In [ 2 ], D.Hoff analyzes an implicit finite difference scheme for the mixed initial -value Dirichlet problem for a system of two conservation laws with artif ficial viscosity . The system is a model for isentropic flow in one space dimen-sion .However, in [2], there is an additional condition on the state function p(v),(?)For polytropic gas, p(v) = k2v, where k>0 and 1<γ≤3,the condition (*) is equivalent to 1<γ<2. 主要考察Boussinesq方程v_(tt)-v_(xx)+v_(xxx)=σ(v)_(xx),x∈R的整体解的存在性和blow-up问题,当σ(v)=-β(|v|~p v),β0,p0时,通过采用构造稳定集(位势井)W={v∈H~1(R)|||v_x||~2+||v||~22(p+2)/p d}和不稳定集V={v∈H~1(R)|||v_x||~2+||v||~22(p+2)/p d}的方法,得到了W和V在上述方程的流下是不变的,并证明了如果初始能量E(0)≤d,那么当初值v_0∈(?)时,问题存在惟一整体解;当初值v_0∈V时,问题的解在有限时刻T_1∈(t_1,t_1+4φ(t_1)/pφ′(t_1))发生爆破.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to compute the Betti numbers of the moduli space ofparabolic vector bundles on a curve (see Seshadri [7], [8] and Mehta & Seshadri [4]), in the case where every semi-stable parabolic bundle is necessarily stable. We do this by generalizing the method of Atiyah and Bott [1] in the case of moduli of ordinary vector bundles. Recall that (see Seshadri [7]) the underlying topological space of the moduli of parabolic vector bundles is the space of equivalence classes of certain unitary representations of a discrete subgroup Γ which is a lattice in PSL (2,R). (The lattice Γ need not necessarily be co-compact). While the structure of the proof is essentially the same as that of Atiyah and Bott, there are some difficulties of a technical nature in the parabolic case. For instance the Harder-Narasimhan stratification has to be further refined in order to get the connected strata. These connected strata turn out to have different codimensions even when they are part of the same Harder-Narasimhan strata. If in addition to ‘stable = semistable’ the rank and degree are coprime, then the moduli space turns out to be torsion-free in its cohomology. The arrangement of the paper is as follows. In § 1 we prove the necessary basic results about algebraic families of parabolic bundles. These are generalizations of the corresponding results proved by Shatz [9]. Following this, in § 2 we generalize the analytical part of the argument of Atiyah and Bott (§ 14 of [1]). Finally in § 3 we show how to obtain an inductive formula for the Betti numbers of the moduli space. We illustrate our method by computing explicitly the Betti numbers in the special case of rank = 2, and one parabolic point.  相似文献

Controlling the convexity and the strain energy of the interpolating curve can be carried out by controlling the second-order derivative of the interpolating function. In [1], the rational cubic spline with linear denominator has been used to constrain the convexity and the strain energy of the interpolating curves, but it does not work in some case. This paper deals with the weighted rational cubic spline with linear denominator for this kind of constraint, the sufficient and necessary condition for controlling the convexity and strain energy of the interpolating curves are derived, and a numerical example is given.  相似文献

Such manifolds are sets of all optimal points of a certain parametric non-linear optimization problem. This paper presents above all certain generalization of some results of [F. No ? i ) ka and L. Über Lösungsmengen spezieller konvexer parametrischer Optimierungsaufgaben . Optimization 19 , 215-228. Akademie Verlag Berlin], under less strict assumptions. The main results are presented in Sections 3 and 4, in Section 3 the geometrical characterization of the set of optimal points of a certain parametric minimization problem is presented; in Section 4 we study a maximization non-linear parametric problem assigned to it. It seems that it is a certain pair of parametric optimization problems with the same set of their optimal points, so that this pair of problems can be denoted as a pair of dual parametric non-linear optimization problems. This paper presents, most of all in Section 2, a number of interesting geometric facts about strictly convex functions. From the point of view of non-smooth analysis the present article is a certain complement to Chapter 4.3 of the book [B. Bank, J. Guddat, D. Klatte, B. Kummer and K. Tammer (1982). We present two different generalizations of R. Schaaf's (1990) [18] time map formula to quasilinear equations, including the case of p-Laplacian. We give conditions for monotonicity and for convexity of the time map, which imply uniqueness or multiplicity results for the corresponding Dirichlet boundary value problem. Our time map formulas can be also used for effective computations of the global solution curves.  相似文献
