下反之不成立.     

Banach空间上Ptolemy常数的计算

利用绝对正规范数生成凸函数的关系,给出了加权平均范数空间上Ptolemy常数的取值,解决了一些文献的遗留问题,并在一些具体的空间上给出了Ptolemy常数的新结果.     

On Some Applications of Geometry of Banach Spaces and Some New Results Related to the Fixed Point Theory in Orlicz Sequence Spaces

We present some applications of the geometry of Banach spaces in the approximation theory and in the theory of generalized inverses. We also give some new results, on Orlicz sequence spaces, related to the fixed point theory. After a short introduction, in Section 2 we consider the best approximation projection from a Banach space $X$ onto its non-empty subset and proximinality of the subspaces of order continuous elements in various classes of Köthe spaces. We present formulas for the distance to these subspaces of the elements from the outside of them. In Section 3 we recall some results and definitions concerning generalized inverses of operators (metric generalized inverses and Moore-Penrose generalized inverses). We also recall some results on the perturbation analysis of generalized inverses in Banach spaces. The last part of this section concerns generalized inverses of multivalued linear operators (their definitions and representations). The last section starts with a formula for modulus of nearly uniform smoothness of Orlicz sequence spaces $\ell^\Phi$equipped with the Amemiya-Orlicz norm. From this result a criterion for nearly uniform smoothness of these spaces is deduced. A formula for the Domínguez-Benavides coefficient $R(a,l_\Phi)$ is also presented, whence a sufficient condition for the weak fixed point property of the space $\ell^\Phi$is obtained.     

Probabilistic normed Riesz spaces

In this paper, the concepts of probabilistic normed Riesz space and probabilistic Banach lattice are introduced, and their basic properties are studied. In this context, some continuity and convergence theorems are proved.     

Fixed point properties of semigroups of non-expansive mappings

In recent years, there have been considerable interests in the study of when a closed convex subset K of a Banach space has the fixed point property, i.e. whenever T is a non-expansive mapping from K into K, then K contains a fixed point for T. In this paper we shall study fixed point properties of semigroups of non-expansive mappings on weakly compact convex subsets of a Banach space (or, more generally, a locally convex space). By considering the classes of bicyclic semigroups we answer two open questions, one posted earlier by the first author in 1976 (Dalhousie) and the other posted by T. Mitchell in 1984 (Virginia). We also provide a characterization for the existence of a left invariant mean on the space of weakly almost periodic functions on separable semitopological semigroups in terms of fixed point property for non-expansive mappings related to another open problem raised by the first author in 1976.     

A new class of operators and a description of adjoints of composition operators

Starting with a general formula, precise but difficult to use, for the adjoint of a composition operator on a functional Hilbert space, we compute an explicit formula on the classical Hardy Hilbert space for the adjoint of a composition operator with rational symbol. To provide a foundation for this formula, we study an extension to the definitions of composition, weighted composition, and Toeplitz operators to include symbols that are multiple-valued functions. These definitions can be made on any Banach space of analytic functions on a plane domain, but in this work, our attention is focused on the basic properties needed for the application to operators on the standard Hardy and Bergman Hilbert spaces on the unit disk.
